I'm 11+5 and I've only started to get cramps but the tiredness is a hundread times worse this week, I fell asleep on the floor last night at 8!! It's irritating dh, but what can u do!! Thought this tiredness was meant to bigger off near 12 weeks?

EmmaDee · 08/03/2013 14:30

redandyellowandpinkandgreen · 08/03/2013 14:38

I'm having a baby Grin

All fine, moved me on one whole day and I couldn't work out the nuchal measurements as she seemed to take a few but think it was 1.7.

I hope I'm reassuring to those without symptoms as I've been fine apart from some odd food things going on.

jennimoo · 08/03/2013 15:46

Emma, definitely 'moist' downstairs here, has been since the start... Blush

EmmaDee · 08/03/2013 15:55

Cheers Jennimoo, was getting a tad worried cause it hadnt popped up before in the discussion of side affects, but I suppose there's so many of them!!

I order the angel doppler today, as I am mental and am continually panicking about the baby! Hopefully if it works it might calm me down a bit!

frogchops · 08/03/2013 16:02

Not ha the moist business.... But is anyone else getting a really itchy lady garden? It's doing my head in!

KamikazeeKid · 08/03/2013 16:02

Got results today 1:9200 which is better than with ds.

Im hoping ds will be covered by mil initially but my sil is due a month earlierso may clash. She would have no interest in helping sadly never been interested in our ds :-(

I may end up having c section again but am hoping can sort a work around with childminder too. Im dreading that part! Just hope hes not too unsettled DH will be off with him too.

jennimoo · 08/03/2013 16:48

Frog chops - sounds like thrush to me... I'd get checked out.

Dorita75 · 08/03/2013 17:21

I didn't know about the cord cutting option either, but then I've not thought that far ahead yet but it's good to know.

Yay beans and red such a relief isn't it!! Welcome roller too.

Yes Emmadee I've been 'moist' since the start!

I've had a cracking headache since last night so spent the day in bed with a wet flannel on my head. I had a few months of hormonal migraines before Christmas which acupuncture cleared up. This feels similar but I know it could be dehydration too, if this isn't a one off I'm going to do some research, I think it's to have acupuncture in pregnancy. Anyone any experience of it?

Readytosettle · 08/03/2013 17:40

Just ventured into the kitchen for about the first time since I found out I was pg....and made the most ridiculous mess! I was making soup & just seem to have slopped everything everywhere. I even managed to spill washing up bubbles etc all over the floor etc. am I just out of practice or is this baby making me incredibly clumsy??

TripleRock · 08/03/2013 18:23

yy to delayed cord clamping, waiting until cord has stopped pulsating is my ideal this time round.

It wasn't possible with dd due to crash section, so what will be will be I suppose!

frogchops · 08/03/2013 18:28

Jenni, this isn't thrush type, is just itchiness in the hair region. Not the horrible inside and out thrush itch. Starts up by bump.
Talking of bumps, my boss told me today that everyone at work has guessed due to the sheer size of my belly. Anyone else huge at 12 weeks?? I'm worried!

jennimoo · 08/03/2013 18:38

Frog chops - I see. I get that sometimes, I think I remember having a 'trim' helped. Blush I can't believe the posts in making today, was discussing moistness earlier and now this!

frogchops · 08/03/2013 18:42

Haha.... The switch in conversation from the last time I logged on always makes me laugh!!

LexyMa · 08/03/2013 18:43

We did the sex again today! [proud]

And I had a massive bento box of deep fried veg, prawns and salmon and sticky rice DH brought home from this fantastic little Japanese cafe in Watford Market. Omg it was heaven.

Better have my actimel for the day soon!

kimjayne · 08/03/2013 18:45

Glad Im not the only one feeling a tad moist downstairs! Felt too embarrassed to ask so thanks to the person who brought that topic up! Phew.
Anyone else got a strange red prickly heat type rash on their chest/boobs? Or am I the only one to be blessed with this rather FIT looking skin condition? I'm hoping it's just a pregnancy thing rather than the start of measles :( eek
By the way, am I the only massive wimpy first timer on here who feels a but freaked out by the idea of pulsating cords? ... doesn't really bode well that the thought of labourers me feel a tad light headed/nauseous! God Im mard!

Readytosettle · 08/03/2013 19:04

The moistness is normal...it's protecting us from infection

CharlW1 · 08/03/2013 19:36

Welcome roller same due date as me Smile.
Anyone else becoming a bit socially unaware sometimes - today I wore maternity tights which were the absolute bain of my day as they kept rolling down -I discovered at work (while no one was looking) that if I took the stairs 2 at a time that I could pull my tights up really high so they were more comfortable and didn't roll down as fast. I remembered this tip when I got off the train tonight and walking up the stairs of the platform and thought nothing of taking big strides up the platform stairs whilst pulling my tights up through my dress! I got a few funny looks and suddenly realised what I was doing! cue me quietly giggling to myself.
I found out the reason they kept falling down when I got home - they are petite and at 5ft 6" I don't fall into this bracket so the legs were too short Blush baby brain.

Girraferama · 08/03/2013 19:37

kimjayne I'm with you there - pulsating cords is an image too far!!

CheeseStrawCraving · 08/03/2013 19:47

Kimjayne, I'm with you on the pulsating cord, in my head I am not even giving birth, I'm just going to have the baby in six months. From the stork.

When my aunt was pg her midwife said, oh yes Mrs H, she knows she's pregnant, she just doesn't expect to give birth. Which made me giggle!

Frog, maybe it's just dry skin? Do you have lady garden dandruff?!

Yay for good scans, hope you've all had a good day!

Creamtea1 · 08/03/2013 20:23

I have purchased raspberry actimel (the normal not the low fat) - it actually tastes nice, much more preferable to prunes and the like. So let's see if it works :)

Not sure if there are any other trash tv addicts on here but did anyone see TOWIE the other night when joey got upset about his mum? I was literally unable to keep the tears in - and in RL I am a strict non-cryer!

fl0b0t · 08/03/2013 20:51

Nothing "nice" to say over here. Yes to moist me now yes to thrush. Was so tired when I went to pharmacist i accidentally told her I was pregnant so came away without canesten :( going to have to go to mother chemist now (it is ok to use in pregnancy, right? Was discussed about 40 threads ago but I was smugly ignoring it having not had thrush in years!) . Yes also to more painful cramps and anyone else's spine clicking me crunching at every movement? Not having much fun right now!

Readytosettle · 08/03/2013 20:59

That's exactly what happened to me flo.....fortunately mine cleared up using the out of date cream I managed to dig up at home. Apparently cream & pessary is fine but not the tablet. I wouldn't feel that comfortable about the pessary without asking a doc first tho personally.

fl0b0t · 08/03/2013 21:08

I'm sure I don't have any cream at home! So itchy and throbby! :( I don't think its a uti ( but don't know for sure) think its just thrush. fidgets

Sorry for terrible typing and predictive text errors. Usully been in bed for n hour by now.....
