I had three slices. I pretended it was one and got all indignant:-)

I was all lined up for a court nasty myself but called to say the other party had vacated to be listed in three months time so no longer my problem. Boom!

This time last year we were all dressed up and heading to the Brit Awards- DH music industry bod. Now I'm on the sofa about to watch it in PJs, with squash instead of champagne. How life is changing..

peardrop2 · 20/02/2013 19:37

Oooh MrsBri that doesn't sound fun! Hope you purposely stuck your tummy out a bit more then usual to make him feel bad after!

Sarah - I know what you mean. I run in from work, change into pjs and smile to see my dressing gown (1st ever dressing gown) before getting comfy on the couch! Life has definitely changed!

DontmindifIdo · 20/02/2013 19:40

Olimoss - poor you! Hope you are on the mend and are being spoilt.

Sarah - I'm sure there's others in your office who've given up cake and treats for lent, you are just having their share. I would point out to precious cake baker that if it's been left out uncovered, it probably will be dry by Tuesday, and if it has any cream, it probably wouldn't be best to be eaten anyway. The obvious solution is for you to take up cake baking and take in cake on Wednesdays.

DontmindifIdo · 20/02/2013 19:42

oh and, I realised, 9 weeks today and it'll be my last day in the office. I'm not quite at the stage of counting the number of sleeps, but not far off.

pinkapples · 20/02/2013 20:14

Awwww I've still got a few weeks more than that hehe about 14 Hmm
Waiting for baby to kick me having some more movement now but by no means is it all day and neither i nor hubby has felt it from the outside Hmm I'm 24+1 today so fingers crossed she gets going soon (will be mega regretting that soon I'm sure) looking forward to baby show this weekend and 3d scan in 6 weeks Grin

MrsBri · 20/02/2013 20:26

Pear, I made sure my belly was on view on the way in...I think it would have been worse if I wasn't pregnant, to be honest! That particular Judge is known for being harsh :-/

I have 11 weeks and 2 days til I finish now. Or 51.5 working days thanks to leave / bank holidays. Lovely stuff!

MrsBri · 20/02/2013 20:27

Ooh...and we now have our wallpaper and our sample paints also arrived today. Want to decorate NOW! :-)

pinkbear82 · 20/02/2013 20:32

Olimoss that's really nasty - from experience of working in a Physio environment make sure you get some to help what ever needs doing - they can help! Hope it's not too painful and watch your back with the crutches.

Bubs has been have a boogie today which has actually been quite nice and kept me calm on a stressful day. Got loads to deal with at home, nothing plain sailing or as it should be and just as you think it can't get any worse another thing came about today. My head may well explode at this rate Confused but feeling bubs wriggling around was strangely soothing.

peardrop2 · 20/02/2013 21:11

6 weeks and 2 days Grin

RueDeWakening · 20/02/2013 21:13

pinkapples so I shouldn't tell you that I'll have a baby in less than 13 weeks, then? :o there's an upside to having to have a section before 38 weeks I suppose!

Sunbeam18 · 20/02/2013 21:19

Oli poor you, that sounds awful. I hope you are taking some time to rest up after the fright.
Sarah there is nothing worse than a self-righteous baker in the office! Why bring a cake in on a Monday if you want Tuesday workers to eat it? They wouldn't even have known about it if it was all gone. That kind of scolding from office feeders makes me blood boil.
Xx

AmIGoingMad · 20/02/2013 22:44

Poor you olimoss! I hoe you've managed to rest up a bit now.

Am going to have to google green sheep. I'd never heard of them and I live in the land of sheep!

Sarah- does the baker intend to monitor you all or maybe keep the cake at her desk to make sure everyone has their share?! Madness!

I'm just shattered at the moment. Have yawned all day. Should have gone to bed earlier really but have been busy catching up with things around house.

Night ladies!

Olimoss · 20/02/2013 22:44

Thank you everyone, you're all lovely.

I won't know more till I see the Ortho next week but I've definitely re-busted a previously busted (and repaired) ligament so I'm sure another MRI and op needed but baby will determine timescales for all that. A bright blue leg brace is not my best look....

I'm worried now I'm static and can't move around or swim that'll I'll just pork out to feral proportions!

Babe moving heaps tonight so v reassuring.

Re: cake - eat it all!!

Chica I'm 42 and have energy in fits and starts. We can't have a humidifier as the damp is worse for the asthma than the dust Sad.

I managed to get the upstairs and stairs cleaned, which was good.

I cycled over to the yoga class, which was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am currently cycling about half my usual speed, but it was nice to ride- I've barely been on my bike this year! I'm going to have to plan some nice flat routes and try and do a bit more. Dr's for a check up early tomorrow so I'd better get some sleep.

night!

Posted by me, this morning.

GRRRRRRRRRRR!

massagegirl · 21/02/2013 08:26

Mawg .... Get yourself to the shops and buy whatever sweet stuff you want. Sit and watch some crappy tv/film. And if he had a ho politely remind him you are growing a person. Grrrrrr. Oh I want a double decker now!

Mawgatron · 21/02/2013 09:17

Thanks massage. And get yourself a double decker. Best thing you will do today...

redwellybluewelly · 21/02/2013 09:19

Holy cow Maw I am shocked - have commented on that thread! Methink you need to start thinking of ways to exact revenge.

cyclecamper I get energy in bursts too, I'm finding it increasingly uncomfy to work at work and so making it in for 8.40am and then working till lunch, having a walk around and then working until 4.15ish before selecting onw piece of work to complete in the evening, picking up DC1 from nursery and heading home.

I can recharge my batteries at home, then do my piece of work before getting an early night. I do weekend night shifts with DC1 so I have to conserve my energy through the week. Tonight though I am starting on the great unclutter

Maw I read that thread earlier, I can't believe how rude he's being! Especially as he's not joining in the "regime" himself! Should I be the first to say LTB? WinkGrin

suzyrut · 21/02/2013 11:09

mawgatron that has made me really GRRRRR for you, tell him his actions are raising the blood pressure of pregnant women everywhere, now that's dangerous! My biggest loathing of pregnancy and motherhood is the way that fully grown, independent, self sufficient women are treated like total idiots completely unable to make considered choices and have, by conceiving, somehow granted everyone from strangers in the supermarket upwards carte Blanche to comment on ALL aspects of our pregnancies and motherhood.

Sorry rant over but this really gets me riled. Dp once asked how many cups of tea I'd drunk that day, he didn't do it again!

Sorry to hear about your accident oli sounds really awful.

On a positive note my hushamock arrived this morning, it's taken a couple of attempts to assemble it and now it's done it's enormous and I don't know if (after dis and re assembling) it will fit in our room where I thought it would. Spatial awareness was never my strong point xxx

DontmindifIdo · 21/02/2013 11:17

Mawgatron - I'm really sorry but it appears you have married a twat. I hope this is just temporary paternity twatishness and he'll turn back into a sane person shortly.

My DH would not do this, but that's possibly not because of not being twatishly leaning, more out of self preservation. He knows not to get between me and chocolate. Divorces have been brought for less...

LexiLexi · 21/02/2013 11:20

Ouch Oli, hope you are feeling a little better today and are coping with the crutches ok.

Maw sorry to hear of your DH comments, looks like MN found it a bit controversial as it's disappeared from view. If it's any consolation, my appetite has returned with a vengeance, so have been merrily scoffing marzipan chocs and (slightly guiltily) hot cross buns...

Little Green Sheep have a 10% discount code valid til Friday, FREEBIEFRIDAY.

We are having a last minute panic as completely forgot to get the paternity forms in, luckily tomorrow is the last day for us!

LexiLexi · 21/02/2013 11:20

er I meant paternity leave forms!
