minipenguinmaker orangebubbles dinky ACAS will tell you things, but not intervene or enforce the rights/payments. Like the EHRC they will tell you the law, but up to you to get it enforced. Remember they are 'guidelines for good practice', and not all employers can or will follow them.
Legal Advice Centre may be better at stating that Mini knows her rights and they are not expected to be infringing them. (Am going through Employment Tribunal). ACAS also intervene at very late stage.... CAB bit general. Also maybe use a free hour/half hour with a solicitor. Take a list of questions, use the time wisely.
photographerlady So, there are plus and minus sides to this redundancy... frugality can be good, as Dinky says...
Special Hope the osteopath manages to sort car problems...
Dinky OOOOOOOOH! Was it really exciting? Can't wait for mine!
Interesting things...got my NHS blood test result yesterday...by phone, not all of it either. According to them have a 1 in 15 risk of Downs (blood test alone, no nuchal). They apparently count my age, my BMI, prev pg history, and DH's age aginst us..... My Harmony Test result was less than 1 in 10,000 for all 3 trisomies. So glad I went for the Harmony first now....
