Sept 2013?

Hello - bit early, but I definitely had two positives this morning, wanted to check on drinking vodka this evening or not. I make due date 4th Sep 2013.
I had to terminate a pregnancy in late Sep at 13ish weeks because of incompatible with life diagnosis, so hope that doesn't happen again (I have a 25% chance but hopefully I'll fall in the 75% this time).

OP posts:

I've been sick 4 times today! FOUR! That's more than in my whole first pg. I. Feel. Rough.

andadietcoke · 13/01/2013 22:05

amidwifecrisis show offEnvyWink

Seriously though, hope it doesn't last long, or at least comes and goes. Have you managed to eat anything? Hope tomorrow is better for you.

catpuss good plan. Plus he'll see how pleased you are and have no choice but to be caught up with it all.

hackneybird · 13/01/2013 22:06

kamikazee I will be going for a ELC section should this pregnancy stick. With my son I had a horrendous 4 day labour ending in forceps then an emc and there is NO WAY I am risking having to go through all that again. I was so traumatised afterwards I couldn't talk about it without crying for weeks.

Anyway....congratulations craving and welcome! You must be delighted.

You too Thorn.

amidwifecrisis · 13/01/2013 22:19

dietcoke it's coming out of nowhere, i'm fine one minute then over the loo the next. finding comfort in toast. In between i'm feeling peachy :-) hope everyone else is doing ok too.

Creamtea1 · 13/01/2013 23:20

Hi ladies, feeling slightly more rough here - am going to do last cb digi tomorrow to check it says 3+, have booking appt on thurs.
Talking of booking appt - when they weigh you - few questions: will they object/ think I'm insane if I take my coat and boots off? Also, do they write your bmi as 24.7 or would they round that up to 25? Or down to 24? Everyone seems to talk in whole numbers rather than decimals for preg bmi.

amidwifecrisis · 13/01/2013 23:28

Hi creamtea i'm a MW and I wouldn't object (or judge) if you chose to take off your coat and boots, and I would round 24.7 up to 25 HTH

CatPussRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 13/01/2013 23:35

Amidwifecrisis, what about if I took off my earings, socks and spectacles...? Hmm Grin

Creamtea1 · 13/01/2013 23:46

Thanks amidwife :)
Catpuss I wont wear any watch, earrings, bracelet etc! I know, mad Blush

CatPussRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 14/01/2013 00:08

Not at all creamTea! Jewellery can be very heavy! Grin

amidwifecrisis · 14/01/2013 00:14

People have far more strange habits than taking jewellery/unecessary garments off to be weighed!

CatPussRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 14/01/2013 00:18

OOH! Do tell! Grin

mynameisnotmichaelcaine · 14/01/2013 06:27

Thorn, I breastfed my dd until I was 7 months pg with my son. She weaned herself as the milk dried up. She was not at all upset by this, and took it in her stride. Bf during pregnancy was quite hard in some ways - made me feel sick and ansty - however it did make dd nap which was a godsend. Adventures in Tandem Nursing is a good book to have a read of. Oh, and don't worry about nutrients for the baby, ds was 10lb!

LotsaTuddles · 14/01/2013 07:17

I've also got occasional symptoms but worry when I don't, although I did have to have like half a bottle of gaviscon yesterday Blush and when I lie down I feel so unbelievably sick.

Off to work in the snow today Sad

andadietcoke · 14/01/2013 07:43

Lotsa how's your mum? Any positivity yet? I think changing symptoms are par for the course. I have one really sore boob, and two sore nipples. Weird.

Good luck today CatPuss

LotsaTuddles · 14/01/2013 07:49

She hasn't changed her mind yet, she's still not happy and hoping it isn't happening.

Anyone else having trouble staying asleep? It's weird, I'm shattered but as soon as I get in bed, I can't go to sleep, then when I do, I keep waking up every few hours

TripleRock · 14/01/2013 07:55

Just wanted to send out positive vibes to all who are hoping for positive news today.

And to share my top anti m/sickness tip from last time, salt and vinegar snackajacks teamed with marmite rice cakes!

Stocked up over the weekend so I can be prepared if it hits me again. Also had ginger tea, shloer, preggy supplements and clear blue conception indicator tests in my trolley, so was really hoping not to bump into anyone I knew :)

CatPussRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 14/01/2013 08:12

Well I've just had my first weird dream! I was in London, bumped int Robbie Williams and he asked me to go and buy him a builders breakfast! Confused I tried to get a picture with him, but I couldn't get my camera to work! Very weird, and, sadly disappointing! As it was a dream I should have asked for a snog!

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 14/01/2013 09:22

Morning all. Hope everyone is coping well with the morning sickness. And maybe have dreams about Robbie Williams tonight Wink.

Creamtea1 · 14/01/2013 10:30

Just did my last cb digi and got a 3+ pregnant within 30 seconds :) :)

Kittenkatzen · 14/01/2013 10:33

Morning all

to hooya :o

jmf sorry to hear your news, hope you've had a lovely uneventful weekend and I'm keeping my fx for you

tuddles I'm having the same sleep issues as you - it's like I'm constantly shattered and wishing for my bed, but I keep waking up every couple of hours throughout the night. V frustrating.

5+4 today and still no sickness here. Just the constant tiredness, achey boobs, and light headedness if I don't eat something every couple of hours. I keep swinging between "OMG WHY AREN'T I PUKING YET IT MUST ALL BE GOING WRONG" and "don't be daft it's all fine, and there's nothing you can do even if it's not". It's exhausting being in my head right now!

TripleRock · 14/01/2013 10:36

Well done Creamtea Grin

jmf294 · 14/01/2013 10:37

Hope all having scans today see nice healthy little ones with strong fluttering hearts!!

andadietcoke · 14/01/2013 10:50

Ooh creamtea I'm jealous. How far along are you now? I veer between 'a 3+ would reassure you' and 'you'll only panic if you get a 2-3 and they're notoriously unreliable'

kittenkatzen yep. Me too, almost exactly, but 5+3. I want to be sick!

CatPussRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 14/01/2013 10:51

Well, that's my blood test done. I was running late and rushed on an empty stomach. I'm feeling rather wibbly now! Had a little weep in front of the nurse. Now all I have to do is pray the results come back ok tomorrow!

Hooya · 14/01/2013 10:55

Hello all!

Wow time is passing slowly! However I do feel a bit sick today Smile what kind of mentalist is happy to feel sick?

Kitten I'm with you, to make it worse DP and I seem to be alternating moods - when he's happy and excited, I'm paranoid and convinced I will mc, then the next day we're the other way around! Wonder if I'm not sleeping due to pg hormones or just all this mentalling!

Hope everyone is well / suffering with appropriate symptoms Grin
