Hello - bit early, but I definitely had two positives this morning, wanted to check on drinking vodka this evening or not. I make due date 4th Sep 2013.
I had to terminate a pregnancy in late Sep at 13ish weeks because of incompatible with life diagnosis, so hope that doesn't happen again (I have a 25% chance but hopefully I'll fall in the 75% this time).

I remember the random sickness free days last time: tomorrow when the sickness returns with a vengance you wish you made the most of it!

Lotsa hope your mum sorts herself out :( At the age of 25 I called my Mum to tell her that after 5 years of being together, having bought a flat together, I was engaged to DH. She reacted really badly, and didn't know what to say. I think it was her own issues (married my Dad at that age and ended badly...) that caused it, and she apologised a few days later. Hope it works out like that for you.

Feeling moderately quesy today, but in the office and stuffing myself with food, hopefully discretely....

@Lotsa - As some of the other girls said she will come to accept the idea soon enough im sure. Especially when she sees a cute bubba ;-) and if she doesnt.....its her loss!

@Lexyma - Yup I think thats all of us Herts girls. Hopefully we might cross paths at Watford Gen or can arrange a meet-up before of after bubbas are due!?

Yeh random sickness is annoying. Didn't help this morning that I actually saw some vomit on the floor...felt like I was gonna add to it! Lol! I think the trick is eating early like some of you girls have said. I was eating fruit and\or yoghurt of a morning...but that isnt cutting it and stopping the sickness.....so am opting for toast etc instead and that seems to sort me out.

PS - Just scoffing cola bottles and a mini choc bar......then thought of the fact that some people put on approx 4 st when preggers!! If I put on 4 st from the size I am now I wouldnt be able to leave the house! Am still exercising as much as I can when sickness allows

Jm233 I had that at the weekend - boobs are back to being sore again. Yesterday I felt sick, today not at all, although i am actually revolting myself with the amount of burping.

Hi Lotsa, sorry about your mum's reaction - I expect she will come round but we are all very happy for you and send you the best so hope that can lift you until your mum sees sense!

Corkgirl - hope you get some rest and have a better next few days - we are baby twins as I am 5+2 today as well!

Am very envious of weewee seeing her baby - I also forgot to worry when I saw my son as was so amazed by how much like a baby he looked - his little heart and he was crazily waving his arms around!

mad alert! I wandered past little baby clothes in John Lewis today but didnt touch, just looked.... (:

Wow, I thought I'd be getting in fairly early, but it seems not! I suppose I've been delayed by trying to get my head round the situation as this was definitely not on the agenda, for this year or any other. Have two DS already, 6 and 3 and thought that was it. Due September 4. Hi to all!

Apologies for jumping in and not having read the whole thread first... Really sorry weechops.

Wasn't sure whether to join this or August, as am due on 2nd September, but both DS1 and DS2 were 37 weekers.

How is everyone doing? I got really riled up by a customer today and my heart was pounding!! Had to remind myself to calm down - hope babies aren't affected too much by stress!
Still no real symptoms! Oh well. Just taking one day at a time!
I'm a Londoner by the way. Islington girl seems to have disappeared though!

Still struggling to believe I'm pregnant. I'm just over five weeks gone and feeling no symptoms yet - I even peed on a stick again yesterday evening to convince myself that I really am expecting. Am I alone in this?! It's taken me three years of trying and IUI treatment to get this far so maybe its natural to be paranoid.
