pmgkt oops

MyDaydream · 19/12/2012 21:22

Spotty love that you came back to rub in that your not pregnant anymore! Can't wait for a snuggly baby boy sleeping on my lap.
ivana lady in the supermarket suggested moving heavy furniture to me at the weekend to get him shifted, depends how desperate your feeling I guess.
Good luck pmgkt, hopefully once yours comes it'll get a few more moving, feels like ages since I've said congratulations.

Due date tomorrow maybe I can get something working overnight, although doesn't feel like it. I'm getting more annoyed I can't make plans properly now, everything is "if I've not had the baby do you want to..."

We also have loads of Christmas prep left to do, like going to town and buying dinner so if baby does come now it might be a beans on toast dinner for us. MIL brought over our presents today, along with mine from DP. I asked for boots, he's acting like he's not got me boots and I really can't tell from the shape of the box if he's just trying to make it a massive surprise or if he genuinely hasn't got me them.

ellliebelle · 19/12/2012 21:26

pgmkt best of luck for tomorrow :) looking forward to another birth announcement hope you arent too hungry in the morning xx

ellliebelle · 19/12/2012 21:28

mydaydream i did an online food shop this week being delivered on saturday so i know xmas dinner is at least sorted :)

MyDaydream · 19/12/2012 21:40

My food shop came today too, but wanted to get the Christmas day stuff myself as sometimes the meat they send is a bit crap and I don't want to be disappointed on Christmas day.

Hormonalhell · 19/12/2012 22:16

R u cooking on Xmas day mydaydream and elliebelle even with or w/o baby???? I'm going to my mum to be looked after!! Stress I don't need or want

Hormonalhell · 19/12/2012 22:17

I went and bought some cute little Xmas bibs too, prob won't get to wear them Sad

MyDaydream · 19/12/2012 22:27

hormonal me and DP will do a team effort on cooking, although we're having steak and potatoes rather than a full on roast to make it easier.

ellliebelle · 19/12/2012 22:47

Yeah i know what you mean about getting xmas day stuff yourself i just really couldnt face it with 2 dc's already and i should definately have baby by then plus dh doesnt drive so i would have to

hormonal my dh always cooks xmas dinner :) plus i have been lazy and ordered lots of preprepared veg this year and my mum is over so she will help ill be sat on my bum with my 3 beautiful children all day :)

2blessed · 19/12/2012 22:55

So tonight me and dp dtd! Fingers crossed something shifts. Seeing the mw tomorrow too.

Dp announced he will be cooking dinner on christmas day, fine by me. Will just be us but may have family and friends pop round in the evening.

So far, everyone bar 2 people have called this lo as a boy. Most people have said because I am carrying all in front Confused

PeruMum · 19/12/2012 23:10

Hi everyone

I'm new to this thread but thought I'd join in! My edd was 17/12/12. Booked in for a sweep tomorrow, but not holding out much hope for progress! Anyone else getting really cross for no real reason?! Poor dh is being very patient, but I'm a nightmare! ;)

blackcurrants · 19/12/2012 23:47

I think we're having spag bol - we've spent the last month filling up the chest freezer, so we're not doing ANYTHING fancy for Christmas. DS is too young to notice, and although I love a nice roast it's just not going to be something I faff about with this year. Specially as it's looking more and more like I'll still be pregnant over Christmas and frankly, even standing hurts my ladybits at the moment, so slaving over a hot stove is RIGHT OUT!

Good luck for tomorrow pgmkt - come back and tell us all about weight and names and the dreamy smell of newborn hair, to keep us going!
God I can't wait to sniff that little head.... c'mon baby, get out here!

MyDaydream · 20/12/2012 00:38

I'm keeping myself awake symptom spotting hoping that its a sign things are starting. I'm fairly sure my stomach keeps tightening, and baby is going crazy when its not tight. I have a very painful, sharp foot sticking into me. I'm uncomfortable, I'm hoping desperately for it to turn into labour but I know really I'll be here a week from now still pregnant and I'm just keeping myself awake needlessly.

ellliebelle · 20/12/2012 01:33

You still here daydream im also up think ive been contracting irregulary for over an hour now but had so many false alarms am dubious to call a midwife out Hmm butbon the other hand ive been 4-5 cm dilated since sat and last laboir was very fast so also feeling nervous. Just decided to sit on the ball see if anything changes

blackcurrants · 20/12/2012 01:38

Oh, fingers crossed for you both! I am.awake cos I am 5 hours behind you all, but no symptoms here, alas.

yuletopian99 · 20/12/2012 03:56

I'm like you daydream, but it's been doing it for four days now and when i had my sweep on tues she said things were soft but in no way dilated or even moved forward. V pissed off..just woke up with almighty cramps that disappeared as soon as i got up to walk about. Angry

2blessed · 20/12/2012 05:56

Good luck pmgkt

Sat up in bed with my kindle and a mug of raspberry leaf tea whilst dp sleeps blissfully. So jealous! I just want 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep...

Hoping this is the start of something ellie and daydream

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 20/12/2012 06:09

Good luck pmgkt

Looking forward to some more of you ladies joining us on post natal!

MyDaydream · 20/12/2012 06:52

Nothing happened and I got to sleep eventually although I'm still feeling all tight and crampy. Might have a big clean today in the hope all the running around and activity will convince him to come out.

yuletopian99 · 20/12/2012 08:08

I've been awake since 6, tired,.achy and crampy but know it's going nowhere. Just got so irrationally furious with one of the cats for playing with my foot while in bed that i woke dh up by shouting at them. Blush
Have taken myself downstairs so he can enjoy a lie in on his first day of holiday, I know it's stupid but this going overdue is starting to ruin what was otherwise a very happy pregnancy. Feeling really miserable.

emilyeggs · 20/12/2012 08:14

Morning ladies, no babies then Sad. I felt a tiny bit crampy last night but deep down I knew it was a long shot and just wishful thinking really! Still I had a great nights sleep, 9hrs!! Lets see what today brings....

JoJoB77 · 20/12/2012 08:17

Good luck pmgkt!

Stacks · 20/12/2012 09:04

Good luck pmgtk!

Well I'm 40+11 today. Sweep booked for 10am, then position scan at 12 to prepare for induction Saturday. I really hope today's sweep works though and I get a 20/12 baby. Not least because I really want to not be pregnant ant more!!

Sorry for those getting bad nights sleep due to deceptive bodies. I guess I'm happy mine hasn't been giving me false labour symptoms. Though I'm sure all these nights if cramping and BH are doing something to prepare you and LO. I'm wondering if my body has any clue how to deliver a baby Confused

Hormonalhell · 20/12/2012 09:39

I really feel for you mydaydream, elliebelle and yuletopian . I cannot imagine going over as every day now I'm feeling more uncomfy, fed up and just ready for baby to come. It's like your life is on hold and with it being Xmas too it's harder as having this baby for us all is much more important and at the forefront of our minds but then we know once our babies are here we can celebrate with our families instead of feeling miserable Sad

Big FX for all of us this week for evictions!!!!Grin

Hormonalhell · 20/12/2012 09:40

Feel for you too Stacks and anyone else Smile
