JoJoB77 · 16/12/2012 11:43

Hi ladies

Well i'm still here with no real signs Hmm

I've decided to try and forget about it (yeah right) and just get on with things. It'll happen eventually. It's my due date tomorrow so will see what that may bring.

Hope those who are feeling pains progress and those who are not, it will be our turn soon Smile

A little girl called Eilidh 8lb 12oz, born last night at 21.29. Lots of drama which I'll update when I get a chance, I needed transfusions and shes on oxygen. Just about to head up to see her.

I just woke myself up doing a rather loud snore, I'd fallen asleep on the sofa and DP has friends round. Oops. Blush

O dear daydream did anyone notice :) ive just had a lovely relaxing bath followed by an even nicer nap this afternoon will probably never sleep tonight but feel best i have all day had a banging headache and felt sick most of it :( dh is going to put tbe dd's to bed early as they have had such a busy weekend they are totally worn out so im in for a nice peaceful evening :)

Hormonalhell · 16/12/2012 18:19

I get like that too elliebelle hate it when I feel sick for no reason!!Angry

ellliebelle · 16/12/2012 18:28

Yeah me too its not a good feeling :( im super fed up of still being pregnant noe especially after consultant on thurs didnt book imduction for tomorrow as she was so confident the sweep would work within 72 hours :( and then midwife who gave me a sweep yesterday told me she thought she'd be back last night to deliver my baby :(

leobear · 16/12/2012 19:10

I feel really sick as well tonight Sad

BuntysFestiveCollocks · 16/12/2012 19:24

Common theme - I also feel sick tonight! Fairly sure mine is because I'm starving despite eating leftover Chinese and then worrying about listeria

Terrywoganstrousers · 16/12/2012 19:56

Congrats Gils and Eilidh- hope you're both better really soon!
Another spice fest tonight- fajitas with extra jalapeños! I did have a contraction about ten mins ago lasting a minute or so- not sure if it was BH or not as I have got horrendous backache anyway.
No other signs though so I think I will be disappointed again

Terrywoganstrousers · 16/12/2012 19:57

I've been feeling sick for a few days- I read the other day that it is quite common from 38 weeks onward due to hormone surges.

yuletopian99 · 16/12/2012 21:26

I've been feeling sick too! Have had another afternoon of cramps/contractions which again has now tailed off. Trying to not be bothered but really just want it all to kick off and no idea how to encourage it. Called the hospital who say it all sounds like early labour but for a first timer this could go on for says still. Getting really really hacked off with my own uterus.

RudolphTheRedNosedGiraffe · 16/12/2012 21:56

Congratulations gils, get better quickly Thanks

I was feeling a bit sick earlier too but a visit to McDonalds seemed to fix it!(it could have gone either way but I decided to take the chance). It's taking me back to the first trimester, feeling bloated and sick yet still being hungry in the midst of it. Was feeling really down earlier about being so overdue and uncomfortable, but now I just think, either way the baby should be here by this time next week Xmas Smile.
