Bellaboo123 · 14/12/2012 04:36

Good luck barbeasty and hope you feel better will you

FriendofDorothy · 14/12/2012 06:35

Nobody told me it would be this painful this early on in labour!

niewiem · 14/12/2012 06:35

Good morning ladies, I came out of lurking a few threads ago then went back into hiding , now out again at 40+1:) have a question, possibly TMI - Dh and I dtd yesterday night and since 4:30am after every pee have been having little gushes of pinkish watery fluid..its definately not pee as feels different coming out. Not sure now if its semen or waters breaking?(have had spotting previously after sex due to small cervical erosion) the gushes only come after urination or when I stand for a while..nothing while lying down. Have had to change pads once already. Also have period like cramps but very irregular atm. Unsure if I should go to hospital now or wait a few more hours as Dh has v.important job interview today and won't be back home till 11am then we could go in together..

Bellaboo123 · 14/12/2012 06:40

Niewiem I'd give the hospital a call and just talk through with them. Most probably they will ask you to go in but could be v early stages but they'll want to exam you.

Good luck!

niewiem · 14/12/2012 06:52

Thanks Bella..have to find the number now:)

SpottyTeacakes · 14/12/2012 06:52

Good luck FoD!! How frequent are your contractions?

yuletopian99 · 14/12/2012 07:56

Good luck fod and possibly niewiem?

Had some proper cramps last night, enough to get out of bed and do some careful breathing, but then nothing. Grr. No reason to complain as only due tomorrow, but still. Pil's have asked 'how I'm doing' twice this week, as dh arrived a week early - feel like I'm letting them down. Xmas Sad

RockabillyKitty · 14/12/2012 07:58

Good luck to those with symptoms this morning!

emily re: turning over in bed - I roll onto my back, bend my knees with my feet flat on the bed and use my feet and an elbow to sort of lever me over. Total nightmare. I try and only turn over when I have to get up for the loo - which is 3-4 times a night at the mo.

My last day of work today girls! Finally!! EDD is only 2 weeks and 2 days...

pmgkt · 14/12/2012 08:02

I have been in a week now, just one more to go!

gilsbubbles · 14/12/2012 08:07

Twinges throughout the night. Been up for a few hours and now having pains every 10~15 mins. Just hoping it keeps progressing, time to get out the tens machine :-)

Hormonalhell · 14/12/2012 08:33

GrinGrin at visualising all these women in bed struggling to even turn over or go to loo....please can I be a member of the beached whale club??!!

Seems like a few more are preparing to leave us, I just know I'm gonna be last one left as I'm only 36 weeks Sad

Hormonalhell · 14/12/2012 08:35

Quick question - one of my boobs really hurts, painful to touch and feels pretty hard. All around the nipple area, milk doesn't just come to one boob at first does it?

2blessed · 14/12/2012 08:58

Good luck gils and nieweim!

Enjoy your last day rocka

I probably had my most uncomfortable night. I tossed, turned, got up and had drinks, folded and put away clean laundry replied to texts etc. finally got to sleep just before 6 and have just been woken up by delivery of moses basket stand.

Have a good day ladies, hopefully we'll get some more babies today. Xmas Smile

ellliebelle · 14/12/2012 09:07

Sorry on phone so cant remember who it is but good luck to all those with contractractions or going to hospital for other things this morning.

Im not happy i really feel with how painful the sweep was yesterday and the fact that i made a real effort and nearly killed myself having a bit of romance with dh last night that i deserve to be in labour right now Wink instead i just woke up every hour of the night with a rock hard bump and the need to wee so im now frustrated and tired :(

FriendofDorothy · 14/12/2012 10:17

Do you think it's too late to write a letter to Santa?

Dear Santa,
I'm now 38+1 weeks pregnant and turning over in bed is such hard work I get up in the morning and I'm still shattered! So if you could please make that more comfortable and less painful I would be very grateful. Also I don't mind if baby is late, but I'd like to go into labour naturally and I'd like it not to be too long or too painful (they don't have g+a here either!). Thanks.

Love you lots Santa! We can be BFF!
Many thanks

Nutella.
P.S. if there is a fancy nappy bag going spare I'd quite like that as a Christmas present. Again, many thanks!
