It was very quick indeed. I think I had been here less than an hour and she was here. But definitely very painful! Just intense. Pretty Sure I should be sleeping now she is and happily fed but still in shock etc/adrenaline. I shall piece together the events ASAP, even the MW hadn't written any notes and she was here!
With a due date like 12/12/12 you wouldn't have thought it was possible but hey!
Belle is hiccuping in her sleep next to me I'm one happy (soppy) mummy right now! Smile

I'm having some weird baby movements, feels like loads of pressure on my cervix and like he's doing Mexican waves in there across my stomach, down to my cervix and then a little rest before repeating! I hope he calms down soon so I can get some sleep. I also hope he's not planning his escape, I'm really looking forward to seeing my friends on Saturday and eating lots of Italian food.

Congrats cookies. The lady next to me is so annoying. She has snored all day, and all night, left her phone in ring so woke up the ward at 11, now decided that since they won't let her husband in she will discharge herself. It's half 1, she is on pain killers, can bearly walk, is talking rubbish and hasn't even managed to go to the loo in over 12 hours. Stupid women. At least just go back to snoring rather than making a fuss so the rest of us can sleep.

I cannot sleep as the bambino has mammoth hiccups, been going for ages. Low down in my pelvis and bum. Cute any other time of day, but not right now

Big congrats cookies! Lovely name & brilliant DOB!

I'm lying in ward after a few hours sleep with noises of women snoring or quietly suppressed agony as they try to go through first stages silently. Also screaming babies on postnatal ward nearby.

First pessary isn't going to be enough for me (even though things r pretty painful!) so it looks like I'm here for a while & am Sad as expected to be doing this bit at home & using lovely new bathroom etc instead of gross mouldy hospital puby bath.

I also expected to be with DH who I can't even text as he needs the prep sleep for when things do really kick off.

Feeling SUPER sorry for myself & lonely. Glad of MN, I'm so sorry to moan.

cookies sounds like Ethan's birth. He was out within 35 minutes of getting to hospital! It was slightly scary how quick it was! I hope you are sleeping now! Well done!

Sorry to hear about bad nights in hospital pmg & queen. I moaned about being bored but at least I'm at home in my own surroundings. Never be sorry for moaning Wink
