kissyfur · 27/10/2012 22:43

Awww huge congrats to VQ so glad to hear all went well! Thanks

Sounds like things could be happening for you sophia, DH and jaylee!

Sorry you've been treated so badly Tits I'm shocked that they are just leaving you in so much pain and so immobile too Sad sending you a hug.

No signs of anything happening here, bug that's fine. Baby can stay put for a while longer, at least til we get all the all the furniture we order today delivered and put up! I am really hoping that today's trip there will be the last for a long while!

horseylady · 27/10/2012 23:23

He's here. I'm fucked.

Both of us shell shocked, but safe!!

Born by foreceps (nearly emcs) at 6.30pm after 4 hours of pushing.

8lbs near enough. May or may not do birth story I need to process it first!

StuntNun · 27/10/2012 23:26

Congratulations Horsey! It can take a long time to process a difficult labour but the main thing is that he arrived safe and sound.

kirrinIsland · 27/10/2012 23:33

Congratulations horsey Like stunt says, the main thing is that he's safely here and that you are ok.

Peaky1 · 27/10/2012 23:39

Congratulations to VQ and Horsey! Glad all are safe and well. I'm finding it astonishing that you were hiding an 8lb-er in there Horsey!

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 27/10/2012 23:41

Congratulations to the new mummies!

kissyfur · 27/10/2012 23:41

Congrats horsey! Hope you start to feel better soon. I too am surprised you had an 8lber in there! Well done and enjoy these precious first few days Smile

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 23:56

horsey well done! Also lovely to hear from VQ, Jacob is a lovely name :)

Also very exciting there are lots of early labour signs at the moment!!

TheDetective · 28/10/2012 00:21

Congrats VQ and Horsey!! All these well behaved babies arriving early...! Love the name Jacob VQ just love it! I'm not shocked at your 8lber Horsey as I know how well they can hide in there!!!! And he did hide well!

Been out for a lovely meal with my Dad. DP did me proud... Made all the correct noises to keep my dad happy! So as a reward I am going to go near him. Somehow. Some way. Not sure how... But.... Errrrrrm?!

In other pop related news, it's happening here too! I've been for my second poo of the day didn't just admit that and this is not like me! And I get the pains when I need a poo too. Grrrrrrr.

Cacacaz · 28/10/2012 01:09

Ahhh lots of lovely babies Grin wonderful news, congratulations everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your baby snuggles.

tits I'm totally disgusted with how you have been treated, I really hope someone takes action for you soon

My inlaws are off on holiday for 2 weeks tomorrow am, to Lanzarote, they were hoping baby would arrive before they left but que sera sera. They knew when baby was due before they booked their holiday, in saying that both of my sil never got to 39 weeks with their babies.

georgee · 28/10/2012 01:07

Bless you horsey. Don't worry if you don't feel you want to revisit the whole experience with us but we're here if you do. Four hours pushing is a long time, you must be knackered. And sore! Just enjoy your little chap - you're both safe and that's all that matters. Great weight. Hope you get some sleep tonight. x

shanelle5 · 28/10/2012 04:38

WONDERFUL news horsey made m (very early) day and brightened up the 4 am sleeplessness, so happy to read your little man is here safe and sound and hugs to you for doing so well in carrying and giving birth to an 8lber- you did fab.
Cant wait to hear more on it (when you are ready), see piccies and hear name. Meanwhile, be good to yoursel, get rest, eat and lots of TLC to you both x

CandyPop · 28/10/2012 04:57

Haven't been able to catch up for a few days and I come back to a new thread and 3/4 births!! Congratulations to those who's made it! I am super jealous !!

I reached 37 weeks yesterday! Yay!!! 2 days left of work next week so baby can come anytime after Thursday if she wishes Grin. With all these beautiful babies being born I just want mine now!! I havent even contemplating she could be born be overdue... That would potentially mean another 5 weeks!

I'm not sure if if its just wishful thinking and whether they r phantom symptoms but I have period like pains on and off and frequent poo trips inc one just now at 4.30am.

I'm also not sure if I had any braxton hicks.... My tummy does go hard a few times a day but many coincides with when I've just eaten Blush. Also my bump is all to the front anyway so very big and tight normally anyway...

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/10/2012 06:00

Congrats horsey!!

Nothing exciting here I'm afraid, went to bed and laid on my left and the pain just stopped grr! Have been willing it back on but no such luck.

Also ds decided to wake up at 6 which was actually 5 ugh. I feel way too tired today.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/10/2012 06:15

Am still here. Had a lovely nights sleep and all quiet so far. Which is good as I would really like to hold off till Thurs. I think I need to slow down though.

Congrats horsey good job, can't believe you pushed for so long, you must be exhausted. Take care of yourself. Xx

SwissArmyWife · 28/10/2012 06:16

Aw VQ he sounds lovely, congratulations :)

And horsey well done to you, congratulations on your very well hidden little boy!

Makes me wonder what weight mine will be now Shock

12 days to go until due date!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/10/2012 06:18

And at somea point horsey you should chat through your birth with someone and work through your feelings about it, it will help you move on from it. I didn't with DS and have had quite a lot f things to deal with getting ready for this time, so maybe ask for a debrief while you are still in hosp. They may not offer it. Xx

pikz · 28/10/2012 06:29

Congrats horsey welcome to the world little man.

Congrats VQ another little man.

Am green with envy....want to meet mine now!

Iheartpasties · 28/10/2012 06:33

sohpia very good point, horsey talk as much or as little as you want with the birth. I talked and talked about mine with dh afterwards and it helped. I find myself telling my tale quite a bit now, and actually I am starting to get my head around the idea that I will soon have a new story to tell.

jaylee89 · 28/10/2012 07:30

Bloody nothing here either. Didnt get up for a wee all night though i slept right through! But was busting when i did wake.

Going to cinema today to watch paranormal activity so hopefully that will bring something on lol (wishful thinking) 38 weeks today.....COME ON BABY!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS horsey we are here when you are ready to talk about your birth. So sorry it was tough hope you feel better soon...enjoy your snuggles -hugs-

ShellyBobbs · 28/10/2012 07:40

Congratulations Horsey you have done amazing. Hope you can now get plenty of rest as you'll need it. Hugs to you both x

ValiumQueen · 28/10/2012 07:42

Congratulations horsey I am sorry it was not the birth you wanted, and my sympathies on the forceps. You have clearly been through the mill, and I hope the newborn snuggles are making up for it. I also second talking about it when you are ready.looking forward to hearing a name.

blonder practically cloth twins! Have you put one on yet?

Also congratulations Tia I have not read the other thread, so apologies if I missed anyone.

AFM, survived the first night at home. Third night with no sleep, but the feeding has payed off as I have milk! One huge boob, and the other is visibly growing. Jacob cannot believe his luck. Sore, swollen from the IV fluids, and getting all the contracting after pains when feeding, but all going well. Been a while since I was pissed on too, so getting used to boy baby.

Jacob was one of the first names I suggested, and was vetoed. The night before baby arrived, DH said 'his name is Jacob'. I said OK. Not quite used to it, as people ask and I go 'umm, Jacob'.

Iheartpasties · 28/10/2012 07:52

VQ it's all sounding great!

ValiumQueen · 28/10/2012 08:01

DD1 is feeling pushed out again, but DD2 is so in love with her baby brudda, and being so gentle, I am really quite amazed. DH is shattered, and this morning I was feeding Jacob with all three of them snoring away in bed next to me. We got up and slept in DD1s bed for about an hour, and woke up with a basket ball boobie!

I do hope your babies arrive soon as it is much more fun this side, although I had forgotten how hard the first few days are!
