Detectve Mine's doing the same, LOA, ROA, OP. seems to change by the hour.

Just enjoyed a bath. Decided to de-fur seeing as I last shaved my legs 8 weeks ago, they'll last me until Christmas now Grin It was a huge effort and I had to contort in to some strange positions. And I may or may not have sneakily used DHs hair clippers on my lady garden Blush

MM Lara is on our girls list. We are clueless really though, just hoping he/she just makes us think of a name when it's here

kissyfur · 01/11/2012 21:53

Glad I'm not the only one DH and misslaughalot! It was a bit disconcerting at first

Good luck for tomorrow madamegazelle!

Just heard that one of DD's friends who we saw yesterday has come down with a sickness bug! Poor thing Sad really hoping we escape it

pikz · 01/11/2012 21:56

Congrats to all the new babies! Can't believe baby will be here this month!

Good luck tomorrow to all those being induced/having c sections.

Am very jealous...bored of pregnancy now! Worried will end up overdue and DP will miss everything with having to go away.

georgee · 01/11/2012 22:33

Good luck for tomorrow everso, MadameGazelle and Tits!

Have a feeling that my baby will be born on 2 December. No reason for this except that I like the date and it's a week after my due date. So that would be a whole month from tomorrow. I think I'll be the only one on the board by then!

What am I going to do for a whole month? Perhaps I should take up knitting.

Hope you all sleep well, particularly those with big days tomorrow. I'm off to bed now.

Chunkychicken · 01/11/2012 22:43

I swear this baby is so low now s/he could grab my pubes - I swear I can feel movement below my bump!!! Why won't they find the exit already??!!!

I too have the cervix/bladder jumping and the spinning baby.

Titsalinabumsquash · 01/11/2012 22:58

I'll be updating because DP won't be here until 5ish he has to work still you can all be my cyber birthing partners if I go into labour quickly! Wink
They might get really busy and not do me until the afternoon/evening though we shall see what happens I guess.

I fell asleep, I thought it was morning when I woke up, I'd been asleep 20 minutes. Blush

ComradeJing · 01/11/2012 23:06

Is anyone else in a general foul mood? I feel full of pMT and angst.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 01/11/2012 23:22

Been trying to get ready for bed since 9pm but James won't let me. Every time I remove him from boob he screams blue murder!

Have had blood transfusion now so feeling a whole lot better and hoping for discharge tomorrow. James has been given the ok already.

Good luck to tits and gazelle

Ohhhh we have a race for 1st November baby! Good luck ladies Grin and enjoy those 1st newborn cuddles.

wellieboots · 02/11/2012 01:24

Yay for izzy, huge congratulations! It's been a long road, I hope you are SPD free very soon if not already, and that you are enjoying the snuggles. What was the transfusion for? Did you have a difficult delivery? It seems to be a recurring theme, but my DH is also James!

And yay for tits and your induction - hope it goes ahead, no more hiccups and all goes well, will be thinking of you!

Going to bounce on the ball all afternoon, see if I can get this baby to shift itself! My mum is just telling me to be patient and aim for 10.11.12 as wouldn't that be cool - well yes, but I don't want to be 10 days over just for the sake of a cool birthday! My twin nieces were born last year on 11.11.11, so my family are pushing for another special sounding date! And my MIL, who was 12 days early with both of hers, wants to know where the baby is - ha ha, take one look at me and it's perfectly obvious Confused

Good luck to anyone else with sections or inductions, let's have our first Nov baby soon! But I do hope tits gets to be first!

TheDetective · 02/11/2012 01:45

I succombed to a shag. I tell you what. It best be fecking worth it. I'm not doing it again!! Not when pregnant anyway! Feels so weird!

Am now sniffing clary sage in bed with some cracking Bh's for company.

ComradeJing · 02/11/2012 06:13

I hear you Detective. I'm not a happy pregnant shagger. I feel like a whale.

Wellie, I'm fingers crossed for ds to be 21.11.12 - I think it's the last palindrome for years.

kissyfur · 02/11/2012 06:38

Gah! Up since 5 in agony from carpal tunnel again Sad

Me neither comrade and detective Can't be doing with it at all Blush poor DP

DD was born 01.02.2010, would be cool if this LO arrived on the 10th, 11th or 12th

FatimaLovesBread · 02/11/2012 06:46

I want baby to arrive on the 10th, although that'd be 13 days early and it's also DH birthday.
Woke up to some lovely period pains and BH again. Going to do some more housework in the hope that they settle down or become something proper.

Night to myself in bed was lovely, although I didn't get deep sleep til about 1am. DH got home at 3am Shock he's just gone back to work now so he can get his 6hrs in then come home to sleep

Oh and I'm full term today, woop woop!! Although I did have a mini panic last night that that means I'm going to have a baby soon Grin

Titsalinabumsquash · 02/11/2012 07:11

Morning, Smile

I fell asleep hugging my iPad in the end, then woke up at 4.30am
I have rather an explosive tummy bottom although that's probably nerves!
No idea of an exact plan for today although I'm very tempted to get the doors outside barricaded so labouring women don't flood in and take my space Blush

Just need to get the gel in and there is no turning back

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/11/2012 07:16

Ds and I have bloody colds so doubt this baby will make an appearance til I feel better, not if she has any sense anyway! I even googled it and some people reckon its a sign of impending labour but that might just be wishful thinking!

The only date I don't want her to come is the 15th as that's my dads birthday, and obv she's not allowed to be late so not after the 20th!

georgee · 02/11/2012 08:16

Good luck Tits!. Explosive tummy is good, get it out of your system at this stage. Will be thinking of you today.

Have a cold here too DH, we'll be glad to have got it out of the way in a week or so, one less cold for the baby to catch.

For those that are DTD (Detective), if this isn't too personal a question, are you achieving this in the conventional manner or in a different position?! I can't see how it could be done apart from, erm, doggy style, and this would give me an immediate backache if I was hanging out in this position ... maybe that's out then as a form of induction! Anyway, hats off to you for managing it!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/11/2012 08:22

georgee v true I wouldn't want baby catching it. Re sex- we're managing it about once a week still, spooning is also a good one!

BarmeeMarmee · 02/11/2012 08:30

Bloody hell detective, once a week still? My poor DH! I can't stand the thought of the pain in my hips etc so he's not allowed anywhere near me!

FatimaLovesBread · 02/11/2012 08:39

DH isn't allowed anywhere me either. If I admitted the last time we'd had sex you'd all be outraged Grin

Is anyone else really windy? I'm not terribly smelly, just some v impressive loud ones Blush

Titsalinabumsquash · 02/11/2012 08:43

Yes Fatima! I seem to be able to manage to time it to be in the toilet in the ward before letting off super loud ones Blush they blood well echo in there I tells ya! Grin

I think this baby is having a competition with the baby next door, we're all on CTG monitors and everytime her babies heart rate picks up, his does too... Competitive already! Hmm

georgee · 02/11/2012 08:44

Gosh DH, well done indeed. Yes, that might be a good positioning option! Ta!

WaitingForMe · 02/11/2012 08:53

Warning TMI!

I feel like death. Woke up at 1am with terrible D&V, thought I was surely empty and took some paracetamol. Woke up at 3.30am, wet. Had a fraction of a second of hope that my waters were breaking but no. Thank heavens the bed was set up for waters breaking. DH was lovely but very confused when I said he needed to get up and get clean sheets. Not much mess in actuality but how utterly gross Sad

Clean sheets on, he gives me a hug and I get a little more sleep. I wake up at 4.30 knowing I'm going to throw up this time. I only just reach the bathroom (we have an ensuite) and throw up EVERYWHERE. Suddenly I'm cold and shaking. I wake DH for the second time and he goes to clean up after wrapping me in the duvet. He makes me a cup of instant tea then cuddles me until I fall asleep.

Today I've asked him not to go to work. I feel very pathetic and needy but just have this overwhelming sense of vulnerability. Baby was happy to kick me throughout.

glendathegoodwitch · 02/11/2012 09:07

Awwwww hugs waiting your hubbie sounds amazing, mine has been a star too, cooking, massaging, trimming lady garden and even DTD when requested lol

No signs :( am blitzing the kitchen today so will be on hands and knees scrubbing the floor!!!

Good luck tits hope it's a quick induction!!!
