kissy ha! Def meant to be!

Yay tits great news :)

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 01/11/2012 18:34

Thats wonderful news tits I'm so pleased for you!

kissyfur · 01/11/2012 18:42

Woo hoo tits that's great news! Good luck for tomorrow and also to everso

Has anyone else noticed their LO doing a sort of rhythmic pulsing movement? I have noticed it a few times now, seems to be where LOs back and bum is? It's not hiccups, I googled it and it said it could be practice breathing? Just wondered if anyone else noticed it or knew what it could be?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/11/2012 18:47

Brilliant tits hope all goes well, keep us posted with news.

Reflexology today, told her I was ready for the baby now,so fingers crossed I end up going into spontaneous labour instead of the sweep route again Hmm

So a nice dinner with DH, glass of wine, relaxing bath, and maybe, just maybe I could have some love Wink (although the hacking cough next to me isn't giving me much hope in that area)

shanelle5 · 01/11/2012 19:08

Lovely news today on here, CONGRATULATIONS IZZY on baby James halloween birthday, wonderful news at last tits best of luck for tomorrow, your story has been unbelievable and I so hope you are pain free tomorrow and good luck everso x

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 01/11/2012 19:11

Great news tits. Hope it goes well.

Having my section tomorrow. Am first in the list of planned sections but they arent starting those until the afternoon and today's planned sections didn't start to happen until 6 hour after they were due to commence, so it is possible it will be late tomorrow or even Saturday.

All v real now, especially as my Mum has thrived to help with DD.

DesperateHousewife21 · 01/11/2012 19:16

kissy yeah I get the rhythmic movement, it looks like she's practising breathing too. At my scan around 35 weeks the sonographer said she was practising breathing and they had to do two different abdominal scans because of it. It's like my belly goes up and down quite quickly where her bum is.

shanelle5 · 01/11/2012 19:31

Oh wow more babies, cant wait to read the news tomorrow. good luck madame too

LittleLolly · 01/11/2012 19:32

Congrats to everyone who has had their baby, and come on the rest of the November babies!!

I wish I had more time to keep up with the thread but baby is keeping me very busy. Well, him and he millions of visitors!

I can't quite believe its 2 weeks since my baby was born, it's flown by!!

Hope some more babies come along very soon

kirrinIsland · 01/11/2012 19:39

Good luck to everso and madamgazelle for tomorrow, and to tits - that is fantastic news :)

FatimaLovesBread · 01/11/2012 19:43

Yum, i've just baked myself a big flapjack Smile

Good luck tomorrow Madame!

DH has just gone back to work, means I get the bed to myself, and he's said if he's later home than 1am then he'll sleep on the sofa. Planning on having a relaxing bath then going to read a book in bed whilst watching tv and eating my flapjack. What more could I want Grin

Chunkychicken · 01/11/2012 19:53

God luck Madam!

In the words of TOWIE, "well jell" Fatima. Grin

Lilliana · 01/11/2012 20:13

Yay Tits Finally!

Good luck tomorrow Madame

I get the breathing movements too

I have started writing christmas cards! Figured I wouldn't have any time (or motivation) to do it after baby is born so have written the card and just left a space on each one so I can add on babies name once he/she has arrived.

misslaughalot · 01/11/2012 20:29

Kissy and DH I've had that movement too! So glad others have experienced it! It didn't last too long, but was a definite up and down different to hiccups where baby's bum seems to be. Had no idea it was practice breathing though, that's amazing!

Congratulations tits and good luck madame! Looking forward to hearing about the arrivals of your little ones soon!

TheDetective · 01/11/2012 20:45

Thank fuck for that Tits!!!!!!

Now, I demand you to keep this thread updated throughout said induction Grin

MM have you considered Clara? I really like it, but it doesn't go with DP's name, or I don't think it does. So we ruled it out. But it sounds similar to your proposal? Maybe! I like Lorna though!

Where is YW these days?! She has been quiet - is she home with Jonas yet?!

I'm cooking a mean spicy chilli. It should have been ready hours ago. All I can say is I am never ever doing DIY with DP ever again. And definitely not at 39+5 weeks!! I've been under a fecking wardrobe FFS. How hard can it be to get a wardrobe straight and put some handles on it?!?!?!?!

It is now propped up with ripped, folded pages from a book called 'This is War by George Bush'. It is a spoof thing. I hope baby never goes under his wardrobe Grin it is full of sweary words hehe! Oh, and Mog the Cat is under the carpet.

Fucking uneven floors. Silly old house.... Hmm

I've set out a baby grow, vest, hat and cardi for baby to wear. Those are to be put on the radiator at the right time! Blankets are near by. I think we are ready now. Apart from soap and hand towel Grin

Oh, and the curtains for the nursery. But we won't go there... it may never bloody get any at this rate!!

DP asked me before, does he have to get dressed if I go in to labour in the middle of the night. I told him that the midwives have no wish to see his willy sloshing about in his pj bottoms. Categorically yes. Clothes are to be worn by him. I don't care what clothes, as long as they are clean and cover the relevant bits! Honestly... men!

TheDetective · 01/11/2012 20:49

I've not had these breathing movements. Just hiccups!

This baby is on a pivot I swear! It moves through out the day from direct OP, to ROA, LOA, and everything in between! It is a funny little thing, it literally swings around like a ballerina! Nothing to do with my lapsed stomach 'muscles'

I've given up worrying about position because it seems quite able to manoeuvre itself around at any given moment. I'll just worry in labour.

MissMummy1 · 01/11/2012 21:00

I like Clara, but apparently there was an unfavourable Clara in my family 3 generations back and my Gran has said it's an absolute no no.

As far as I know YW was hoping to get hom today. Her DSis is going up on Saturday for 10 days and YW and Jonas are both doing really well. I'm sure she'll update herself when she gets a minute!

I've had virtually no movement today but can hear a strong heartbeat and kicks/movements on my doppler so reckon it's just the way junior's lying. It's quite common for me not to feel very much so I'm not too worried. . Will keep an eye on it but sods law if I go to phone assessment unit, he/she will shift and start battering me! I have felt a few small movements. More than somedays. Pregnancy has turned me into a paranoid wreck!

TheDetective · 01/11/2012 21:08

I have deduced from my stay on sunday - that when this baby goes OP, I can't feel the movements properly - I could hear them on the monitor, but barely registered feeling them. Suspect it is the anterior placenta, as the movements must be around the area where the placenta is when OP!

Bloody children, giving us the run around before they are even born!

Mine has also turned in to a night owl, it's most active time being after midnight Hmm

Clara is out then Grin

Thanks for updating on YW was stood in kitchen chopping peppers and thought, hang on a mo, where has she gone to! Blush

ShellyBobbs · 01/11/2012 21:09

Good luck for tomorrow Ever and Madam, jealous, us? Shock

Fantastic news Tits, keep us updated.

Forgot what I was going to write now. Itchy rash getting worse :(

MissMummy1 · 01/11/2012 21:14

I quite like Lara. Names beginning with L are good as it's the missing letter in the Claire acronym!

I have an anterior placenta too so think that must be it. I've become such a worrier over the past 8 months. Somehow I think it's only going to get worse once he/she is born!!

MissMummy1 · 01/11/2012 21:15

Shelly have you had your bilirubin levels checked? It's something I know can cause itchiness in pregnancy.

DesperateHousewife21 · 01/11/2012 21:17

This baby has been quieter for a couple of days, went to the loo this eve and she's been wriggling away like a mad thing. Lots of head spins on my bladder/ cervix. I keep thinking my waters are going to burst when she moves its so forceful sometimes!

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 01/11/2012 21:17

Thanks all. Very excited/nervous. Will update when I can - not sure if I will be able to from the hospital and not sure am brave enough to allow DH to log on as me to update you all! Hope everyone else stays well - see you on the other side!

TheDetective · 01/11/2012 21:24

Good luck Madam I am not jealous. Not a teeny tiny bit Grin

DH I think that too when I get the mega movements and cervix grabbing punching I am sure that is enough force to break the waters. Clearly not. It just produces pee. Hmm

Looks like I'm gonna be going over due. Again!

ShellyBobbs · 01/11/2012 21:33

MM Yes, they've checked my bloods and everything clear, it's an allergy rash and 2 doctors agree that it's probably to the pregnancy. E45 is the best thing they can give me, it does nothing. Come on baby!

DH I know that feeling well, I'm amazed mine are intact too Grin
