Well I've just woken up... After going to sleep at 9am! I didn't sleep at all during the night & am soooo annoyed with DH for letting me sleep all day so I won't sleep tonight either! Sad

Sounds like everyone else has been making the most of the daylight hours! All this talk of scans & shopping is making me tired again! Wink

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 18:27

Have you got your scan date, jojo? Sorry I can't remember...

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 10/11/2012 18:51

Oh jojo how annoying for you.

Love the scan pics mrs I'm very much jealous not jealous at all.

Oh dear I'm crying at the polar express. I need help tissues.

Jojoba1986 · 10/11/2012 19:02

thund It's not till the 26th. Seems like forever away! I'm wondering about calling them & asking if they can bring it forward to put my mind at rest on the twin thing!

I had a dream that I was asleep when I was due to go for a scan so instead DH took some of my blood & somehow they could see the baby because of the sample & when I woke up I was devastated that everyone else had seen the 'scan' but no one would even confirm how many babies I was having! I was soooo furious because it was an early scan & it meant they'd cancelled the 12 weeks scan so we couldn't have the ds test and I'd have to wait till 20 weeks to find out if I was having twins! Hmm

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 22:38

Oh dear jojo, it will come round soon enough but the waiting is SO hard!

What a horrible dream too. I have dreams like that when things are taken out of your control and people know things that I don't. They make me so angry I usually wake up in a foul mood! Hope you do manage to get some sleep tonight.

Morning all. It is a very cold and frosty morning to be stood in a children's play park. Brrrr [frozen emoticon]

MrsBri · 11/11/2012 08:42

Get you...I'm still in bed for now. Need food though, so that won't last!

Thundernonk · 11/11/2012 08:44

I have just shouted a request for toast from warm bed and it looks like it might actually work...

OP posts:
Jojoba1986 · 11/11/2012 09:03

I'm eating (yes, eating. In the morning!) beans on toast in bed! I'm also planning to leave the house this morning! I planned to go out 2 weeks ago but nearly passed out just after getting dressed. I'm going to make it out the door & be a real person today though! It sounds like it's got a lot colder since I last went out. Is it ear-muff weather yet?

Thundernonk · 11/11/2012 09:09

Good work jojo! Yes it's bloomin freezing, you've missed autumn and we're in winter now. Wrap yourself up warm and get out to kick up some leaves while the sun shines!

peardrop2 · 11/11/2012 09:54

Morning! Wow managed to sleep in until 09:30!! JoJo good work with the beans on toast! Yum yum! Frus WHAT!!?!?! Why on earth did you go to a playground so early? Thun did you get your toast?

So yesterday I may have over done the shopping :-/ I brought 4 maternity tops from H&M, 3 new pairs of jeggins from Primemark in a bigger size then I currently have and 1 blouse that has room for a growing bump. Most of the tops are size small. These will get me through to January I reckon if bump bothers to appear and then I'll put them away until next autumn when hopefully ill be the same bump size hah hah I also brought a gorgeous jumpers from GAP in size medium which I'm really hoping lasts until Christmas. I did splash out on one really maternity smart top for when I'm a bit bigger a lot bigger

peardrop2 · 11/11/2012 10:10

I have to say though that H&M is a lot cheaper then Next so it's a good place to start and get your shopping for bump desire in control!

I've ordered hot cross buns in bed...they seem to be helping me with my little problem. Not the healthiest option I know :-(

It was a family meal celebration I attended last night. Two older sisters gave me a huge bag of reading books to read which was very kind and they both cooed over scan pictures. Other sister grumpy sister put on the fakest smile to DH which did not go down well but a fake smile is better then no smile?! My older sister gave me a plant and a mum to be card which totally makes up for grumpy sister. Really excited to see that they're being so supportive as they're a lot older then me (12yrs age gap) and I didn't have a lot in common with them until now.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 11/11/2012 10:10

Yay for shopping pear
I had to take DH to work, and whilst I had the kids up and dressed, it made sence to get them to run off some energy and make me feel better when I don't leave the house for the rest of the day and took them for a Macdonalds breakfast because I have no morals And now I'm going to watch cartoons for the rest of the day. Grin

peardrop2 · 11/11/2012 10:23

Ahh ok Frus that makes more sense!! As long as you purposely didn't get up early to torture yourself Wink

Jojoba1986 · 11/11/2012 10:25

My boobs are huuuuuge! Just squeezed them into a proper bra for the first time in ages & they're only just in there! Blush

peardrop2 · 11/11/2012 10:28

JoJo time to get measured?

MrsBri · 11/11/2012 10:44

Don't talk about boobs, mine are massive and really firm / heavy! And ouchy :-/

Thankfully, I lost a bit of boob last year when I lost weight, so I'm just filling my current bras for now. Won't be long before I need a re-measure though, I think!

DH loves them...I tell him to get off when he comes near, ha ha!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 11/11/2012 12:31

Sorry to interrupt boobage talk.
I've just heard from Thundernonk she had her scan this morning but they couldn't find a heartbeat. Sad lots of hugs Sad

MrsBri · 11/11/2012 12:39

Oh no :-( Poor Thunder.

I don't know what to say.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 11/11/2012 12:56

I know mrs it's just so unfair.

Jojoba1986 · 11/11/2012 13:02

Oh that's awful! Is she going to have another scan? I've heard of people being told they can't find a hb but finding one when they insist on a second scan! Confused

Multiple, huge, un-mn for thund Sad

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 11/11/2012 13:20

I don't know jojo she said she has to go and book in epac tomorrow, but didnt say what she measured at, (i can only presume that thats played a part). Sad

Thundernonk · 11/11/2012 15:12

Hi guys. Thanks for your hugs.

I'm home now. I have eaten a big box of sushi and have Brie and expensive wine breathing for later.

Not a good day. I won't give you details as I don't want to upset you, but within 2 seconds she knew something was up as the baby was small. I think it measured 10 weeks and I should be 12 tomorrow. off to clinic tomorrow, it looks like I'm going to have the op which is a general anasthetic etc. I'm pretty gutted about having to go through that on top of it all.

I'm ok though, hope you all are too. x

Jojoba1986 · 11/11/2012 19:36

Awww thund that sucks! It sounds like what my mum went through with her first pregnancy. She had a MMC at 10 weeks & didn't find out until her scan. It's got to be my biggest fear! Sad

I hope the sushi, brie & fancy wine helps to cheer you up a little bit! Do let us know how everything goes. Will be thinking of you. xx

Thundernonk · 11/11/2012 19:50

Thanks guys. I know this isn't how it works but if this happening to me means that none of you have to go through it, then I will gladly take it for the team so you can all have happy healthy pregnancies. I think I'm right in thinking I am probably better prepared for this than some others. I had a very strong feeling last week this might happen. I'll bounce back and be absolutely fine. I don't want to kill the bus conversation any more so please get back to talking about your expanding baps, I'll be happy for you all when you see healthy beans at your scans.

Love to all x
