I'm feeling sick again too! Sad

I like Levi John & Elizabeth (Libby) Alice. Totally outing myself now! All are family names in some way: Alice is my middle name, Elizabeth runs in my family - we have Betty, Liz, Beth, Lilli & a pet called Lizzie!, John is both of our fathers' middle names & Levi... Well... Both my grandmothers were called Jean so I want to name him after the pair of them...! Grin

MrsBri · 10/11/2012 07:37

Alice was my nan's name, but none of the others are family names, I just like them!

I've been awake since about 4 :-( Even snacking didn't help! Boo.

Probably subconsciously worrying about the scan. :-/

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 08:38

I've been awake since before 4 too. Rubbish.

Loving the Levi named after the pair of Jeans!

Morning Thunder...when does the insomnia end?! :-/

Just did two big sneezes and the round ligament pain was awful :-( I know having a permanent cold protects the baby, but I could do without the sneezing!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 10/11/2012 08:56

mrs the insomnia ends at about 9 months, then you'll be desperate to sleep and keep being woken up. Grin actually I think there is a few months in the middle that are okay

Morning all.

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 08:58

Morning.

I always have this kind of insomnia so I don't think mine will ever end. That one night sleep- through was such a wonderful and rare occurrence. Shame it never happened again!

MrsBri · 10/11/2012 11:24

I rarely sleep through, but this consistent 4am waking is bizarre in its regularity! And tiring.

Really nervous about the scan now...DH said just cancel it then. Like that wouldn't make it worse! Poor bloke can't win.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 10/11/2012 12:10

mrs 4am is universal baby waking time (along with 11 and 1.30)

pear I can safely say that you will need to go a size smaller on maternity. Got my work trousers today, I'm usually a 14, but they are a 12 and mahoosive, got loads of bump growing room.

MrsBri · 10/11/2012 12:26

That explains everything, Frustrated! Keeps me optimistic, albeit tired, when I'm woken up! :-)

And I can't wait to buy maternity stuff. So exciting.

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 13:00

Good luck again with scan nic, I totally understand the nerves, believe me!

Thank you :-)

Wedding photo prints have just arrived, which is exciting.

Bargain too, as we got 2x50 sets plus 9 extras, 8x6 inches, for 16 quid from Max Spielmann online. Would have been loads more in branch. Now to buy the two albums.

We are giving one set to mum and dad for Christmas. Since mum got ill, she doesn't go on the computer much, so it will be nice for her to have them to look at easily. Plus they spent thousands on the wedding, which they didn't have to.

God, getting weepy. Bloody hormones!!

bringonthetrumpets · 10/11/2012 13:43

Good luck on the scan Bri! Very excited to hear all about it!

Went to bed at 8. It was glorious! Woke up to two very rambunctious little men running their monster trucks on the hardwood floor and screaming at 6:45 Confused. Well, it was almost 12 hrs....

I concur with Frus 4 am is such a universal baby-waking time!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 10/11/2012 15:22

I just have to share that both of my dds have made me proud today. (For completely different reasons) I could almost a cry that'll be the hormones

Oooh mrs is having her scan. I'm so jealous.

MrsBri · 10/11/2012 15:27

Well...just the one baby! Almost 2cm long. Wriggly bugger with heartbeat of 170.

Cried a little tear!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 10/11/2012 15:53

Oo oo ooh. Bless you mrs did they look for your triplets? Grin

MrsBri · 10/11/2012 15:55

They did...and didn't find them, thank god!

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 17:36

Fantastic news, nic that's so cool. Must be a lovely feeling now!

OP posts:
MrsBri · 10/11/2012 17:45

I'm happier, and cautiously optimistic. :-) Amazing to see a living being inside you!

peardrop2 · 10/11/2012 17:55

Sorry only just logged in as have been shopping with two teenage nieces all day which was very eventful! Yay Nicola that's brilliant news! How do you feel now you've seen the bean? Have you got some good pictures of it? Can you see arms and legs yet? What can you see!! Very happy that you can finally believe you're deffinately pregnant Wink

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 17:56

Eventful pear? What happened?

OP posts:
MrsBri · 10/11/2012 17:59

You can see a bean-shaped shape! And the heartbeat was pointed out to us, as was the developing umbilical cord and yolk sac. I was told I have a good yolk sac, which is encouraging!

And two teenage girls? Bet that was fun! :-)

peardrop2 · 10/11/2012 17:59

They just wanted to go to every shop in town :-) I forgot how tiring full on shopping is and now I have 15 minutes to get ready to go out again not fit for this lifestyle anymore Hmm

peardrop2 · 10/11/2012 18:00

Ahhh that's lovely. Did they date you different?

Thundernonk · 10/11/2012 18:02

Oh I thought you were going to say you went into your own shopping frenzy and treated yourself pear

Good work on making a good yolk sac, nic

OP posts:
MrsBri · 10/11/2012 18:05

Bloody hell, Pear, rather you than me! I can barely face doing 1 thing, let alone 2...still not sure how I'll get through the work Christmas party on 7th (and how to hide not drinking!). Hope you don't go sleep wherever you're going later :-)

The date I was given was 21st June, but a bit early to really be definitive!

I've added the scan shots to my profile.
