camb I bought those vits too - they seem pretty comprehensive!
tash your post has basically summed me up (except no X-rays to run from here!) can't wait for my early scan!

Isitme1 · 14/11/2012 16:46

Any advice for the feeling sick nearly all the time. Annd I feel really full but hungry? ? Hmm
I didn't have this with ds.
Will read the thread so I get to know you allx

orangebubbles · 14/11/2012 17:08

Isitme I'll have some of that sickness! On a serious note I had that feeling full but hungry and sick thing the first time and I found banana's helped to easer the hunger feelings and nibbling carb's (gingernut biscuits and cream crackers) for the sickness.

Still no symptoms here and I'm really starting to fret, I hope this one is ok but I am a bit worried. I am feeling tired and up until today have been napping! But nothing else at all! Waiting for these scans is going to feel like an eternity!

missmaybe · 14/11/2012 17:19

orange I don't have an abundance of symptoms - and my bloating has actually decreased suddenly since yesterday Confused .. And my nausea is mild and random - almost as if I am imagining it?!! And could just be caused by my lack of sleep..

So don't worry. As I said earlier my mum says she almost had zero symptoms and I was the result!
I know the symptoms are comforting though at this early stage.

Anyone else looking forward to a bump?

Guavasforbreakfast · 14/11/2012 17:42

Thundercatz I'm the same with the mild nausea that may or may not be imagined - I've been told by a pregnant friend that its prob too early and 'I'll know' when it hits! And yes, very much looking forward to the bump - a much nicer sign of it being real than sickness :-)

Is time going r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w-l-y for everyone else too? I got my BFP 9 days ago and it feels like I've been counting days for a million years! 6+0 tomorrow which feels like some sort of milestone.

I'm glad I'm not alone with the lack of convincing symptoms I'm having. At the moment, definite symptoms = sore breasts on & off, lots of saliva, and occasional period pain-like cramping which settles very quickly. Otherwise I just feel like me, but a bit more tired (which is probably related to going cold turkey from my regular morning espresso). A bump would be something nice and definite, but it feels a long way off at the moment!

I'm desperately trying to hold off peeing on the one remaining pregnancy test I have just to reassure myself! On the plus side I have had no sniff of any bleeding at all so fingers crossed it's all good in there. Early scan on Monday at 6+4 so not too long to wait.

photographerlady · 14/11/2012 18:47

Slouching I hear you. I had my BFP last Wednesday and its been the longest week of my life. Start of week 5 tomorrow and off to tell my GP. 3 weeks til my scan I hope time speeds up soon.

BooStar · 14/11/2012 18:49

Hello! Got my bfp this morning, v.excited and a little nervous (had a MMC in April). If this one sticks it will be my second, I have a 2yr2mth old DS.
Mumsnet antenatal really helped me through my first pregnancy - although that seems like a long time ago now!!

Will someone add me to the list I dont know how to copy n paste on new phone lol. Due 23rd
Thanks x

Bodice · 14/11/2012 19:57

Burst into hysterical tears when I realised someone had thrown away my lunch out of the fridge today because I didn't label it properly (we had run out of sellotape!!!!). Well I was really looking forward to it!!! Luckily I was on my own so no one saw. But hubby had to calm me down on the phone. Think hormones are sending me crazy!

firstpost · 14/11/2012 20:04

Well, my levels are not quite doubling :( They were 10,700 two days ago so should be 21,400 but are 18,00 instead. Its not the best sign.

On the other hand the dr saw a tiny flickering heatbeat (can't say I saw it) So that is a good sign.

Think I will keep off the list for now

Bodice · 14/11/2012 20:15

Firstpost - Don't worry about your levels. you can forget about the levels, once you get a heartbeat. They don't mean jack anymore! Heartbeat trumps everything! xx

Persuasion · 14/11/2012 20:19

Had a littlew spotting over the weekend, so went to GP on monday, and for an early scan, and there's a baby, with a heartbeat! Measuring 6+2 but dating 7 (although I tend to ovulate a bit late so think it was prob 6+5), and apparently can be up to a week out with dates at this stage withough worrying. The spotting has stopped but I do panic every time I get a little twinge though, fingers crossed they're "stretching" twinges. So now I'm adding myself too:

elliejjtiny · 14/11/2012 21:00

yy to time going slowly. I always find that. But after the birth I'm sobbing because suddenly I only remember the good bits about pregnancy and birth and want to do it all over again Grin

Thinkingof4 · 14/11/2012 21:29

Wow some amazing stories on here, very emotional reading your story firstpost and I really hope things keep going the right way for you.

I'm feeling a bit paranoid at my lack of solid symptoms, occasional nausea and persistent tiredness but with ds3 up during night that's normal for me. Aargh it's so nerve wracking at this stage, in my prev missed mc I lost my nausea so I'm worried things are going the same way. I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow so would fully expect to be puking daily by now or at least feeling really sick as I have done with prev babies. Scan not till 24th so ages away, kind of wishing I'd gone for 7 week scan but probably too late to change it now so I'll just have to be patient.

My belly is growing though, that's for sure Blush

MrsWildermac · 14/11/2012 22:14

Totally agree...feels like time is standing still...still only 4+6. I suppose it doesn't help that I found out 4 days before AF was due!

Told my immediate family yesterday and are going away next weekend with DH's so will tell them then.

Not feeling an abundance of symptoms here either...hoping all is ok!

Glup · 14/11/2012 22:42

Golly, erm, hullo! It's taken me ages to read through this thread, but I reckon I'm up to date now. Some really lovely stories.

I'm not really sure how pregnant I am, to be honest. I'm another one who suddenly just started feeling a bit funny then realised I hadn't had my period for a while.....but on a bit of guess work, I think I'm due on 3rd July.

This is my second baby (MCs before, though) and I had an awful first pregnancy, so I'm quite nervous. It was so bad, I really didn't want to get pregnant again (though I wanted another baby), so I think I've been in real denial for the past few weeks. However, if my dates are right, then things are already looking up as my morning sickness is not as bad as the first time.

Just managed to spill beans to 3 mums in my village. We are all going out on Saturday and I piped up that I could drive as "I wasn't drinking much these days" - doh! Then when they all cocked heads and asked me why My mind went totally blank.
But it's made me think why do we keep it a secret til 12 weeks? I understand keeping it from work, but if I do lose this one, I will want some tea and sympathy from those around me?

Anyhoo - thank you missmaybe for adding me to the list - i think I'd better get on and call the MW for a booking in appt. it feels like DC2 is going to be a lot less organised a pregnancy than the first! Keep having to work out where I am (5+0), whereas last time I had it all planned out. Can't find my pregnancy book for piles old DS's stuff

MysteriousNameChange · 14/11/2012 23:21

firstpost the levels start slowing down after the first few weeks - you can read about it online. I think it slows to doubling every 72 hours, and your numbers are so close that's absolutely fine.

I really wouldn't worry about numbers now you've seen a heartbeat :)

photographerlady · 15/11/2012 06:14

Morning ladies. Whoa I went to bed at 7:30 last night and slept to 6am. I feel like a zombie but need to stop typing from bed and get ready cause its my GP appointment in an hour :)

SlouchingPanda · 15/11/2012 06:47

Morning! 6+0 today! Whoop!

I cracked and POAS this morning. I was so desperate not to turn into a crazy POAS lady too. Guess what? It was positive. Really thick line bigger than the control one. Ha - take that, lack of symptoms! Bet I will now be struck by incapacitating morning sickness and enormous veiny boobs.

Firstpost - they look for a rise of 60% or more, and your figures give just over 59% so don't lose hope. Hope you will be adding yourself to the list soon.

Photographer good luck at the GP today. I'll ne ringing the MW later.
