Morning ladies!
10 that sounds horrible, and it does put you in a difficult position, but I completely get it if you're mediating and the trusted adviser. But I don't think any good friend would want to see you so upset at your surroundings you're weeping in the loos. I'm always very sensitive about how other people might be feeling, and the other day someone said something very wise to me - she said: 'You just haven't realised yet that the someone else you have to think about most it right there inside you.' The way you feel in those awful, panic-attack inducing situations is a protection mechanism for little bub. Do yourself, and baby, a favour and avoid them. Your friends will understand.
Terra I soooo want a cheese and onion pasty now. That's gone and done it. How can I be living in South London and NOT be near a Greggs? That's almost prehistoric. What about you, Little - you're a fellow pasty-craver
Completely forgot to tell you this awful story when I posted my scan news the other day. I was at King's and waiting for DH to arrive pre-scan and, as usual, needed to go to the loo.
So I went to the ladies just inside the doors and was quite happily sitting there doing my business, pants around my ankles, when I suddenly had this weird feeling that I was being watched (I know, crazy...).
Anyway, I looked up and one of the roof tiles in the ceiling was propped open. I saw a quick flash of movement and the tile dropped back into place....!!!
I was like,
....
Went to the on-site security office to complain and the woman in there said they had builders in and that there should have been a warning notice on the toilet door! I pointed out to her quite angrily that if they knew the builders were going to be peeping in on the ladies loos perhaps they should close them.
Not a great way to start a scan experience....and I'm convinced the builders were just being disgusting.
urgh.
13+0 today!! Cheerio first trimester!
