There's been action all round here today.
Barbeasty Hope that you and your DD are OK. It amazes me how people just don't look when they're in a car!! Hope you have a good time at the wedding tomorrow too
Stacey Your MIL was very thoughtless, but I'm sure it doesn't mean that she's not excited about the baby. I've told my family they aren't getting Christmas presents this year. How do you think she's take that?
There's no right or wrong time to have a baby, you just have to do your best with the hand you've been dealt. Hope your aches ease soon.
Flumpy you've been offered some really good advice here. I think it would be wise to follow it.
Seconds Your midwife only gave you half the advice!! You're supposed to keep your legs together when you're doing things as well, like getting in and out of bed and the car. Also, keeping asymmetric movements, like going up and down stairs to a minimum. Most of the the treatment for SPD/PGP is about limiting the damage with advice about movement, they can only treat the joints if they are misaligned or the muscles if they are in spasm. I've given myself, as of now, 6 extra weeks mobility to last time, by following the advice about movement. It is a bit of extra faff, I often have to park miles away so that I can open the door fully to get in and out, but I guess that's good practice for being full term when you really can't squeeze out of the car
I'm collecting my pram tomorrow, very excited. Only a few more bits to get and then we're set.
