I noticed naughty talk of opks and doing the deed on set days on the jsing thread.

CuriosityColaKilledTheCat · 31/10/2012 20:36

Good on you for sorting out your referral yourself pineapple.

Pineapple80 · 31/10/2012 21:33

curiosity- I think it's important to persevere if you haven't received the service you deserve. I actually called the antenatal dept of the hospital twice before I got some proper help! First time around the person at hospital just said nope we don't have your form, check with your GP (GP already faxed twice). I thought, gee you're helpful (not!) and decided to call again and repeat my request and this other person was lovely & helpful & also advised of the self referral.

I don't know, maybe I'm just obsessive & need things done now & properly? Blush

Anyway, I'm shattered & cant keep my eyes open im going to bed! Grin

After risking the rain to take the DD's round the block trick or treating I've been up all night with them both being sick! Felt a bit queasy myself but kept it down, I'll blame my sister and her 2 boys sharing their germs from last week!

tiredteddy · 01/11/2012 09:49

Oh no! Poor you LIVISMUM (my phone auto-corrects you to capitals everytime, you are obviously a VIP) Wink

Hope it's just a 24 hr thing.

Kittenkatzen · 01/11/2012 09:55

WingDefence · 01/11/2012 10:04

Haha - sorry Kitten Blush I just didn't want to be the grad who came back onto the fred and started lecturing you all on the rools of JSing! Grin

Livi that's nasty - I really really hope you don't catch anything. Keep your fluids up just in case.

Kittenkatzen · 01/11/2012 10:19

Hello to Manda!

Pineapple80 · 02/11/2012 15:23

Hi ladies, do any of you suffer from bloating or wind? I have noticed it this week quite a lot. My skirts and trousers feel tighter. In the morning there is no bloating & look relatively normal.

I'm only 6 weeks so def not showing as such yet , but have read that it is all possibly digestion related? Ho hum. Any advice appreciated, thanks! Smile

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 02/11/2012 15:41

I have both of these! I find its worse if I eat a big portion so my meals are kid sized at the moment!

I find peppermint tea helps a bit and I know that drinking plenty of water to keep everything moving is recommended. I'm 15 weeks and still getting it but its easier now I've modified what/how much I eat. It's due to all the lovely pregnancy hormones relaxing your digestive tract...oh the joys. Still it does stop me pigging out!

Pineapple80 · 02/11/2012 15:53

Hi guiness! Come to think of it, I do tend to have decent sized lunch or dinner and then get all bloated Sad. I may try your method of smaller portions though, this bloating is crazy right now! Thanks for your insight Grin

tiredteddy · 02/11/2012 19:27

Well my new and oh so exciting pregnancy symptom is... Cramp! Rubbish, the past three nights in a row, in my right calf muscle. My leg aches.

mandasand · 02/11/2012 20:16

tired bananas supposed to be v.g. for cramp! (potassium) xx
