Glad to hear your mum is home tired.

No real arguments here this morning, though my 14 month old is in the mother of all moods. We think he must be coming down with something. Dh and I have spent the morning trying fruitlessly to keep him happy. He in turn has walked around picking up his toys, throwing them and generally shouting lots.

Dh and I normally have the what can we fit into the weekend argument, but have mostly just been asking each other what can we do with our ds and getting the giggles. He is currently looking grumpy sitting in a cardboard box (amazon delivery) whilst watching cbeebies Hmm

tiredteddy · 27/10/2012 10:44

wing biscuits and bed, I'm Envy !

curiosity keep DS in the box all day! Grin

CuriosityColaKilledTheCat · 27/10/2012 10:57

wing I'm quite Envy too. Hope you feel better after a nice snooze.

StuckInTheFensAwayFromHome · 27/10/2012 15:20

Great news tired

Hope it sorts out easily wing - know what you mean about weekends and having time to talk can end up in allsorts - we had our first 'panic - our lives are really going to change' row yesterday, but we've made up today and there's been plenty of JS!

something that sounds scary - but hopefully exercises will help. I want to stick my fingers in my ears and close my eyes to all the things that pregnancy and childbirth are going to do to my body!

horse really sorry - sounds like your DH is doing all the right things and hope to have you back soon

and hello and waves to everyone else I haven't namechecked since my last post - but this may get a bit long if I tried to do that!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend - nice and sunny here but not really in the mood to do much - so have been watching the F1 and now messing on MN!

StuckInTheFensAwayFromHome · 27/10/2012 15:22

oops I seem to have missed the last page - cola your ds sounds cute - I think being pg is finally making me feel gooey over babies... I keep saying that I would like to fast forward about 2-3 years now and have some toddlers/pre-schoolers to play with rather than a baby!

WingDefence · 27/10/2012 17:22

Well we have sort of made up now after an afternoon of not really speaking. I may delete the post above as it's not really fair on DH to have our dirty laundry aired in public!

17 weeks today! Less than 3 weeks till we hopefully find out what we're having!![hgrin]

somethingwittynot · 27/10/2012 19:12

im ill ds is ill dp is a twunt

tiredteddy · 27/10/2012 19:12

Ahhh glad things have improved wing don't worry if we can't moan and vent here, what's mumsnet for? Grin

WingDefence · 27/10/2012 19:27

True tired.

Something, what's your DP done - or is it what he hasn't done ie been looking after you and DS?

Stuck you are so brave with all the JSing. I still just don't really fancy it and I know lots of ladies get insatiable in pregnancy with all the hormones and engorged bits and whatnot. Bit sad that DH is missing out but I'm not going to JS just for the sake of it thankyouverymuch!

Curiosity hope your DS stopped playing up and you all had a good day in the end?

MrsBri · 27/10/2012 19:31

I'm with you, Wing, no JSing in my household either. For which I get stick! Told him I'll consider it after the first scan :-)

What's your DP done, something?

CuriosityColaKilledTheCat · 27/10/2012 19:45

Thanks wing. We had a good day, but he has been mischief all day. He ruined my Peace lily plant tonight as he decided to use it as a chair. It now has a big squashed section of leaves.

My nausea has been terrible today. Don't feel like I want to be physically sick, but it's like I have just stepped off a boat. Envy(my face, not envy). The only thing that cures it is eating...preferably pizza.

How is everyone else's symptoms?

Glad most arguments have been resolved. Hope you and ds feel better soon something and dh starts behaving.

CuriosityColaKilledTheCat · 27/10/2012 19:46

stuck despite ds going through the terrible two stage early, this age is lots of fun. It's great fun playing games and chasing him about the park. Won't be long until you have your own bundle of energy! Smile

tiredteddy · 28/10/2012 08:36

Morning all! How's the sickness this morning curiosity ? are you feeling any better something ?

WingDefence · 28/10/2012 09:28

Morning! DS woke up as normal (6:45) as per the clock so all of us are in much better this morning!

Shame the weather's a bit pants though but we can't have everything an we [hgrin]

Have you all got fab days planned? We're off to church then a lazy afternoon hopefully. I may take DS out for a rainy walk later depending my mood when the footy is on.

WingDefence · 28/10/2012 09:32

*Better moods. Dur!

tiredteddy · 28/10/2012 12:09

Hi wing hope church was good. Ds1 is out at a party, ds2 is downstairs playing. DH is taking rubbish to the tip and I am re organising the playroom... Yuck job! I really must dust more often I'm actually sneezing Blush

Pineapple80 · 28/10/2012 14:37

Hello ladies! Hope you're all having good weekends! I can't believe it is almost over.

Been a pretty lazy and relaxing weekend for DH and I. Cannot complain!

I have been starting to feel nauseous since last week, not actual being sick but always queasy. Any tips on combatting this or is it just something I have to deal with? Smile. I'm finding ginger sweets help a little.

Glad to hear weekend rows are resolved, also common with us here, sometimes inevitable! Sad

Wishing you all an enjoyable rest of the weekend ladies Grin

MrsBri · 28/10/2012 14:51

Hi Pineapple! I've started with queasiness today. Almost think it is in my head as it has appeared bang on 6 weeks, as 'they' say it is likely to. But I'm definitely feeling odd.

Such bad lower back ache that I almost can't feel the cramps any more!

If someone does have a sickness cure, I'll take it :-)

Pineapple80 · 28/10/2012 16:29

Hi mrsbri! I don't think it's in your head! I can relate to feeling odd like you mentioned, it's like you're not feeling your normal self is how I'd describe it. I hope your backache subsides and you're not feeling too rough Smile.

I ate lunch and feel better, I think eating helps in my case, funnily enough!

MrsBri · 28/10/2012 17:06

That is exactly it! Nasty taste in my mouth too. Nothing tastes quite right. :-/

But food does help the ickiness, definitely. Just an excuse to graze often, ha ha!

somethingwittynot · 28/10/2012 17:08

thanks for asking guys feel crap had the runs all day the backche that makes you feel like your in early labour and bh/tightnings.

dp is being good considering he was being a total cock about everything yesterday

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 28/10/2012 19:15

Glad your dp is being better today something.

Sorry to hear about your quesiness MrsBri and Pineapple - grazing was helped me, that and extra strong mints, I went through tubes and tubes of them!

I've been feeling really rubbish this weekend, had a very mild version of the tummy bug that seems to be going around. I know I am really lucky to not have had it bad. Am absolutely exhausted now though!

Went to a Pampered Chef mini conference thing yesterday which was great despite feeling delicate. Then went to church this morning, did chores this afternoon and helped at afternoon creche for a church course thing. Been a busy weekend all in all, can't believe its Monday again tomorrow [sigh].

Got anything interesting planned for your weeks ahead?

WingDefence · 28/10/2012 20:33

Evening all [hsmile]

We had a lazy afternoon today after a loooong church service this morning. Made some yummy biscuits for our friend's 15th birthday with DS (from Jo Wheaton's book, if any of you watched GBBO last year) then watched Man Utd win a controversial match (hurrah) and dealt with some, frankly quite shitty, family issues. Argh! [hangry]

I always have low blood pressure but I actually feel buzzing/stressed about it tonight which is pants as I'll be up at 5:20 tomorrow to catch the red-eye train down to London for my meeting.

Aaaaanyway, I hope all of you who are feeling ill at the moment feel lots better very soon, whether pregnancy-related or not! I think with nausea they say eat little and often. When I had it in the mornings as long as I could get a banana inside me I was fine after that. Oh and not MNing in the car (while DH was driving, not me!) also helped.

Right, I'd better get my bag packed for tomorrow. Take care all of you lovely ladies.

somethingwittynot · 29/10/2012 07:58

last night while dp and ds were sleeping i spent some time just feeling and watching bump move it was lush

Pineapple80 · 29/10/2012 09:21
