Oh hello woman and how are you? X

AWomanCalledHorse · 15/10/2012 19:59

very early days pregnant (3wks 5days!) so thought I'd pop over here (as, either way, it's nice to catch up with everyone).

tiredteddy · 15/10/2012 20:12

suprise this time and i dont have an anterior placenta

tiredteddy · 15/10/2012 20:37

Just a nice quiet little bubba then hey something peaceful already. Might bode well for sleeping afterwards. Baby tired can now kick me firmly in the ribs and likes 10pm best as exercise time!

ChildOfThe1980s · 15/10/2012 20:47

Welcome woman :)

AWomanCalledHorse · 15/10/2012 21:21

something, sounds good...is baby measuring short or slim?

Not as early as I thought, put my last period & cycle length into many, many due date calculators & now I'm apparently 4wks 5days....guess who is going to buy a digital test tomorrow Grin

Could someone who is fb friends with me add me to the group Manda set up? (picture of a brown rabbit).

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 15/10/2012 23:20

Woman how exciting to see you! Huge congratulations. I'm still waiting to find out how pregnant I am! Scan next week so all should become clear then I suppose...

Glad the scan went well Something.

Thanks for the encouragement Manda, I think I've been building my PhD up in my head so tomorrow is Operation Scaledown!

Right, going to find everyone on FB then sleep time for me. Night!

mandasand · 15/10/2012 23:48

Guinea I think you just FB-friended me?! But I don't want to get you confused with friends from my other MN-FB group so sent you/the person a message to confirm! Woman send me your details (RL name and FB profile pic) if you need me to add you to the group tmrw.

Night all xx

PS Guinea good luck with Operation Scaledown!! My PhD supervisor told me that my original idea for the thesis would be the Big Book I'd write in my retirement, ha! I think she's right! My PhD thesis in the end was so lean there was practically nothing to it (I had to submit it v. quickly to take up an offered postdoc) which is why it took so damn long to turn it into a more interesting and substantial book Smile

AWomanCalledHorse · 16/10/2012 13:18

something, when's your next scan? I know you're staying team yellow but do you have an idea either way?
I 'knew' DS was a boy to the point where I was buying boys clothes!

manda, I'll pm you now, thanks!

tired, do not envy 10pm rib kicking! DS was a 3am kicker...so hoping to get this one trained (there must be a way to do it)!

My 1st trimester sleepiness hasn't kicked in yet, I know each pg is different but can't help but worry!
For those with other kids, how different have you found your 2nd pg so far?

somethingwittynot · 16/10/2012 14:31

ChildOfThe1980s · 16/10/2012 15:56

Woman I'm sure I've been more sick this time. Also everything is much scarier, I know that things can go wrong, whereas with my first pregnancy I was very naive.

Practisingparent · 17/10/2012 20:02

Hi all. I d like to join the fb group too. I cant promise Il check in much tho, pretty lax with my page, have not updated in a while.

Good to hear from you woman, congrats.

Had my scan on tuesday, and all is well with little one. definately think Im having a boy this time, but not fussed if Im wrong. Had to try the whole elastic band round the trouser button today, my belly's definately growing! Anyone else completely gone off js? DH complains the lat time was when we concieved! (ITS NOT)

MrsBri · 18/10/2012 08:51

Hi...tentative joining here too. I think most of you know me as NicolaHazel from the previous thread and I found out I'm pregnant last Thursday and got married last Saturday, so life is changing rapidly!

Bit scared right now, but hoping that will pass.

Also more thirsty than I ever knew it possible to be!

And congrats, Woman, you finally believe it is true?! :-)

Hope you're all well!

tiredteddy · 18/10/2012 12:42

practising glad scan was ok and little one is growing well.

mrsbri welcome! Congrats.

AWomanCalledHorse · 19/10/2012 08:03

something, can I ask where you get your private scans done (pm or fb if you like), I've googled & it gives me either Thamesmead or Tunbridge (I think you're in that neck of the woods)?
You have my sympathies with the sore nipples!

Child, we told family just after poas last time, this time around we're waiting another few weeks...feels like ages away!

Practising, good to hear the scan went well! And that you're getting a belly!

at MrsBri, are you still on honeymoon?

I've just realised I won't be eating pate at Christmas. Damn!
Did a digital & it's put me at 4ish weeks, Doctors on Monday!

What's everyone upto at the weeekend?

MrsBri · 19/10/2012 08:38

Hi Woman! :-) I'm disappointed about pate and cheese too! :-/ I think it'll be worth it though.

Yes, still on honeymoon :-) Just getting ready to go on a full day trip. Packing enough food for an army for me!

What's your due date, do you know yet? I'm seeing the nurse on Tuesday.

Exciting times ahead for all of us :-)

tiredteddy · 19/10/2012 09:06

Good news= it's ds2 birthday. He's 5 and very happy with his LeapPad!

Bad news= my mum is having a big operation today and I was suck I feel do worried about her.

Enjoy your honeymoon mrsbri where are you?

woman never mind pate and cheese chocolate and cake are good replacements! Grin

AWomanCalledHorse · 19/10/2012 09:13

Have fun today MrsBri!
No idea about the due date as my cycles are odd, internet estimators say I'm between 3-6weeks, think I'm probably around 4wks 6days, how about you?

tired, I went off chocolate last time & really haven't started enjoying it again so no chocolate for me! My waist line will be happy!
Happy Birthday DS2!
Fingers crossed your mum's op goes well, when will she be out of surgery? x
