When you're feeling a bit stronger, I'd seriously think about putting a complaint that doctor. How dare he imply it's your fault?! Angry on your behalf. Make sure you take it easy and make sure DH is caring for you.

threefeethighandrising · 27/08/2012 15:43

MrsTwinks I'm so sorry for your loss. Sad

Sending you hugs.

timetomoveon · 27/08/2012 15:55

MrsTwinks - so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself x

I've got a scan tmrw - should be 7+6 I think, so there should be a heartbeat. Nervous but trying not to be.

I've felt so absolutely shocking all weekend that it has to be ok, right?!? Have alternately been vomitting, crying, sleeping and eating in what seem like equal measures.

Teapig · 27/08/2012 16:10

So sorry to hear your sad news MrsTwinks. What an awful doctor, I had a very insensitive nurse when I went through mc and know upsetting that can be, try to ignore it.

Take good care of yourself, sending bug hugs xx

blondecat · 27/08/2012 16:47

So sorry Mrs Twinks I know how you feel.
Please take me off the stats if I was even included. The spotting turned to bleeding Saturday night, got worse through Sunday with cramps and headache

I knew I was losing it and I knew there was nothing to be done. DH took me to the mountains to change my mind and we drove through a lovely Alpine pass, with my daughter squeaking in the back every time she saw a cow. There was a lot of cows. Sunday night I lost it. Med helpline from insurance suggested I go to A&E but luckily my ob-gyn stopped me and had me come in today. D&C booked tomorrow so that we avoid the 1 1/2 month long process like last time.

Everyone tells me to be happy it happened so early. Yes it's a blessing of sorts but, heavens, it's a well disguised one. What I hate are suggestions that it's so early I am silly to grieve. That it was just a lump of cells. It was my baby, my potential spring baby, my April angel. And I don't even have anything to bury.

Good luck everyone and I hope you all have fantastic little ones come spring

HiHowAreYou · 27/08/2012 16:52

So sorry to hear your news Mrs Twinks. :(

LoobyLou33 · 27/08/2012 17:03

Oh mrstwinks and blondecat that's very sad news. Sad No one should suggest how you ought to feel about, or tread on your feelings either. Hugs all round.

Mama1980 · 27/08/2012 17:05

Oh mrs twinks and blonde cat Sad I'm so very very sorry for your losses. Xxx

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 27/08/2012 17:08

Wow, it has taken me an age to catch up in the posts since I was last here.

MrsTwinks so sorry, and how dare that awful doctor make you feel like that! Angry

I've got my apt with the doctor tomorrow morning, so hopefully he should be able to arrange the appointment for an early scan, feels like I've been waiting an age.

Symptoms have been kicking in, although I can have good days and pretty damn awful days. So far, I've been lucky I haven't actually chucked up yet, but the nausea flattens me, that I wish I could actualy throw up. When I get my appetite back I pig out like theres no tomorrow, but unfortunately I go straight for the carbs! I've been taking loads of fruit to work to try and get some vitamins in me, but end up reaching for something really bad for me instead and brininging the fruit back home with me.!

Seems odd to have such a quiet, alcohol free bank holiday weekend, but tbh I haven't been up for going anywhere, been quite happy staying at home, watching rubbish!

Has anyone else been getting aching muscles in your lower belly? Every so often, for the last week especially if I sneeze, cough or stand up quickly, I get a twinge pretty much where the tops of my legs meet my abdomen!

8+4 :)

Giddypants · 27/08/2012 17:37

So so sorry blondcat and mrstwinksI don't think there is anything anyone can say to make things better, take care of your selves x

alwayshopeful13 · 27/08/2012 18:18

blondcat I'm so sorry. Just allow yourself time to deal with this however you need to. Hope you are surrounded by warmth and love xxxx

MrsSimkins · 27/08/2012 18:22

I'm so so sorry Mrstwinks and blondcat be strong. I understand you may not want to stay on this thread but if you need a rant to some understanding ears we'll all be here for you.
Big hugs xxx

EssexWelsh · 27/08/2012 18:36

Sorry to hear that mrstwinks and blondecat. You are absolutely in your rights to grieve as you wish, it is devastating and even knowing for just a few weeks, gives you the most love for your little baby, so take your time and best of luck for another sticky bean soon.

Teapig · 27/08/2012 19:20

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news blondcat. Take time to grieve, an early loss is devastating. Keep strong and look after yourself, sending you hugs xx

HaveALittleFaith · 27/08/2012 19:43

I'm really sorry blondcat. You still have the right and need to grieve you loss. When my friend lost her baby (at term), they released a Chinese latern, just to have a symbolic memory of their daughter. It might help to commemorate your baby - it was your baby, no matter how far along your were.

angeltattoo · 27/08/2012 19:54

So sorry for sad news Sad xx

I have just had a scan, 7 weeks today, heartbeat seen, but irregular shaped sac, so happy to have seen HB, but now worried about the gestational sac and what that could mean...

Teapig · 27/08/2012 20:35

Great news you saw a heartbeat angle. Did they say there's anything to worry about with an irregular shaped sac? If you have heartbeat sounds like the little bean is developing well. Fx for you.

angeltattoo · 27/08/2012 20:50

She just said it's very early pregnancy, so now I am over thinking and worried! I.e. She wasn't too reassuring, kept saying how early it is...now I cannot decide if I am more or less worried than before!

I have googled it, but am not googling anymore, as you can imagine what I saw...

Eek, i will get NHS scan at 12 + 5, nearly 6 weeks away, it seems so far off...

Will try to think positive and not worry, but I have a wedding next weekend amd I know people will know, and I really only want people to know if I know I will be okay, if that makes sense...

bunnygirl80 · 27/08/2012 22:00

Sorry for your losses mrstwinks and blondecat

edinfirst · 27/08/2012 22:24

So sorry to hear your news blondecat and mrstwinks. Nothing anyone can say will get anywhere near your pain; take the time you need to live through what you are feeling and don't let anyone tell you different.

I will have a bash at updating the stats tomorrow on my lunchbreak (unless anyone's already started/loves a list/has insomnia!). Also, is it 999 messages per thread? Guessing a few people will want to get in touch with blondecat and mrstwinks tonight/tomorrow so we may need to start a new one soon if it is.

enjay0811 · 27/08/2012 22:58

So sorry blondecat, hope ur family continue to support you through this horrible time.

Since spotting on Fri and again yday, nothing today so takin it as a good sign. Seems to happen when I'm rushing around or picking the kids up lots etc..does anyone know if rest is advised when early spotting happens? Been absolutely shattered last 2 days so wouldn't argue if so! Had to force myself to eat too, soo not hungry.

Lola06 · 28/08/2012 00:11

Have set up new thread just in case this one explodes over 999! At least we'll have a home to go to. New list added at the start, and problems just change.

Lola06 · 28/08/2012 00:12

*any problems just change them. Damn phone!!

JaquelineHyde · 28/08/2012 00:17

Here's a linky to the new thread.

JaquelineHyde · 28/08/2012 00:18

Lets make sure we fill this one up first though shall we...waste not want not and all that Grin
