dandelion congrats on your scan, you must be over the moon Smile

babyjames fingers crossed your scan brings good news

I'm another one in favour of staying as a big group. In my experience on the Nov 2010 thread, numbers tend to slim down as some people stop posting for various reasons. Some of them possibly even went to other parenting websites Shock Grin

My nausea seems to be easing up slightly. Eating white toast with heaps of butter seems to help, and I managed about 5 hours yesterday without wanting to vomit, which is a personal best Grin Nausea has been replaced by one extremely sore boob. My left boob feels like it's going to explode, while the right feels completely normal. Hope this doesn't mean I end up with one even more massive one and one normal sized one!

babyjames · 18/08/2012 11:24

Hi all,

Thanks for your well wishes. I'm still spotting which sucks :( Came home from the hospital in the end as waited 6 hours in 2nd hospital with no sign of being seen! I needed to sleep! They said that the Early Pregnancy Unit will call Monday. This sucks!

So sorry to hear you also have brown discharge Camel - this may fit in time with your usual period? Mine too late for that.

Have to go to the wedding today as feel bad they paid for meal. May keep my mind off stuff I guess. Will come home if it gets worse.

Lola06 · 18/08/2012 12:15

Aw babyjames sorry you didn't get seen. Maybe taking your mind off it at the wedding will help. Will keep fingers and toes crossed it's all fine for you.

I just got letters through the door with my first midwife app on 2nd sept and first scan on 5th sept. By my calculations I'll be 9+6 on day of scan. Is this a little early? This is our first Dc so it's all new to us. As this is the '12 week' scan are we then safe, or as safe as can be, to tell people after that if all goes well.

Sorry girls freaking out for no reason here and debating about whether to cancel private early scan for next Saturday as it's now only 10 days before actual midwife scan.

Teapig · 18/08/2012 18:19

Checking back in after a couple of days of birthday partying. Fortunately all my friends were by my (virgin) mojitos and 'rose' wine (raspberry and apple juice).

Sorry to hear you didn't get seen babyjames, try not to worry though know how hard that it is. Sending you lots of sticky bean vibes.

So pleased for you Dandelion! Congrats to all new joiners and those with recent scans.

I'm 4+5 today and still have no symptoms which I'm (unsuccessfully) trying not to worry about so completely understand your concerns Deekey and Lola. To add to my worry I carried some shopping yesterday which in hindsight was quite heavy and I managed to fall off my bike today. There is no limit to my paranoia.

steph2412 · 18/08/2012 18:38

hi im new on here. i have a girl 5 and a boy 3 just found out im pregnant again due 16th april so excited but so scared had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in juna and cant stop worrying seeing the midwife in 2 weeks but the days are dragging. any1 else been in the same position?

edinfirst · 18/08/2012 19:19

Hello steph congratulations Grin

There are quite a few girls who have had MC on here, and nearly all of us are scared. It's helping me loads to know how others are getting on, so welcome.

LoobyLou33 · 18/08/2012 20:33

Lovely - I will jump right in then and join you guys! Grin Congrats to everyone on the thread, hope those of you feeling anxious will get some reassurance soon.

It looks like the stats haven't been updated recently, or are they on a different thread? (On my Due April 2011 thread someone created a separate thread just for stats). Am a bit nervous about updating it in case I miss someone off, but will give it a go tomorrow unless someone else who loves making lists fancies it!

I've read over some of the pages but not quite caught up with the whole thread yet...

So I am 5 weeks, due April 18th (ish) with DC2 - got DS1 who is 15 months, thank goodness he's currently having a decent midday nap so I can join him! Am pretty whacked and can smell every bin in town but otherwise not feeling too bad.

toobreathless I saw in an earlier post you have a DC1 born in April 2011, so potentially we could have very simliar age gaps!

JaquelineHyde · 18/08/2012 20:51

Evening everyone and hello Steph congratulations.

I think there are quite a few ladies on here who have recently MCed. I did the last time I was pg but that was 6 years ago now so not the same as you at all but I am still worrying about it all the time and won't be happy until I reach that magical 12 weeks Smile

Can I suggest that maybe at the end of each posting we do we put how far along we are (or think we are) just so that everyone can get an idea of who is due around the same time as them etc. What do you all reckon?

5+1

toobreathless · 18/08/2012 20:51

LoobyLou snap! Yes DD is also 15 months born 23.04.2011. She was due early April but was rather overdue! I'm hoping this one won't arrive within a week of DDs birthday.

We don't have a separate stats thread. Or have had any stats for a while. I would do it myself but I'm on my phone which makes it tricky.

Hope everyone else is having a good evening. DH cut his hand & then fainted, but is alright now. It probably needs a stitch so it is dressed & we are off to minor injuries tomorrow morning.

Giddypants · 18/08/2012 21:13

teapig really don't worry, when I was around your stage I kept saying to my mum, I just don't feel pregnant and was so worried about it, I'm 7+3 now and have started with the and the boobs (oh the boobs) and the stretching, bloating, spots and tiredness I really look a mess, my mum, ever so honest told me I looked very plain yesterday! Cheers mum love ya x

Giddypants · 18/08/2012 21:13

*started with the vomiting, and....

JaquelineHyde · 18/08/2012 21:52

Dysgu · 18/08/2012 23:49

Hello All

Can I join you? I only got my BFP on Thursday so am only 4+3 at the moment. I haven't told anyone (other than DP) in rl so looking to chat. I think due date is 24th April - but DD1 arrived at 32 weeks and DD2 at 35 weeks so we basically figure it could be any time from the end of February!

I have 2DDs already but there seems to be so much stuff I have forgotten since the arrival of DD2 3.5 years ago.

magictorch · 19/08/2012 07:23

Hi everyone, I'm really scared. I woke up this morning and am getting some pink when I wipe (sorry tmi). I also have mild cramps, feel very sick and headachey. My boobs no longer feel tender. I'm 7 weeks tomorrow. I've waited 7 years for this baby, I'm so frightened. EPU only open Mon/Fri, fertility clinic closed on Sundays and I don't know what to do. Have googled and see a mixture of horror stories and hope :o(

magictorch · 19/08/2012 07:24

Sorry, was meant to be sad face, not smiley.

bunnygirl80 · 19/08/2012 07:41

magic you must be so worried, especially after you've tried for so long for this baby. You and I share a due date, and I've also had lots and lots of cramping over the weekend. I think it's probably the bean having a little growth spurt and getting all snuggly in there, so that could be what's happening to you too. So hopefully what you're experiencing is just normal for this point in your pg. I think you should just spend the whole of today on the sofa and in charge of the remote, step away from google as nothing good will come of it, and contact your clinic and epu first thing on Monday. ((hugs))

threeleftfeet · 19/08/2012 08:04

magictorch fx for you xx

Teapig · 19/08/2012 08:05

Magic, you poor thing I know how worrying that is. I agree with Bunny at your stage it's probably just a growth spurt. Take it easy and stay away from Google, I have a terrible habit of Googling and only worrying myself over nothing it's never worth it.

Thanks Giddy for the reassurance. Hope your symptoms aren't too bad and roll on that blooming stage for all of us.

threeleftfeet · 19/08/2012 08:05

Dysgu congratulations! Thanks and welcome :)

DS is just over 3.5 and like you I seem to have forgotten so much!

magictorch · 19/08/2012 08:08

Thanks bunny I so hope you're right. DH has told me to stay in bed all day and would rather I stay home from work tomorrow too. Went to the loo again and it was less than before, so hope you're right and that it is just bubs having a growth spurt. God, this pregnancy lark is worrying! Thanks so much for your kind words x

magictorch · 19/08/2012 08:10

Oops, crossposted. Thanks aufanie and teapig too.

EssexWelsh · 19/08/2012 08:52

It's scan day today for me-3.30, will let you know result straight after, I'm crossing everything!

6+3

toobreathless · 19/08/2012 10:32

Good luck essex looking forward to update.

Magic 7 years is a long time. Everything crossed here for you. I think a day of sofa surfing is sensible. Try & stay positive, your symptoms could all be due to the baby making itself comfy. Drink lots of water & let DH look after you then give EPAU/clinic/GP a ring tomorrow.
