Urgh poor you slightly. I keep having tender and very heavy-feeling boobs at night. Plus insomnia! DP not home yet - am hormonal and getting worried as he's not normally out so late! Was a big work night though so am sure he's ok, just enjoying drinking, unlike the rest of us!

AuroraOrtiz · 30/06/2012 03:30

DP home safely. Apparently a problem with buses...will let him off this time. Does anyone else keep feeling hungry at night? Just had to get up and make myself a sandwich.

freerangelady · 30/06/2012 08:15

I am hungry all the time!! I normally have breakfast at 9.30 at work but these days I'm having 2 breakfasts, one before work and 1 at work. As a result I'm going to have to go and buy some size 14 jeans today. Gutted. I was. 10 last year for my wedding and for a year have hovered between 10 on a good week and 12 on a bad week. I just can't stop eating, either cos I'm starving or really tired.

So had my booking in a appointment yesterday. I'm amazed at how much marketing crap I came out with - I thought the Nhs was a health service not a marketing company!! Midwife was nice but very rushed and busy. Just waiting on my scan date now. Did cross my mind that I could be making all of this up - the doctors only have my word that I'm pg!!

9 weeks today for me. Getting closer to that 12!!

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 30/06/2012 08:20

Aurora, yes I get hungry in the night, I keep a pack of breakfast biscuits in my bedside table.

dreamydays · 30/06/2012 08:22

Woke up this morning to brown blood when I wiped and some cramps like period pain. Bleeding seems to have stopped (so maybe it was just from scan) but pain is worrying. Can't shake off feeling something may be wrong. Am cancelling all weekend plans, will spend as much time on sofa as possible and try to think positive!

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 30/06/2012 08:23

Free range, I'm a week behind you and already moved up the trouser size, I was 10/12 last year for my wedding too, unfortunately I packed on some pounds during the ivf so was on the back foot from the start! It's just bloating at this stage though as the scales say I'm down on my weight! Smile

nearlythereyet · 30/06/2012 08:31

Hi, I'm new. Due DC2 on Feb 15. DD is 2. I've already seen my bean in a non pregnancy scan so starting to get excited! Only 7 weeks but feel like my uterus is definitely lifting, which I believe is normal second time. Just hope I can conceal it until after official scan.

Dreamy, try not to worry. I had that last time and still have a healthy daughter to show for it.

AuroraOrtiz · 30/06/2012 08:48

Good to hear not just me with the munchies! Am worried I will be the size of a house at this rate!

dreamy I've been having cramps and also sharp pains all the way through. Ended up going to a&e a couple of weeks ago as got freaked out, but scan all looked ok, so hopefully you are fine too and these weird pains are just normal. But if it continues and you are worried you could always call nhs direct.

Welcome nearly

somethingwittynot · 30/06/2012 10:04

how weird were all mad for vinegar! i just had two packs of salt and vinegar walkers for breakfast tastes soooo good!

Pinkie29 · 30/06/2012 13:04

Got my scan date through August 1st Smile

LookAtHerGo · 30/06/2012 14:22

I'm a bag of teary emotions at the moment. Proper tears, snappy and just slightly irrational at the moment Sad my poor DP I've cried on him lots since yesterday!

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 30/06/2012 14:32

Am going through a really crappy time at mo, sincerely hope my bean is gonna be ok with the emotional turmoil I'm being put through. Just got to look forward to my 8 week scan on Tuesday. think I'm keeping a lid on my stress levels, shame I can't tell people to leave me alone and tell someone else so I can plant my head in the sand!

LookAtHerGo · 30/06/2012 14:38

Aw totally un MN hug. Hope Tuesday goes ok

dreamydays · 30/06/2012 19:04

Thanks aurora and others for positive words. Brown spotting and dull pain all day. Fingers crossed it stops soon.

dreamydays · 30/06/2012 19:05

Ps aurora hope you also stay ok!

FidgetPie · 01/07/2012 00:13

I just got home from a week away- hoping to find my midwife booking in date but instead there was a phone message from my doctor's practice manager saying I need to speak to her about my test result and to make an appointment ASAP. I am assuming it is about the pregnancy test - I did a sample on Monday (although I had some blood tests a while ago). I am thinking (hoping) that maybe my urine sample was a bit weak (it looked a bit pale) and I need to repeat it. I have done 4 tests at home so know it should be fine and I feel pregnant, but now I will be fretting till they open on Monday. Although I think it must be something technical (rather than medical) as she said to speak to her rather than a doctor... Hopefully
Hmm - trying to put it out of my mind... Not very successfully!

Mollusk · 01/07/2012 07:31

GP surgeries should be open on weekends, don't you think?

morecoffeemorecoffee · 01/07/2012 08:12

dreamy how are you today? Hope the spotting has stopped.

fidgetpie its probably nothing to worry about. It may be they need to re do one of the tests, esp as you say she said to speak to her rather than the Dr.

So, last night I dreamt we found out at the 12wk scan that we were having quads! That was an interesting dream.....!

Pinkie29 · 01/07/2012 10:04

bubba2012 · 01/07/2012 12:07

somethingwittynot · 01/07/2012 13:54

BIL had a singelton follwed by twin hope we dont copy!

AuroraOrtiz · 01/07/2012 15:10

Twins?!! Yikes! Am panic house- hunting as currently living in one- bed flat...can't afford to factor in the possibility of twins!!

LookAtHerGo · 01/07/2012 15:29

Yep and twins run in our families too. But I think because I'd actually be ok with having twins I don't think it's going to happen famous last words

Sirenetta · 01/07/2012 16:25

Yikes! I asked at my scan whether it definitely wan't twins and the answer appeared to be no - but one could have been lurking!

Anyone else feel like it's a personal accomplishment to have made it to July? June was exciting at home but an ordeal at work. Currently still feeling really grotty - not violently sick, just grotty. Yuck tastes and smells, too ill feeling to go out but bored stupid being horizontal and eating carbs!

Babycrazed, Dreamy and Fidget - thinking of you.
