SundaySunshine · 28/06/2012 21:01

cheese my thoughts are with you and your DH. I'm so sad to hear of your loss. Be kind to yourself and good luck for future TTC.

SundaySunshine · 28/06/2012 21:06

Oh, crusty rolls, dairylea triangles and salt& vinegar pringles. Heaven!

somethingwittynot · 29/06/2012 09:09

im mad for salt and vinegar walkers!

LookAtHerGo · 29/06/2012 12:08

Oh my. I'm so blinking knackered. My DD has been unwell since Saturday and will only sleep part of the night in her cot, although last night refused the cot altogether. So she slept on me. My DP had terrible D&V also so I had to look after him too. I'm so looking forward to the weekend, I can see DP taking LO for several walks so I can sleep! Plus it's back to self settling training now. 10 mins into her refusing to nap in her cot. I'm giving it an hour. Then I'll give up and take her out for a walk!

LookAtHerGo · 29/06/2012 13:29

Aw, I just started blabbing while watching how I met your mother!

Want2bSupermum · 29/06/2012 14:43

I have my Dr's appointment in 1.5hrs. It sounds silly but I am quite nervous. Luckily I don't have reason to be nervous this time. With DD I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 3 months along.

Tinker29 · 29/06/2012 15:10

Hello there,

I was one of the early posters in this thread when it was on the other part of the site, i've been quiet for a little while because i haven't wanted to tempt anything but it's time to stop lurking because i need some support ladies - i've only told my partner and mother and i have so many questions!

Firstly, i'm so sorry to hear of cheese's news - fingers crossed it happens for you again as soon as is possible.

I'll re-introduce myself, i'm posting on an iphone so if someone could add me to the list please i'd be very grateful :)

Tinker 29, north manchester, pg with dc#1, Due 2nd Feb.

I'd also really like to join the facebook page, who do i need to friend request, i'm having trouble scrolling through the posts?

Looking forward to getting to know you all :)

somethingwittynot · 29/06/2012 15:50

My scan date has arrived! 20th July :) not long to wait! :)

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 29/06/2012 17:12

No not long! That's exciting. I have to call Tuesday to arrange mine when I'll be 7 weeks seems forever away!

somethingwittynot · 29/06/2012 17:54

im still waiting for my supposed early scan! have a scan on the 9th when ill be 6/7 weeks

orangewellies · 29/06/2012 18:12

Thats exciting morecoffee - I think you're due same as me but I haven't even had booking in appoint yet, let alone had scan booked! Seems to really vary around the country - can't wait to get a date through.

My booking in is on Monday - i'm excited, even though i know they don't do much it just feels like things are moving on IYKWIM.

Also loving the salt and vinegar and this week I have found myself getting through 3 jars of olives.....just thinking about them is making me crave more!

am going to be one of those avoiding FB for now if thats OK - I like the anonymity of MN. Hope everyone else doesn't disappear from here though!

Hope everyone's having a good Friday :)

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 29/06/2012 19:21

I hang about in both orange. I'm craving salty things which is odd. Maybe I'm harbouring a little pretzel??

somethingwittynot · 29/06/2012 19:34

im craving vinegar! salt and vinegars crisps ate 3 bags today chiops with vinegar brown sauce because it tastes vinegary. yummy.

orangewellies · 29/06/2012 19:46

oh no. something I now HAVE to have some chip shop chips with vinegar on. (Actually is this because I'm preg or just another Friday night?!) I'll see how DH feels about going to get some Grin

dreamydays · 29/06/2012 19:58

Salt and vinegar, marmite/vegemite - oh yes!

Can you get some chips with s&v for me too please orange?

LookAtHerGo · 29/06/2012 20:25

I think I forgot to say in all the madness of illness here, my scan is the 19th :) less than 3 weeks to wait now.

dreamydays · 29/06/2012 20:48

Had an early scan today. Was looking forward to it (altho nervous), not least as it marked 7 weeks (7w1d I thought) - milestone for me as my mc was at just before 7 weeks and in my only other pregnancy I had a lot of bleeding before 7 weeks.

Saw pregnancy and clear heartbeat. Embryo not clear - it was at a funny angle. But it was smaller than it should have been: only 4mm or 6 - 6.5 weeks. This is wierd as I know exactly when I ov'ed as (due to ttc issues) I had a scan just before ov. This new date would have given me a bfp around time of implantation.

The dr thinks it ok althought she couldn't explain the discrepancy. But I'm now worrying myself looking at internet stories of small embryos that have ended in mc. Especially as I'm 38 and have been trying to ttc for ages. Dr advised as much rest as possible, no exercise, and I'm to have another scan in a month.

Have read some other MN threads, quite reassuring. The discrepancy could be b/c it's at funny angle, or simply b/c just they're just measuring a few tiny pixels at this stage so lots of room for error. If I hadn't had a scan I wouldn't be thinking about it.

Sorry for me me me post but please tell me to stop worrying and relax!

LookAtHerGo · 29/06/2012 21:23

Dreamy, it's hard to get passed the worry, try not to read too much into the discrepancy, you've seen bean and heartbeat, just keep trying to think positive thoughts. I know it's hard though.

AuroraOrtiz · 29/06/2012 22:10

Have not been on the loop for a bit - just catching up - cheese not sure if you're still reading but so sorry to hear your news. I hope you can have some rest and time off work. Take care and good luck for the future x

AuroraOrtiz · 29/06/2012 22:13

I am craving crisps too! Cheesy ones!

FidgetPie · 29/06/2012 23:31

On the theme of salty / vinegary things - we had fish and chips for dinner - they were great!

Although my symptoms aren't too bad yet (5w + 1) I have got a really runny/blocked nose - which I had last time too. (relatively common and something to do with mucus according to the baby centre website).

I am trying not to wish the time away, but I can't help wanting to be closer to 12 weeks so it didn't feel so scary / tentative.

Dreamy - do try not to worry (although I don't underestimate how hard that is). That is great that they are going to keep a close eye on you.

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 29/06/2012 23:33

I may have to have salt and vinegar on chippy chips tomorrow. I'm liking the vinegar thing too, haven't had any for ages but had to have it on my sausages this week!
Am so bloated today my work trousers are soooo uncomfortable I can't sit up properly. My tummy feels horrific, not crampy, just full tender, possibly a lot of wind tonight!
