Hi can i join you

Found out last week I'm pg with #2. Think I'm due around 20th Feb, which is a week after DS will turn 2. He's currently 16mo. I'm not feeling very engaged with this pregnancy, iykwim, but that's probably cos I've had no time to think about it!

Hope everyone is feeling ok today. I don;t get much time to mn, but wanted to mark my place on here

zanywany · 25/06/2012 14:45

Hope your OK Cheese. I had a bleed with my DS and he was OK although I can remember feeling very panicky/worried at the time. Try and get an earlier mw appoinment if worried.

My MW has just phoned and I have my first appointment next Tuesday. She said that in Notts the first scan is between 11-14 weeks, partly late as they can sometimes do the downs nucal (spelt wrong) test at the same time if a bit later. Scan date will be via post so will be jumping on looking out for the postie.

Still no sicknedd here but tired and nipples really sore.

somethingwittynot · 25/06/2012 15:05

zany my nipples and heartburn are the most annying things for me at the moment

freerangelady · 25/06/2012 15:05

Hi guys,

I posted on an early pregnancy feb thread before I went on holiday last week. I'm not sure if this is it - if so in one week it's got very busy!

If not please can I join? Due with number 1 around 4th Feb. I have my booking in appt this Fri which I'm quite looking forwards to as hopefully I'll get a scan date.

8 +3 now and feeling pretty lousy. Constantly tired (slept for 10 hours last night) always feel a little bit sick but not too bad and hungry?! - Man, I am eating for England, Scotland and Wales at the moment. Bit scared as I've already put on 4 pounds. Feel like I've a huge tum and bra's are definitely a few sizes too small already. Will ahve to go shopping soon!

Pinkie29 · 25/06/2012 15:55

Fx for you cheese x

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 16:33

Hi all, had phone/Internet issues yesterday- bloody sky anytime+!

Cheese glad bleeding stopped, I went to doctors today - uti and everything else I wanted to moan about! He said as long as you still feel pregnant - sore boobs etc that's the best indicator that everything is fine HTH x

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 16:37

Hi all, been off line as sky anytime+ has killed our Internet!

Cheese glad the bleeding stopped. I went to go today - uti and generally moan about my gripes, he thinks I'm worrying too much! I now have fibregel to take to regulate the bowels, as still all over the place. The most reassuring thing he said was as long as you still feel pregnant - sore boobs, tired etc, then that's the best indicator everything is going ok HTH x

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 16:37

**Gp not go

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 16:39

Grr, see I've posted twice, wait til I get hold of you sky!

orangewellies · 25/06/2012 16:40

Hoping all turns out well cheese stay positive.

Feel much more bleurgh today, having to eat every couple of hours to stave off the nausea, and have been hit by the overwhelming tiredness, luckily managed to doze on sofa for about an hour whilst DCs played I ignored them. Sympathies to those of you who have it worse, at least i'm not upchucking.

Just discovered mini salt and vinegar ryvitas which are my new favourite snack, as i was craving crisps and i really don't want to put on loads of weight this pg. Anyone else after the salty/sour snacks? I seem to have gone off really sweet things.

somethingwittynot · 25/06/2012 16:43

ive been hit by extreme tierdness today really want to nap

freerangelady · 25/06/2012 17:20

mmmm, mini salt and vinegar ryvitas sound good!

Might have to get me some of those.

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 17:27

Wellies, with you on the salty/ savoury, have managed to eat a couple of sainsburys oatmeal and raisin cookies this pm, between naps. Am so tired today it's crazy!

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 19:04

Anyone else feel like they leak when they've been walking for a while? (not incontinence!) Blush

Want2bSupermum · 25/06/2012 19:56

Had a nightmare weekend - found we had mice because DH is unable to maintain food safety standards at home. He spilt dog food in the pantry and didn't clean it up. Mice love the stuff so it was no suprise that they have decided to move in. He was tired so went to bed while I bleached everything down.

Yesterday was exhausting and I ended up throwing up all over the place. While I am narky DH has been asking for it. Better women would have kicked his rear end out of the house.

carries · 25/06/2012 20:15

I've got a midwife appt for a week Thursday. I'll be 8 weeks then. :). Loving s&v crisps and granny smith apples & nectarines, they help the nausea.

So glad I'm a SAHM with both kids at school. I souks like a lazy toad but I do loads of voluntary work but that is easing up as kids on holiday come Friday. I feel for those of you working through nausea & vomiting. Been there and it's a killer. One day at work (I was a physio) I was chucking down the loo, was about 30 weeks, and I wet myself. The shame. I had to get a sympathic colleague to get me paper knickers from the ward. Blush

Hope those feeling grim feel better very soon.

dreamydays · 25/06/2012 20:18

Hi slightly just seen your post - had to look up what crinone was! Looks a bit less unpleasant than my yucky capsules? Am taking prog as I've v short luteal phase and have had probs in the past. What symptoms are you having? Am not sure if it's making my pg symptoms worse. But, it's been effective so far. I just hope no risks attached - haven't yet had chance to ask dr about this as the bfp first month on it was a surprise!

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 20:22

Dreamydays, I was on cyclogest for first week but as soon as I implanted I got a rash all over and they changed me to crinone. My clinic nurse said the progesterone made the cramps worse, otherwise for me it is in place of natural progesterone so shouldn't make too much difference. I just keep worrying the levels aren't right, but only 5 more weeks of it, half way! Yay!

Want2bSupermum · 25/06/2012 20:31

carries I assume you went back to work? I would have waited in the bathroom until my pants dried and run back home! I do remember last time throwing up on the Parkway on my way to work. I was going along at 70 and had to make it across 5 lanes to the emergency lane. I was cursing American drivers their huge roads for a good week afterwards. Another time my leg went numb while driving. It was a very scary moment.

carries · 25/06/2012 20:34

supermum - I lived 45 mins from work so just had wear the paper pants & squeeze into non mat trousers. Very humbling experience. The vomiting never eased so I went on mat leave at 32 weeks.

Want2bSupermum · 25/06/2012 20:42

OMG - well done for going for another one. Hope any MS you have goes by wk 14.

dreamydays · 25/06/2012 21:17

Slightly - rash all over sounds bad! I haven't had anything like that, but had vivid dreams, hunger and sore boobs as soon as I started taking it (well before bfp). Now I'm still hungry and sore but no more than anyone else on here! How many weeks will you be when you stop taking it, around 10?

dreamydays · 25/06/2012 21:20

Lots of sympathy to everyone with v bad sickness :( A friend told me she was throwing up in the street with hers. Passers by thought she was drunk. Hope we all escape that.

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 25/06/2012 21:52

Dreamy i'll be on it until 12 weeks, all being well with the scan next week fx

SundaySunshine · 25/06/2012 22:53

Oh dear, sounds like some of you are really going through the mill, I really feel for you.
Queen I think (IMHO) that maybe you should go to the doctors. I know MS is normal but if you can't even keep liquids down it doesn't sound good at all.
Cheese fx everything is okay with you now.
Backpack good luck for your 'vagcam'.

I went back home for the weekend as it was my birthday. Completely spilt the beans to my best friend, who said (after the squeals and hugs etc) "I thought you looked a bit 'curvy'" Hmm. Managed to get through visits to In-Laws and my parents houses without being interrogated over the size of my boobs - the in-laws and my Dad are all about as tactful as Prince Philip though not as posh. Luckily though I'm not at all nauseous so at least I didn't have to hid that. In fact apart from big boobs I don't have any other symptoms at all, and really the big boobs might be down to the whole bag of donuts that I scoffed last week. Very tempted to do some more tests...
