Mamma and McKayz's thread!

It's the home run ladies Grin

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
elliebug · 27/06/2012 12:08

Just a quick post to say ellie and jake available. All of nov, up for whatever, pretty much wherever however, anywhere very south might be awkward! Will be driving and happy to collect Smile
Fools, where are yooooou? Am happy to come visit if DS makes brownies Grin
Will try as proper post when not on phone. cos I forget what everyone has saidBlush

elliebug · 27/06/2012 12:09

Also, would it help to put vague area in which we live? I'm somewhere in east yorks

TroubleAndFyfe · 27/06/2012 12:12

I'm in Hastings. South East coast. Smile

McKayz · 27/06/2012 12:31

I will be free most of November. I am in North Yorkshire. Will have to bring DH and maybe the boys but they will be very happy to find something to do after dropping me off.

foolserrand · 27/06/2012 13:18

foolserrand signing in. Smack bang in the middle of Hertfordshire. Free.... always with enough notice. Miss Fliss will be coming, but won't inflict ds on you all this time!

He does make Brownies, today is cookies and cake he says. I'm having a tearful day. Don't know why, just feeling very sorry for myself and weepy. Stupid royal mail still haven't delivered ds' new garage so they are about to feel my rage. Need my endorphin rush from the run. Start week 3 tonight.

Davinaaddict · 27/06/2012 15:08

Good call Trouble Smile My list is pretty much the same as yours except I can drive or take public transport, depending on what the easiest option is. I'm based in West Yorkshire. I'll only be bringing DH & DS if it's a weekend. I'll bring DS as well if it's a Monday, although if it's going to be a long journey, then I'd probably prefer not to bring them both on my own.

Ok so distance wise, we've Trouble furthest south and McKayz/ellie furthest north so far. I think that means the middle is around Northampton? How would that work for everyone? It would be great for me, and my preference would be a weekend if that's doable by everyone. I've got a friend who lives in Northampton as well so I could probably find us a good place to meet? No worries if it doesn't suit though Smile

Big hugs for fools Smile PS if you're not bringing DS, I think you should bring some of his baking GrinWink

Davinaaddict · 27/06/2012 15:27

Btw, I didn't suggest Northampton because of my friend, it was around the middle when I did a rough finger measurement on my iPhone Grin

foolserrand · 27/06/2012 15:36

Northampton sounds good to me. Trouble, if you want a lift part way, I'd ne happy to help :)

His baking.... wouldn't that mean I would have to share?!

Davinaaddict · 27/06/2012 16:13

Yes I'm afraid so, but of course we would only be helping you out, so you don't have to do so much running WinkGrin

foolserrand · 27/06/2012 16:18

Have just planned my birthday cake. It will be a rainbow sponge with pink icing and covered in 2d presents. Ds will be helping, nach.

Am considering entering the baby run for Tommy's in October. Would that tip me past crazy to beyond help?

MammaInTheMaking · 27/06/2012 16:27

I'm free in November too and have no preferences over week/end. DD would come ofcourse Smile DP I duno.

So I'm in SE London/Kent border.

Yes, perhaps my night time activities are due to tiredness too. I think the anxieties are most of it though. 1 night I found myself at DD's change table Hmm. My mum came over today, was lovely having a hand with DD just so I could get some washing on, make lunch and express. Boobs were at bursting point! I think DD is preferring the bottle more and more as she's been getting really irate at the boob despite the shields. Hmmmm....

fools sorry you're feeling teary, I hope your endorphin hit helps you. And perhaps some of DS's cookies too? Biscuit

Davinaaddict · 27/06/2012 16:38

Bloody hell, I'm so daft sometimes! I'll be back at work by then so won't be able to do weekdays anyway, unless I book the days off - d'oh! Confused

fools - complete nutcase! Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 27/06/2012 18:08

A weekend it is then! Grin is everyone bringing partners then? I can bring DH if that's the way you want to play it but just as happy to leave him at home too. A lift sounds good fools, I might stay a couple of days with my sis in north London then meet you in herts. Do you guys want to do a day trip or an overnight?

ghosteditor · 27/06/2012 19:07

Waves and does the secret handshake with davina Grin

I'd love to come along with Jools (who will be TEN MONTHS in November [Shock]! I can't speak for DH as he's unreliable due to work. I'm captaining my hockey team this year so Saturdays are out for me - can I bid for Sunday? Northampton is pretty good for us too Smile.

foolserrand · 27/06/2012 19:09

I'm leaving my dp at home! I'm easy going, day trip or over night.

Davinaaddict · 27/06/2012 20:50

Waves back at ghost, looks at sling next to the door and runs away Grin Was your mum glad to see the two of you hadn't been abducted by the crazy lady from the Internet? Grin

We'll probably make a weekend of it and spend some time with my friend so will plan to be overnight on the Saturday, so Sundays fine for me Smile

McKayz · 27/06/2012 20:57

Northampton is fine here too

ghosteditor · 27/06/2012 20:59

Mum's a bit scared of the internets Grin. She was very relieved to hear that we went to the same school - ladies, can you believe that we went to the same school? Shock

davina's DD is ridiculously gorgeous and tiny next to my tank-like DD and so cute!

TroubleAndFyfe · 27/06/2012 21:11

Wow! How amazing you went to the same school!
A Sunday in Northampton it is then! I'll leave DH at home. So then, let's vote...
November 3,10,17,24?

My preference is 10 or 17 as 3rd will be bonfirey and the 24th is getting a bit close to you know what. Smile

McKayz · 27/06/2012 21:16

I think 17 might be better for me as then I have the boys so DH can take them out somewhere while I meet you.

elliebug · 27/06/2012 21:17

10th, you're right, the 24th is a bit close to my birthday Grin
mckayz if you don't want to bring entire family, could you get to me and I'll drive us both down?
Was just about to bath jake but he is asleep!!

TroubleAndFyfe · 27/06/2012 21:40

By the way, it's about £60 to stay in a travelodge on the Saturday night and £30 on the Sunday.

Davinaaddict · 27/06/2012 21:50

17th for me (11th is my MIL birthday)

And we were at the same school at the same time, although I was a geek cool 5th year when ghost started because I'm an old fart Grin

Davinaaddict · 27/06/2012 21:53

And Jools is not a tank! She is a bit bigger than Lauren but she's nearly twice her age Smile She is the cutest little girl, and blows the most amazing raspberries Grin

foolserrand · 27/06/2012 22:05

That is amazing! What are the chances?!

I'm very excited already, so sad! 24th is a bit close to my dad's birthday not that I really give a shit

Well, the run helped a bit, nearly killed me! Desperately want to wash now though!
