Morning everyone!

Puppy, I am so thinking of you and you must remember you have so much support on here.

Appydays does a DH behaving like a two year old count??? Mine left work early yesterday with a severe dose of man flu. Couldn't even be bothered to pick up bread on his way home and then insisted that I do it!!!! And to make matters worse I was late from work and the shopping delivery arrived 10 mins after I got home with bread on it Grin Grin

Sorry to start the day off with a rant ladies!

Angeliz - I bought some of those Dorothy Perkins Jeans yesterday, they are quite cool aren't they!
Am jealous yours are in a size 10 though - my arse would not permit anything lower than a 14 !!
Hellkat - agree on the cutting back on crap foods, my arse and thighs are the size of a 8 months pregnant pady I am sureBlush Need to start doing more excercise!

Sorry was on phone when typing, the baby was wiggling like mad, it was really good and the scan was more thorough. They class this one as my dating scan as it was very clear, EDD 17th September which makes me 12+4.

I have been told not to worry if I have further bleeding and to contact them if there is alot of red blood with clots.

Thanks all for your words of support.

i was sneezing till about a week ago - lots and lots of sneezing, but it appears to have stopped - jsut have really sensitive skin and loads and loads of little pimples Blush

homemama · 09/03/2006 12:11

Great new, Puppy! Smile
I want some new maternity jeans. So are the Dorothy Perkins ones the best then? I've heard the Top Shop ones are good. Last time bought Next ones and they are awful.

I spoke too soon about the eating. The shortbread all came back up after posting. So it's back to mainly liquid for me with some dry bread/bagels when I can stomache them. Sad I'm worried it won't go by 20wks this time.

Normsnockers, your tablets sound like a wonder drug! Hope they're still working for you!

Hellkat, hope your appointment goes well.
Lysettes, alpen sounds good. At the moment I need something to get me going as I think it's been 3 or 4 days now.
KK, hope you feel a little better soon. Smile

puppy · 09/03/2006 12:17

Homemama and norms, staceym11 has just got a bfp on the ttc board.

Normsnockers · 09/03/2006 12:26

Homemama,

They are called Ondansetron (Zofran) if you want to discuss them with your G.P./hospital consultant. They are apparently not formally approved for pregnancy because they've not been tested specifically for pregnancy but the hospital consultant said he had used it with many of his vomitting pregnant patients and there had been no complications so I'm pinning my hopes on that. They were in the list of drugs on the bloomingawful website.

Apparently they are quite expensive compared to other drugs which may also be a problem as I'm not sure who picks up the cost, the G.P.'s budget or someone else. It must be cheaper for the N.H.S. than being in hospital though

They were working very well last week but the added major constipation problem (side-effect fo the drugs) seems to have made me start feeling queasy to the point of throwing up again but (touch wood) so far only once in the morning and once in the evening. Not pleasant but quite manageable.

The main thing I want is to not let my stomach get into to the habit of throwing up as it seems to be a vicious circle. Once you start you are more likely to keep going and stomach lining is all upset again and tolerates less food again etc.

We are almost into the second trimester when ordinary morning sickness subsides so if it at least got a little bit better for us it from then on it would be lovely wouldn't it.

Normsnockers · 09/03/2006 12:27

Ooh Puppy, good news.

Off to post on the ttc thread
