DesperateHousewife21 · 13/03/2012 17:15

Lol it's ok it was prob my fault I post from my phone so it can't always be trusted!

OMGBFP · 13/03/2012 17:18

the list was annoying me having a few out of place, glad it wasn't just me LOL

I just had a nap, got up, fancied eggy cinnamony bread, make 2 slices, eaten one and then went meh.

supposed to be out tonight for a few hours but I think a bubble bath and early night is in order, I NEED to knock this insomnia on the head but am struggling. no point going to docs as nothing he can give me. Will have to start trying the old bath, book, horlicks routine and go through at a proper hour.

Anyone struggling with bras yet? I'm an F cup and realllllllllllllllllly feeling heavy and horrible. I have to have underwired bras but concerned they'll damage my breasts for feeding? Is it way to early to go and get new bras? I can't afford to keep changing and buying new ones. I've tried pulling the wires out of one of my bras but I keep falling out of it Blush

LittleLolly · 13/03/2012 17:44

I have gone up an entire bra size! From 34C to 34D. Ive just bought a couple of normal 34D bras, I don't want to wear maternity bras yet! I couldn't squeeze into my 34C bras any longer, I had a very unattractive case of 'double boob'. Husband is loving it, except I won't let him near them as they are sooo sensitive and sore!

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 13/03/2012 17:52

I think underwiring is fine, as long as it's sat against your ribcage rather than pressing into breast tissue. It's a pain isn't it - last time I bought about 4 lots of new bras because I kept changing size. I'm just going to get some biggish (2 cup sizes up) nursing bras this time, and I can wear them towards the end of pregnancy as well. I did the whole measuring thing last time, and there was no sodding point, I could change size over the course of a day!

Feeling tired and yucky taste in mouth. I'm scared I'm going to get morning (ha!) sickness like last time again. That was NOT fun.

TheDetective · 13/03/2012 18:22

I have some absolutely awesome news!

After festering in misery overnight, and far too much sleeplessness than was necessary, I decided to ring the EPAU where I am booked again.

I explained my concerns, and that I knew my dates exactly. They offered to see me, to do bloods, and see if my HCG rises normally in the next few days. I gratefully accepted this and made my way up this morning. They told me they had no Doctor, so it would just be a case of doing bloods and then on my way.

It turns out, when I got there that they decided to scan me again, to check the measurements as they agreed there was no way a positive test on 24th Feb should be giving measurements of 5 weeks.

Turns out, WE HAVE A HEARTBEAT!!! I saw it!!! Baby is measuring spot on for 6 weeks today!!!!!!! Grin

I'm still in shock. I have a little picture too! How utterly amazing that less than 24 hours has made such a difference!!!

PR and Jen I hope you get similar news ASAP!

Feel annoyed at my colleagues now, for such unnecessary worry! Hmpf.

OMGBFP · 13/03/2012 18:22

With big boobs it's very hard to get a fit that doesn't dig in somewhere Hmm

Even the pressure of the duvet resting on them was too much last night!

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 13/03/2012 18:24

That's brilliant news Detective, you must be so happy!

Really relieved for you.

OMGBFP · 13/03/2012 18:38

ooh x posted and missed your amazing news detective! Brilliant news :)

Jayney10 · 13/03/2012 18:45

yay detective great news! :)

izzybizzybuzzybees · 13/03/2012 18:48

Thats wonderful news detective heres to a happy an healthy 8 months or so!

Little9 · 13/03/2012 19:02

Great news Littlelolly and detective. :o Must be such a relief.

Have had a headache most of the day today but think it's probably cos I am so tired. Now starting to feel a little sick. Cough starting to come back too, so not a great day.

Glad I wasn't the only one getting annoyed with the out of order list. Thought it was me being a bit obsessive/perfectionist as always!! Blush

Hello and congratulations to all the new people.

blonderthanred · 13/03/2012 19:04

That's great news Detective, how brilliant and very exciting.

Funny how we are all moving along, I too just bought some maternity non-underwired bras as I was worried about the same thing and I only have wired ones.

Also went into posh mama-baby shop and had a funny turn and had to leave, I must still be slightly disbelieving about it all...

PetiteRaleuse · 13/03/2012 19:07

That's wonderful news Detective :)

DesperateHousewife21 · 13/03/2012 19:11

Yay detective that's fabby dabby news! Am Envy though I want an early scan now! Only 7ish weeks to wait

I really must phone the docs and get myself a midwife soon.

Is anyone else suffering from bad wind? It's excessive and frankly not nice!

TheDetective · 13/03/2012 19:17

DH My wind is horrendous, I fart when I sneeze, or bend over. What is all that about?!

Thank you ladies for sharing my moment of excitement with me!!

Belgrano · 13/03/2012 19:33

Aww the Detective I am v pleased for you. Did they just get the measurements wrong yesterday then? Or are they that subjective? It s a big error margin if its just an error... Either way great news for you and I am glad you can sleep easy tonight!
Yes wind here too. Grim.
So blooody nauseous. 7 weeks tomorrow though so trying to basically wish away the next 5 weeks. God, 5 weeks is bloody ages isn't it. Come ON! Want to feel human, its so depressing feeling vile all the time.

Peaky1 · 13/03/2012 19:55

Great news Detective! Hope everyone else is going well x

ShushBaby · 13/03/2012 19:57

Room for another?

I got my bfp last weds and am due 11th Nov (touch wood).

Have a 2 yo daughter, and also had a mc before conceiving dd. I'm incredibly anxious and almost convinced this will all end in tears.

Is anyone else having NO symptoms? I have skimmed through this thread and it seems everyone is feeling sick/tired/more hungry/windy, just anything that makes them feel pregnant.

I feel.... fine. Which should be great but it's not! I want to feel crap!

My boobs are a bit tender, but anyone who has done the 2ww knows that the mind can magically make boobs feel tender if you want something badly enough....

WaitingForMe · 13/03/2012 20:03

Hi, just got a BFP Grin

We're still a bit stunned and I'm glad I've found this thread as my mind is just going into overdrive.

Not a single symptom but I have (or should I say had - everything will change!) regular horrific periods and am never late so when AF didn't show up yesterday I thought it might be good news. Was going to wait until the end of the week but couldn't!

I'm hyper anxious. No real reason to be but keep telling 'it' to hold on tight and get comfortable.

OMGBFP · 13/03/2012 20:04

Welcome shushbaby and congratulations :)

Apart from my boobs and fear of any food not beige and plain I don't really have any symptoms and feel well :)

12 week scan seems weeeeeeeeeeeks away (cause it IS maybe?!) i think there's something to be said for finding out you are pregnant later and not a day or two after your period was due Sad
