Yeh congratulations on baby Daniel!! X

livismum · 28/04/2012 19:00

Hi princess there is couple of us who have got our BFP thanks to JSing so u have company..........come back now please! Grin
Was only on the thread a few weeks and surprised to fall so quickly DD2 took a year and I started stressing so this time took the relaxed approach and voilà! Due either 29th or 31st Dec by my reckoning! (29th my cousins wedding oops!)

PricklyPickle · 28/04/2012 19:16

I'm here too Livi I was over on the JS thread as well.

Seems a bit quiet in here. The Anti-natal threads baffle me slightly. Some threads seem to be under pregnancy and some under anti-natal clubs. Don' t want to post in the wrong place and get told off.

So what symptoms have you got?

livismum · 28/04/2012 20:27

Hey prickly congrats on your BFP I saw on the thread ur EDD the 1st, and then the link to here! will we be racing to beat the fireworks together??!
I've joined the due Dec thread but feel really far behind them (pretty sure of when I conceived so will prob be 31st!)
Had few symptoms, was pretty bloated but now have lots of gas and it's going! Feel a little bit nauseous but not too bad, have also gone off chocolate, this is a major revelation as I can't usually go a few hours without it!Blush

PricklyPickle · 29/04/2012 07:11

You've gone off chocolate?! That made me feel a bit faint.

I've joined the Jan 13 thread, it seems quite chatty. I'm feeling quite bloated too and really thirsty, but not much else yet, it doesn't feel that real yet to me. My DP is in complete shock, he just keeps squeaking!

livismum · 01/05/2012 18:37

Nothing else to report here, still off chocolate tried a bit of a lindt bunny last night and felt sickest I have! Sad
But apart from that no sore boobs, bit of extra moisture down below, little bit of cramping still on and off but that's about it! Arranged booking in with midwife today, 22nd may (ages off still!) when I'll be 8 and a bit weeks, I thought the 2 weeks waiting to test went slow but just think it's time in general! Speaking generally to DD's about baby names and the top 2 were KarateMan
or HappyBirthdayBaby ummm my DH likes Jedi (star wars) or Maverick (top gun) I'm giving up!

PricklyPickle · 02/05/2012 19:20

Ok, clearly you should be in charge of naming your child! I'm banned from talking about names by my DP as he says its too early - although now I'm considering Maverick :)

I've got a GP appt on Friday, apparently in this area the doctor has to see me first before passing me to a midwife, I just know its going to be a bit pointless.

I totally agree with you about time passing slowly, I think I may hav slipped into some sort of pregnancy wormhole where everyday is a week long. I'm going to be a gibbering wreck by the time I get to the 12 week scan.

I have an annoying new symptom, one of my boobs has grown so I look great from one side. Apparently that means I'll be having a girl. We'll see...

livismum · 04/05/2012 09:52

Hope your doctors app goes ok, when I fell Pg with DD1 the doc just smiled at me at said congratulations, that was it!!

livismum · 14/05/2012 16:34

So is Something going to be joining us???

tiredteddy · 21/05/2012 07:23

Hi LIVISMUM and PRICKLYPICKLE

Can I join youfron over on the JS thread? Hope you remember me. There were a couple of others too i thought i will check who it was. Unfortunately for Something she got ERTD just a bit late, she was gutted but back on the JS now. I got a BFP yesterday am 5 weeks as I actually resisted testing for a whole week!

livismum · 21/05/2012 09:12

Welcome teddy Grin
Morning! Wow I'm in awe of u waiting a whole week to test I knew the day ERTD was due so it's been a long old few weeks! Just snuck on the JSing board to wave at u, didn't realise u had posted here as it's a bit quiet! Hopefully lots more will join us soon, felt really sorry for something but sure with all the JSing she manages it won't be long!
I have 2 DD's 7 and 3, did I see it's number 3 for u to or is my already confuddled brain playing tricks again?

tiredteddy · 21/05/2012 09:23

Hi hi hi! Very happy to be here! Yes it us DC3 for me too! I have 2 DS's 7 (nearly 8) and 4 so quite similar to you. Shall we start a new thread or stay here and make it comfy? We could PM the other BFP's and see if they want to join us? I remember cupofbrownjoy but there were a couple of others too. I will make appointment at GP next week I think to much to do this week and going on a girly weekend away in Friday! Hmmmm think I will have to tell them won't keep them fooled for 3days.

tiredteddy · 22/05/2012 13:36

Hi LIVISMUM dud you see the midwife today for booming in? How are you doing with symptoms?

tiredteddy · 22/05/2012 14:18

Gosh my typing on the phone is horrendous! I meant "did" and "booking" Blush

livismum · 22/05/2012 14:26

Hi ya! Yep saw them this morning! Even more questions than I remembered!! Had bloods taken, trainee did well!! I think they liked how straightforward I am, no issues! Nice to feel "officially" pregnant just need scan now! They gave me a pot to pee with an attachment thing bit like the she wee's u see at festivals, bit hi tech for me and I ended up over filling and making more mess than usual!
Got up early to see olympic torch go through the town this morning before school, DD2 not had a sleep today and I'm struggling to keep my eyes open!

tiredteddy · 22/05/2012 15:13

Glad it all went well, know what you mean about feeling officially pregnant. The olympic torch sounds good. I live in the town where the cycle races are going to be held so I hope to see something Olympic at some point. There was another BFP on the JS thread so hopefully she will come over here too. I am so spotty it's not true. I don't remember that from being pregnant before. Other than that I am just massively tired. The she-wee sounds frightening I hope they don't have them here!

livismum · 30/05/2012 11:25

Hey Tired how are you feeling? I'm 9+4 now so getting there slowly! Had a few headaches with the heat but still not too much sickness, got a big Jubilee BBQ planned for Sunday, not sure how I'm going to hide my little bump belly, I'm usually a size 8, and as soon as floaty tops make an appearance people start speculating! Spent Sunday at work in big knickers trying to hold it all in, then got home and went commando under a summery dress and let it all hang out! I hare this point!

tiredteddy · 30/05/2012 17:28

Hi LIVISMUM glad your not feeling too bad with symptoms. I am so far feeling totally normal. Think it's because I had a mastectomy in nov last year so about 6 months ago and so no boob aches/ tingling/ tenderness that I remember from previous pregnancies. I'm thinking on the plus side no grotty maternity bras and my new pert boobs won't sag! However I do get a bit emotional thinking about the fact I won't be feeding this little one myself. Had to tell some friends this weekend ad it was a girly weekend away so could not keep them fooled for three days. They were all thrilled. Grin at the floaty tops, def raise eyebrows and suspicious about those. I quite like having a bump so am hoping it all pops out quickly 3rd time. Just checked the JS thread and think babylann will be coming over to join us yay! Smile am 6+2 so your a couple of weeks ahead.

babylann · 02/06/2012 17:41

Hi everyone :)

LHStripsTease · 02/06/2012 19:50

Hello you all! I am glad you made it to hear! babylann! congrats! tiredteddy I am sorry I have not made it at the end. I was told yesterday that I was going to miscarry...blood test and ultrasound...anyways, I am trying to be positive ( I left a post in the just shagging thread explaining. ANyways! I am very happy for you... ! and I am sorry to hear about the mastectomy, but my cousin did well, and ha raised two beautiful kids! so, don't feel sorry at all because the best gift you will give to this new baby is live! and that is a-ma-zing! so! I am very glad all is proceeding well! livismum, we never got to know each other.... at the time I go invited to this thread, I was like in a limbo waiting to get more and more confirmation... until two days ago, when all fade away after the blood tests. Anyways, I wish you all lots of success! I guess that by the time I will be joining this thread, you will be in a different stage, but it has been good to get "to know you".

Happy Jubilee and best of luck!!!!!

babylann · 02/06/2012 20:19

I replied to you in the other thread LHStripsTease. Thinking of you Thanks

tiredteddy · 03/06/2012 12:15

Marking my place for later x

tiredteddy · 03/06/2012 23:02

lhstriptease hi I had been wondering wear you were. I hope that you get this reply. I am sorry to hear your news. The early days and weeks seem such a tricky time. I truly hope that you are ok and that you find your way back here very soon. I will keep a look out for you from time to time on the just shagging thread as it has been good to get to know you. Thank you for what you said as well about my surgery it meant a lot to me. Take care x

tiredteddy · 03/06/2012 23:05

babylann. Hi hi hi. Nice to see you here. It's a bit of a quiet thread so good to have someone to talk to. Very pleased for you with all the BFP's Grin I had a quick look in at the couple of due in jan threads but they seem huge and very fast moving. Chat soon!

babylann · 03/06/2012 23:11

Oh no! I never checked this thread out, but I assumed it would be really full, is there a follow up thread for those who were here and have now had babies? Disappointed to be honest, I loved how fast the jsing thread moved!

I'm also part of a feb 12 thread but I'll have to wait for dating scan to find out, it might be jan, especially if I have elcs next time, which I think is probable.

Well I'm ridiculously pregnant already, SO many symptoms.
