Anybody else out there?????
Very surprised, had only SWI once and I thought we had missed the window of opportunity. It seems not, BFP yesterday, royal wedding treat. EDD about 2nd Jan I think.

#2 for me, keeping fingers tightly crossed as had a bumpy ride before conceiving DS. Very excited and slightly terrified. :)

Hello, entering at a tentative time I see, really hope everything is ok for everyone and that it is ok for me to join.

Well.....
I was told by the GP after having an ultra sound that it looked like I was getting PCO, so to have a test for ovulation. I have this and then get told that it needs repeating due to low progesterone levels. So we start waiting for my next cycle and it doesn't come...... very tender boobs and bloatedness (we started trying last month) thought it would come to nothing but POAS yesterday and BFP!!! Slightly shellshocked, but over the moon, even with other aspects of life not great at the moment, but DH and DS1 (20 months) are both brilliant so together we will be fine, FX this little one sticks. EDD 23 Jan (feels weird typing that!!)

Life has a funny way of doing things doesn't it, be it good or bad? Love to all who are having a worrying time x

d0gFace · 18/05/2011 21:21

Welcome Mummaroo and congratulations.

I hope things work out for those with worrying signs.

Browncoats · 18/05/2011 21:39

milkyway07 · 18/05/2011 22:42

My thoughts and good wishes are with you nanny, hotcrossSES and Buttertart. I know only too well how you must be feeling at this time. Please keep positive and I really hope everything works out fine you all. x

SlightlyScrambled · 19/05/2011 05:06

Best of luck today with your scan Nanny

thinking of you both Hotcrosses and Buttertart. Really hope that it turns out the bleeding was nothing serious.

hotcrossSES · 19/05/2011 08:42

EPU won't see me til Monday :(
They say they wouldn't be able to guarantee a clear answer at 6+2.
Still bleeding - fairly constant and not quite as heavy as a period. Boobs no longer sore this morning so really not hopeful. I'll try a HPT later maybe.
Do I stay home alone and mope or try and go into work?!

supadupapupascupa · 19/05/2011 08:43

I had some red spotting last night Sad well it was more pink, and happened when I went to the loo. Nothing since.

I'm 4+7 so I guess I've just got to wait and see same as everyone else.

I'm rhesus negative, and am assuming it's too early to be worrying about antibodies, does anyone know?

Fingers crossed no more blood, gonna take it easy.

How is everyone else this morning?

Browncoats · 19/05/2011 09:08

Good luck with your scan today Nanny

hotcrossSES again, keeping everything crossed for you, I can't quite believe they won't see you till Monday. I know it's going to be a stressful few days for you and if I were you I wouldn't go into work today - would they be understanding if you told them?

Buttertart how are you feeling this morning? Any more bleeding? Keeping you in my thoughts also.

supadupapupascupa I don't know what it means to be Rhesus -ve. What do you mean about antibodies? You're right to take it easy and fx for you too.

ShimmeryPixie · 19/05/2011 09:13

supadupapupascupa I think it's too early to worry at present about antibodies, as according to my book Ithe placenta will not have formed yet for you, so the chance of cross-over causing a reaction is minimal

ghosteditor · 19/05/2011 09:31

oh gosh, really sorry to hear about worrying symptoms for hotcrossSES and buttertart . Fx for you ladies - try to rest as much as you can and I hope it all works out. It must be awful for you.

ghosteditor · 19/05/2011 09:33

mummaroo welcome to the list and congrats; what a huge surprise for you!

supa if it makes you feel any better at all I also had a trace of pink, at 4+5, and it stopped within a couple of hours and has been ok since. Mine was brought on by sex, I think! I hear that can happen. Hope it has stayed away for you.

shonnomanom · 19/05/2011 09:35

Oh what a worring time! Ladies you are all in my thoughts! cyber hugs all round. Hotcrosses I wouldnt go to work , it would be too hard to concentrate fully on work I would think.
nanny I hope your scan today is succesful
Wishing sore boobs and morning sickness for you all in the nicest possible way x

And welcome/congrats mummaroo

ghosteditor · 19/05/2011 09:36

I was at yoga last night and was doing a back bending stretch called the wheel and my instructor came over to sort of support the stretch so I could lift a bit higher. My tshirt fell down so she essentially had her face at belly level - am convinced she knooooows now! She does run prenatal yoga classes though so I guess I'll go to them a bit later on.

ghosteditor · 19/05/2011 09:37

by the way, obvs, that is not me in the photo!

shonnomanom · 19/05/2011 09:38

oh and ghost that link is really good. Im glad he womans belly gets bigger between 5-8 weeks Smile

fishandlilacs · 19/05/2011 09:47

Hotcrosses and butter How were your nights? Still bleeding? Have you gone to the hospital yet? Let us know how you are.

I appear to have restless legs syndrome-fricking annoying, and recurrent hiccups.

Job interview today, had to buy some bigger smart trousers but hopefully this will lead to something positive.

I hope everyone is ok. x

tummytickler · 19/05/2011 10:15

Morning all - I hope you are all feeling ok. hotcross and butter hope the bleeding has stopped and you had a good rest last night.
I woke feeling a little green around the gills this morning, so that made me feel good - although it is rather early on for that, so I dread to think what I have in store for me in terms of ms!
Feeling pretty tired, been out for an early walk with ds, and now he is watching Bugs Bunny - I just need to sit down. I am only 4+4 - I don' t remember feeling like this so early on in previous pregnancies!
Anybody getting any cravings? Not for me, but many, many aversions, and much laziness which leads for a craving for Chinese food (which has so far been ignored - saving it for a really bad day!)
Good luck for the job interview today fish !

shonnomanom · 19/05/2011 10:22

Good luck with your job interview fish

tummy last time round I couldnt drink tea, it just tasted strange. Nothing this time, so far. Although I too was feeling rather 'green' this morning.

Weevie · 19/05/2011 10:30

Morning everyone!

nanny I hope your scan goes well today!
Hotcrosses and buttertart I hope it turns out to be nothing for both of you! I have my fx!!!

fish good luck with the job interview

hotcrossSES · 19/05/2011 11:18

Thanks for your support everyone. I got out of my morning meeting and so have taken it easy this morning. This afternoon am doing a presentation for Eastbourne Women's Institute. They booked me months ago so don't want to let them down. Hopefully will help distract ms Hmm

FX for nanny and Buttertart

Mummaroo · 19/05/2011 11:21

Morning all, thank you for the welcomes :) FX crossed for good news still.

I had a major urge for chicken nuggets last night so DH went to MacD's for me (oh the health) but it was closed, so I went v pathetic and he went to the Tesco express for me and got some, so hopefully a bit more healthy. May not have been pregnancy related as I do get the odd urge for things anyway, but DH only got them for me because I'm pg, so I'm taking it!! Other than that I just want fruit, which is very unlike me I normally have to force myself to eat fruit, and loving veg, but I like that anyway!!

With ds, I just wanted pasties and stodge, anything bland and complete aversion to fish and garlic, couldn't smell them without running to the bathroom, food shopping was fun!! I had quite an unhealthy diet for the first trimester and a bit beyond cos I just couldn't keep anything else down. So far I feel pretty good, which is surprising, the odd wave of nausea which normally precedes hunger pangs, even if I've just eaten!! I am very hungry ALL the time!!

However despite all this I still think I'm kidding myself and want to go and get more HPT's to check that it's real, anyone else feeling like that?
