HI everyone, I know it is very early but I got a very faint positve line this morning, and another at lunch, and another at tea time! Was not due AF till Thurs but was meant to be going for a proceedure that involved radiation tomorrow so needed to do checks and here I am, and there I will not be! I have already got 2 and not told OH yet but need to tell somebody! Anyone else yet?

Ooh I thought I put mine on. It's DC1 10th December Northants. Thanks. First day at work today since finding out and was yawning all day.

GirlWithTheMouseyHair · 18/04/2011 20:15

According to the little dial thing I'm 8+3 with edd of 26th Nov but u have massive gaps between periods so reckon early Dec will be more likely, so will wait and see what they say at the scan

I need to get some ginger tea. And some crystallized ginger. Have a two day journey to France by car and ferry coming up with my folks and ds. I get sea sick anyway so on top of ms it's going to be hideous!

just click on the posters name :) if their profile is public it will open in a new window/tab

LittleBlueBoat · 18/04/2011 20:20

I feel sick Sad I dont like having all day sickness Sad

Also Twinings Everyday Decaf tea is the best IMO.
I'm currently craving cucumber still water or flavoured water and my husband will not go to the 24 hour asda to get me some, so i'm grumpy.

I'm so tired i could cry but i can't sleep because my back, boobs and tummy hurt and i feel sick.

Ok moan over, as you were Grin

Liska · 18/04/2011 20:21

Darcie, just seen your question - I flew to Canada and back at 18/19 weeks. I think you need a Doctor's note if you're more than 30 weeks, but it seems surprisingly common for people to fly pretty late on.

Liska Thanks not planning on flying in my last trimester.

BeeMyBaby · 18/04/2011 20:25

Liska I checked your profile as it was clickable - I think most people on here don't have clickable ones. There are two possible lessons - I shouldn't be so nosey looking at your profile, or, you should update your profile on your birth week, just for occasions such as this.

GirlWithTheMouseyHair · 18/04/2011 20:39

oh littleblueboat I know how you feel - bad DH though, make that man immediately go and get you what you need, whatever you need - you are growing his child. Make sure he gets double otherwise he'll only have himself to blame when you get the cravings again at 1am Grin

strawberries was your PND really bad? I def had it but kept it hidden, so not exactly severe, but lied again to my midwife because I treated it as "baby blues" then had a depression episode again last year and it came and went generally. I just live in fear of getting PND properly after dealing with severe depression when I was younger. I was such a stress head first time mum with DS I really want to be more chilled and relaxed this time but can't get the threat of PND out of my head....stoopid mental health ishoos! I even had to fight the tears when my midwife mentioned referring me. Ugh....

LittleBlueBoat · 18/04/2011 20:58

Mouse I had PND really bad and i'm still on 150mg of sertaline. I had an appointment with a mental health nurse today. And it was fine, i can keep taking the tablets and i know what to do if i have it again and my family know what to watch out for too.

I'm scared of getting worse but in the end if i do i know to tell someone - the right people HV, midwife or doctor and i can get it treated. Its just an illness that can be treated.

I had a few mood swings so far but i've been able to handle them.

Have you had any counciling for what happened?

Its more common than you think.

Felicific · 18/04/2011 20:59

Thanks for doing the stats Bee am very excited to be on a list! Congratulations LolaAnn :)

Am inspired to go out and buy teas. Don't think my DH will be making any trips for me either littleblueboat putting the kettle on is as good as it gets here tonight.

LittleBlueBoat · 18/04/2011 21:02

Also DH is in bed with Air and they are both snoring their heads off.

DH said he would get them tomoro Angry gerr

Men just dont understand - ok my DH just does not understand. He was great first time around now second he just dont care. He didn't even come to midwife booking in appointment Shock

Hi everyone! A bit late, but wanted to say hello.

I'm preg with first edd 9th dec. Excited but scared too! Got my first mid wife app on wed which is exciting. Feeling sick - a lot - and loads of stomach cramps / twinges which is a bit worrying!

Finding it hard not telling peeps and having to make excuses for not drinking!

silver28 · 18/04/2011 22:20

Hi I'm 31 and it'll be DC2 for me. Well done for doing this keeping track stuff bee, you're braver than me!

xstitch · 18/04/2011 22:32

Thanks for doing the stats bee.

Hope you get work sorted out blue that is not on him sending nasty e-mails.

Is anyone else very tired yet unable to sleep?

LolaAnn · 19/04/2011 01:05

um.. me. In fact so tired yet unable to sleep I just heard people stealing the parking sensors and bumper from our car :( Hubby yelled out the window and they ran but the police showed up.. no sign of them though... Goodbye more money..

adalle · 19/04/2011 01:28

Keep your peckers up mr & mrs LolaAnn - we got burgled in the early hours one xmas eve many moons ago, i spotted them because i couldnt sleep so i stayed up wrapping pressies and our faithful dog at the time hid under the bed and DH ran after them slipped on ice and nearly broke something! The thief escaped across gardens the police turned up and went we are not going after him! It was nothing like the tv police shows.

I agree pregnancy insomnia is pants. feel very very sick this morning which is not a good thing, DP said the most useful thing 'Don't be sick'

Think he's looking forward to the booking in tomorrow he's working from home.

Cherrypi · 19/04/2011 07:51

Sorry about your burglary lola ann. Just had my first cup of decaff pg tips. Not bad. Miss the caffeine though. Oi MN stop showing reduced price wine adverts. Have a good tuesday everyone.

florizella · 19/04/2011 09:17

Sorry to hear about nasty thieves LolaAnn, its all stressful enough as it is!

Sorry also for peeps with PND, sounds crap. As yet have no kids, though this is my fourth pg, don't think being down after mc counts. Strawberries family helped me though that, hopefully your family will make it easier for you. ((hugs))

Thankfully MS much worse than before, am told this is a good sign though have no idea how I'll cope with work! (Lucky I'm on holiday atm, am a teacher)

LB1982 · 19/04/2011 09:25

Morning all :)

I'm 6 weeks today. I worked out that I'm due 13 December but midwife said 14 December. I feel a lot more than 6 weeks though - My abdomen feels like it's going to explode!! Anyone else had this? It feels like I'm housing a bowling ball :( I'm also a lot 'bigger' in the belly area!

I'm wondering if maybe I'm further along or are some of you guys feeling the same?

And I seriously need some new brassieres already!!!!

jomouse · 19/04/2011 09:26

Morning all - hope you're all doing well
The insomnia is killing me - I nearly cracked with some sleeping pills that i had left over from work travels but thought sensible thoughts and put them away...
I'm going on holiday next week which should be fantastic but I'm going with a lot of partying types who are up for drinking till dawn and clubbing. And a few of them smoke - bleuurrghh.
I don't think theres any way I'll be keeping it all secret from them. And its South of France which, to me, is all wine and cheese and seafood. Safe to say I'm not looking forward to this holiday as much as I would normally be but it will still be nice to get away from work for a bit.
Two working days left!
Interested to hear about PND from folks here - I'm susceptible to depression anyway and tend to "battle on through" in state of misery. I need to find out more about warning signs to look out for - can anyone share (if its not too personal)?
