HI everyone, I know it is very early but I got a very faint positve line this morning, and another at lunch, and another at tea time! Was not due AF till Thurs but was meant to be going for a proceedure that involved radiation tomorrow so needed to do checks and here I am, and there I will not be! I have already got 2 and not told OH yet but need to tell somebody! Anyone else yet?

Cuttlefish Grin

Strawbs Only about 45mins/1hr drive from me. I live on the west sussex & hampshire border.

DD is pushing her luck this afternoon, having to count to 10 alot :(
Tired and craving apple juice, apple pie - think this bambino will be an apple when it comes time to give birth lol.

Wonder if the dr will book me in for an early scan just so I know everythings alright and then I can tell my sister, as our dresses come this week!

jomouse · 17/04/2011 17:14

Cuttlefish - paid through the nose for an early pregnancy scan like a mug, worth it tho.

Oh ladies, the hormones! Went to see a dear friend and her husband and daughter today. Her daughter was born Dec last year. Well, I don't know what happened but I BURST into tears when I saw the baby. Had to go and control myself in the loo and then came back later with red eyes and snuffles. I don't know what they must have thought, I was totally overcome. Tragic. Anyone else getting hit like this with emotions?

WAARRRGHHH!

jomouse · 17/04/2011 17:19

Oh, I'm in North London

xstitch · 17/04/2011 17:28

DP keeps telling me to be happy, I seem ratty. Not ratty just tired :(

Missgiraffe1 · 17/04/2011 18:39

I'm in Scotland xstitch! Lovely sunny day, although I'm not seeing much of it as looking after my poorly dad. He's had the shingles, &now some Nasty tummy bug. Didn't know I was pregnant when he had shingles. Ooops.
Eating, peeing, &feeling emotional/irrational. Burst into tears earlier as DH had poured my nephew's leftover weetabix down the toilet and hadn't flushed it!!

jomouse · 17/04/2011 19:25

Strawberries I'm in Highgate. My DH's rentals are also in Barnet

mystarchild · 17/04/2011 19:58

xstitch · 17/04/2011 20:05

FleeBee · 17/04/2011 20:11

Hi ladies, very sadly I now have to leave this thread. Unfortunately things didn't work out for us this time. I'm still in shock really and won't say much more.

I wish everyone the best of luck for December, will be thinking of you all xxxx

Missgiraffe1 · 17/04/2011 20:14

mystarchild I'm about 25 miles from Glasgow.
Sorry to hear you're so sick, hope it passes soon. I've escaped the MS so far (should maybe not be tempting fate!)
This is also my second, my DD is 15 will be 15 in June!
Had an ectopic last year, so counting down the days until scan date to have peace of mind that bean is in the right place this time.

xstitch · 17/04/2011 20:16

Oh so sorry flee Hope you have plenty of real life support.

I ma not that far from Glasgow either. I've not been sick either just occasional waves of nausea keep worrying about lack of symptoms. This is my second too.

BlueCrane · 17/04/2011 21:37

Firstly flee so so sorry to hear your news - hope you're ok?

Evening all...just been catching up as I was out all day yesterday and busy today too (though this afternoon's busyness was sleeping Smile think the tiredness is starting to kick in) My boobs are sooo sore, v uncomfortable at night too! And the cramps continue, oh and I had an overemotional moment last night too...plus feeling v sick at the smell of my friend's baby's milk when I was giving her her bottle yesterday!

Was sooo nice to finally see it in writing yesterday! So difficult not to say anything to my friend I spent the day with yesterday - she was so fishing for news too! We did tell one friend each this morning though (they're married to each other so v handy) and was great for both of us to be able to chat to someone! I might even get some of her work clothes that she used when pg too which will be handy as am still v bloated!

I'm going back to docs tomorrow and will ask to see a different doc and will at least 'make a comment' about the doc last week!

sevendwarves · 17/04/2011 21:58

So sorry flee, I hope you're ok.

Is anyone else who already has a DC really struggling with tiredness? I can't remember being anywhere near this tired last time.

BlueCrane · 17/04/2011 22:14

Seven I know my friends really struggled with tiredness with DC2 as they just couldn't seem to get the space to rest and take it easy in the same way they did when pg with DC1...not sure how I'd cope running around after a little one at the moment...

muskver · 17/04/2011 23:01

Hello, can I join in? Found out I was pregnant two weeks ago and they have been the longest two weeks of my life, feels like I found out months ago. It's my first time pregnant...

Already accidentally told a couple of friends because they asked me outright and I'm rubbish at lying... getting better at it though!

Getting period-like and stabbing pains but keeping my fingers crossed it's in the right place and doing ok.

muskver · 17/04/2011 23:03

In North London btw

adalle · 18/04/2011 00:27

Oh so sorry flee

ChinngisKhan · 18/04/2011 01:19

Am very sorry flee - please look after yourself.

Welcome muskver it's my first time too! I am absolutely terrible at lying, so I know how you feel. DP and myself tend to spend Sunday afternoons in the pub and I know my friends will catch on soon, as I am usually the one downing Gin & Tonics! Just going to brazen it out and if questioned tell them I am on a health kick in preparation for a marathon I am supposed to be doing in September.

ChinngisKhan · 18/04/2011 01:22

I won't be doing the marathon any more, by the way!

I am a little bit Sad but also quite relieved to have an excuse not to do it now - 40km over a desert did seem like a bit of a silly idea at the time!

Is anyone else here a runner?

BeeMyBaby · 18/04/2011 06:34

Jan9ne thank you so much for telling me your experiences as it really REALLY reassured me - before reading that I was in panic crying mode. I have had a tiny bit more blood (tiny tiny) on sunday morning and this morning so I am going to make an appointment with my GP this week.

plupedantic I thought about phoning nhs direct but the last few times DH has phoned they have told him to go to A&E - after internet scrolling its seemed if it was going to be an MC, then if bleeding has occurred then its game over already, so no point rushing to A&E.

So peed off with the doctors!! Just rang them to make another appointment now I have my digi and they've now said I live too far away for their midwives to visit so I have to move doctors practices to one closer to home!!! Why couldn't they have told me that last week Angry am going to write a formal complaint now as all I want to do is register that I'm pregnant and get things moving with apps at the hospital etc and really don't need this stress!! I've been with that practice for 8 years and they used to be great but think there's been a change of management recently!
