HI everyone, I know it is very early but I got a very faint positve line this morning, and another at lunch, and another at tea time! Was not due AF till Thurs but was meant to be going for a proceedure that involved radiation tomorrow so needed to do checks and here I am, and there I will not be! I have already got 2 and not told OH yet but need to tell somebody! Anyone else yet?

mizzundastood - it's very common. I have almost no friends with children who didn't have some spotting and went on to have healthy babies. I had spotting and a clot at 8 weeks with my 3 year old. It is scary though there's no denying that. The fact that you have lots of symptoms is a very good sign.

Another beautiful day.

I can't stop eating sweet things. This isn't good. I was the same with my DD and took ages to lose the weight. The fact that i kept stuffing my face after she was born didn't help either!

Jan9ne · 10/04/2011 09:59

girlwiththemouseyhair - enjoy the wedding.

I really miss wine - boohoo. I could easily still drink as v few symptoms yet. Bloating (nice) and nipples like bullets! Symptoms haven't kicked in til 8 weeks before.

Have a great day everyone.

Snowdropfairy · 10/04/2011 10:32

My nipples hurt and i'm still feeding son. Its so painful Sad

I had bleeding at 6weeks with my 1st and i had a scan it showed bean with haret beat and bleeding the other side. It stoped in a day or two and i had son who is now 2 yo.

Then i had bleeding at 21 week and it turned out i had a polip (sp?) on my cervix that would bleed for no reason!

The spoting might just be from your cervix being irratated by hormones.

Its very common to spot in pg. I was very worried and upset so i had a scan at 6 weeks to put my mind at rest but there was a lot of blood.

Spoting is normally fine and most people have some. It could be the egg implanting, which is very good.

Hope everyone has a lovly day in the nice sunshine Smile

i feel soooooooooooooooooo siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick

LadyOfTheManor · 10/04/2011 11:31

Is anyone 7 weeks or less and experiencing sickness? It's just with ds I had it from about 3 weeks and now (7 weeks) I've had nothing. I dunno if I'm tempting fate and it'll kick in soon.

LauraSmurf · 10/04/2011 11:47

I know what your saying Lady! I have sore boobs, a bit of bloating, but other than that not a lot!

It seems so stupid to be almsot wishing for morning sickness to make it tangible. But if i had it im sure i would be wishing it would go away!

LadyOfTheManor · 10/04/2011 11:58

Oh I'm glad I don't have it this time round (as of yet). Have started to show though :( bit grim as I didn't want to tell anyone until 12 weeks.

girlsyearapart · 10/04/2011 13:02

Hi everyone can I join?
Expecting number 4.
Have a due date of dec 6 according to Internet prediction..

Have 3 lovely girls who are 3.5,2.5 and 8 months
This will be the last!!

Tjuice · 10/04/2011 13:50

Hello can I join too?

According to my scan on Friday, I am 7 weeks 4 days and saw a little heartbeat.
We are still a bit in shock as it seems like only a couple of weeks ago I took the morning-after pill... Confused

But must have somewhat got my head around it, as I did buy a new mountain buggy stroller on ebay this week...

I am British but live in Copenhagen, am 35 years and have a DD, who will be 3 in June.

I am so sick with this one, its almost unbearable and I'm not sure how I will get through the next 5 weeks, working full-time in advertising...

Luckily I'm going home to my parents in Surrey on Thursday for Easter so am looking forward to that. Just wish I could magic myself there, rather than have an after-work flight, on my own with DD and boaking up into random bins all the way!

Poulette · 10/04/2011 16:14

Hello all, can I join too ! I just got a BFP, and a due date of 17 December according to the MN predictor...so it's the December bus for me!

Still hugely in shock, this is my first! Not sure how I'm going to sit on this monumental news for the next 8 weeks so it will be lovely to chat to you all.

Bloated and boobs growing by the minute (sorry TMI!), but no sickness as yet thank goodness.

Anyway, it's nice to meet all you fellow Decemberers.

LoveACuppaTea · 10/04/2011 17:55

Hello how's everyone doing?

I'm 5 weeks and 3 days but look about 3 months! Only symptoms are big big boobs and light cramping/funny feelings! Oh and bloating! Xx

googietheegg · 10/04/2011 18:57

Hello all! Just coming to terms with the fact that I am actually pregnant! Haven't told anyone yet and don't plan to for a few weeks, but I am feeling pretty exhausted and often a bit dizzy. No spotting or sickness, but boobs are v painful - maybe time to sleep in a bra!!

WHat are you all doing about eating and drinking? I've not had any booze, other than about three tiny sips so I didn't have say 'I'm not drinking', and am having decaf coffee and no pate etc, but what about tea? Are you drinking tea like normal, can you even buy decaf tea? Can you drink decaf as much as you like? And can you have Mcdonald's Mcflurry's ?? I'm really craving one but I'm sure I read you can't have soft ice cream.

xstitch · 10/04/2011 21:28

I am 5+1 and I am feeling more or less the same as you loveacuppa I have been worrying I don't have enough symptoms. I need to keep reminding myself it is still very early days. My boobs are more heavier rather than bigger IYSWIM, they were quite big to start with mind you.

You can buy decaf tea, Tetly definitely do one. Tea does have less caffeine than coffee in general though. I don't think you can have soft ice cream. I think its something to do with the temperature they store it at. I know what you mean though googie I really fancied a cream egg mcflurry the other day. Probably just as well I don't want to try and get things to fit with putting on flab as well as baby weight.

LoveACuppaTea · 10/04/2011 21:42

Glad u feel like me xstitch! I have big boobs too! Haha! I've gone from a 34E to a 34F in 3 days!! My nipples arnt sore tho its the sides and bottom and yeah they feel heavy!

No sign of morning sickness at all tho!

BeeMyBaby · 10/04/2011 21:42

I don't drink alcohol anyway so no problems there, and just drinking tea as normal, otherwise I would just fall asleep at work, but I am staying away from coffee. Last time I stupidly cut down on tea and drank lots of irn bru instead, not realising it has far more cafeine in it than my weak tea- my lesson to just stick to tea.

adalle · 10/04/2011 23:35

Hi folks I got BFP this week, bit of a shock as i thought it was the menopause did two tests to be sure, saw doc and due 9 Dec. Bit flabbergasted I'm 48 and never planned to have kids. DH is in denial, shock and grumpy!! This spoils all his early retirement plans. It's early days yet I know so going with the flow for now. huge shock to the few I've told too including my GP.

I couldn't stop laughing and I'm still bemused.

googietheegg · 11/04/2011 08:19

Wow adalle, congratulations!

Morning all. Congratulations to all the BFPs - adalle that is very exciting news, entertained by your bemusement Grin.

Just feeling a bit icky these days. Nothing awful, just a bit of nausea, euch, hope it doesn't linger too long. Have now told immediate family (mine and DH's parents and sisters) but no plans to tell anyone else til 12 week scan done, though do have a couple of social occasions which will prob give game away to some people as it's not like me not to have a wee glass of wine at such events!

Hope everyone had a great sunshiney weekend.

Jan9ne · 11/04/2011 09:13

Wow adalle - congratulations - and, of course congratulations to us all.

Your menopause bit made me smile adalle. I'm 39 but rather than thinking i was pg this month was convinced i was going through an early menopause. Been googling etc and was going to make a gp appt about it when i thought i ought to take a test and there it was (4 tests actually) 4 bfps!

What's weird is dh and i had accepted that we would only have the one lovely dd, as after losing a tube via a ruptured ectopic 18 months ago and then a m/c a year ago we pretty much thought that was it.

Another thing that made me so surprised this month and made me entertain thoughts of early menopause was because i was sure i hadn't ovulated, no cm whatsoever and no positive ov stick. I had some weird spotting about ten days after we bd (implantation i realise now) but which made me think my cycle was up the spout. Also we only bd twice in the whole month! (Apols if tmi!) I still can't quite believe it. Hubby won't really talk about it as he's afraid of jinxing it and the heartache following the ectopic (i nearly died during the op) and then the m/c makes it quite hard to really be positive about it. I've only told my mum. Apart from here no one else knows.

I am obsessively checking the tissue every time i wipe and generally driving myself mad! I don't have any symptoms apart from weeing every hour during the night - so annoying - and tiredness.
With my daughter and the ectopic nausea kicked in at exactly 8 weeks. so - if i make it that far - i have a couple more weeks to go.
I am due 8/9 dec and i think that makes me 5+4? The due date calculators seem to vary between those two dates.

Just re-read my post and this is very me, myself and I - i do apologise but this is the only place i have at the moment where i can vent!!!

Vix1980 · 11/04/2011 09:37
