Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
CazandBelle · 09/04/2011 21:31

Two days now of feeling better here. No sickness at all yesterday or today - which worries me. I felt a bit sick first thing in the morning but fine as soon as I've eaten... Roll on next scan!!! 9+3 today.

KnitterInTheNW · 09/04/2011 21:41

I had two bowls of cornflakes for tea, that's all I fancied!

ochaye · 10/04/2011 08:34

Morning everyone! Apologies before I start for the me, me, me post ... I'm afraid I'm just dropping in to say goodbye. I started bleeding yesterday and it's been fairly constant since. I'm frustrated, disappointed and very, very sad. I managed my last miscarriage ok because I'd had one before and knew I could get pregnant and have a healthy baby afterwards. But two in a row is new for me. I'm thinking about it too much and getting myself all confused.

I hope with all my heart that I'm the last person to leave this thread. You're such a lovely group of ladies and I'll miss you all ... but will check in in November for all the baby news!

Look after yourselves!

TwoJackRussellsandabean · 10/04/2011 09:00

Ochaye,

so sorry to hear your news look after yourself and hopefully next time things will work out better.

Hope you are looked after and spoiled by everyone in RL.

lktoday5 · 10/04/2011 09:03

caz i'm 9 + 6 and had pretty much a week of no sickness and no tiredness until friday, then it was back with a vengeance - have spent most of the weekend asleep! Think its body adjusting to hormones and then baby whacking us round the head with a new lot!

ochaye sending you hugs and healing thoughts and echoing what twojack said

H007 · 10/04/2011 09:15

Ochaye I totally feel for you :( best of luck for the future.

BuffyFan · 10/04/2011 09:42

Ochaye so sorry to hear that. Sad Nothing any of us can say can make it better, but I hope you've got a good support network around you.

chipmonkey · 10/04/2011 10:11

Just back from hols.

So sorry to see bad news from ochaye and Piply Sad

Look after yourselves and hope for sticky beans soon.

Had a nice time in Tenerife, managed to burn my chest as it was overcast the first day and I didn't realise how strong the sun is in the Canaries even on an overcast day.

Had a fair bit of brown bleeding while away which meant that swimming was out. I had thought the blood was fairly light but it was enough to come through my costume and onto my white shorts so I had to wear normal clothes with a pad while out in the sun.

My obs did say the empty sac might cause some bleeding and my nausea and vomiting are still very much present. So I'm trying not to worry and don't really want to keep scanning and scanning the poor baby so will leave it till my nuchal scan unless the blood changes to red.

cep · 10/04/2011 10:42

ochaye am so sorry hon. i hope you're getting lots of support in rl.

chip glad you had a nice holiday. Sad for the burn and bleeding though.

WuzzAndBuddy · 10/04/2011 13:19

ochaye, sorry to hear your news, take care of yourself, you'll get there xx

LK, I think I have the sofas sorted... cross your fingers, should be going this afternoon... I ended up putting them on freecycle which I didn't really want to do, would have liked to get something for them, but hey ho...
Sorry to hear no ones around for your scan, one of the joys of our lifestyle isn't it? Whens DP due back, roughly? Can you postpone the scan? I know you'll be bursting but it'd be nice for you both to go.

MooseyMoo, MIL bought DS this pool for his first birthday, had balls in it in the house and then a couple of inches of water in it in the summer outside, he loved it, wouldn't get out! Grin
And its a bargain price!

Knitter, I've had cornflakes for dinner on more than one occasion recently... Blush
Have also eaten Mozzarella and beetroot for dinner one night... cos thats all I fancied!

Poppet45 · 10/04/2011 14:06

Ochaye, I'm so sorry. A second miscarriage is just so unfair. Please take care and be gentle to yourself during this horrid time. I so hope this is the last time you have to endure this heartbreak.

MooseyMoo · 10/04/2011 14:31

ochaye so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you and your partner.

alicat thanks for the swimming pool tip!

Wuzz That's the swimming pool I've just ordered Smile Am also looking for pressie's that the grandparents can buy and am thinking of a rocking horse (as DD loves her bouncy chair) and the Leap Frog learn and groove table.

Hope everyone else is enjoying the sunny weekend.

goldmaple · 10/04/2011 16:24

Ochaye so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself anf FX crossed that you have a sticky bean very soon

cazandbelle I'm 9+5 today and I have been feeling pretty good for the last few days as well. Still have a food aversion (to everything) but maybe we're over the worst of it?:) or not as lktoday is getting sick again at 9+6. I think the hormones come in surges, but I'm enjoying feeling good well I can.

Went to bed at 8:50 last night... then woke up at 3:30 and couldn't sleep for an hour... Work is really cutting into my nap time:)

Enjoy the weekend!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 10/04/2011 16:56

Ochaye am so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself. Life is very unfair sometimes.

Chip hope you are OK and bleeding stops soon. Have a hug.

Not much to report here. 8+4, scan a week on Wednesday, booking in a week on Monday. Flying to Glasgow tomorrow for work, back late tomorrow night, and have to say I just can't be arsed! Up at 5am, back around 8pm, meetings all day. dreading it.

Sooooooo tired. Am very Blush that DP watched the grand prix downstairs this morning and I stayed in bed with DD just watching cbeebies until 11am. So wrong with the lovely sun but I was so tired! Made it out today but home shortly and then DP and I had a massive row about parenting styles (in that I set boundaries that are fair, IMO, but DP expects DD to behave impeccably (at 2.5) and gets very shouty cross when she doen't do as she's told)
Sigh.

Just want to sleep.

Hello to all, better get my arse into gear and do tea.

HotCrossChocolateBunny · 10/04/2011 17:08

Fuck.

Bleeding bright red and with jelly like bits. slight cramping.

Not looking good, eh?

FUCK.

Bluetinkerbell · 10/04/2011 17:13

HotCross don't panic... phone NHSdirect or the doctor on call or maternity ward, they will tell you what to do.
Thinking of you!

cep · 10/04/2011 17:15

hotcross i'm sorry you're bleeding, can you get to an a+e tonight or to the dr's tomorrow?

mrsa that's so like mine he hates mess and untidyness (he hates living with me, i'm the messiest person ever.) ds tipped his thomas bubble thing upside down and dh got really angry with him about it. he also hates the fact that ds is energetic (dss is so not and never has been) and doesn't do as he's told. He just thinks he's really naughty. dss was the type of child even at 2 if you put him down he'd stay, wasn't brave enough to go anywhere, now he's 8 nearly 9 and in age 13 clothes (admittedly his mum buys him clothes to grow into so a little bit big but still would need an 11 - 12 yrs.)

HotCrossChocolateBunny · 10/04/2011 17:15

Sorry, it's me, Deemented. Seasonal name change and that...

Just on my own with the kids - sorting them out some dinner, Manshape won't be back until after seven.

cep · 10/04/2011 17:20

dee i was thinking of you earlier. oh i'm so sorry hon. have you got anyone that can come round to look after them for a little while? can't remember where you live but do you have one of those walk in epu's nearby?

HotCrossChocolateBunny · 10/04/2011 17:21

No, our EPU is only open 8-30 while 11, mon to sat. I'm going to give it half an hour and if the cramping carries on i'll ring NHS direct.

cep · 10/04/2011 17:24

during my last pg when i had a bleed, a+e got the epu to call me on the monday to book a scan. Maybe the NHS direct can do the same. I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

WuzzAndBuddy · 10/04/2011 17:37

Oh Dee Sad

Fingers crossed you can be seen really soon by someone, call NHS direct, probably won't get anywhere today but at least they could start the ball rolling for tomorrow.
Hope the kids are behaving and you're able to take it fairly easy?
((hugs))

oneveryhappymama · 10/04/2011 17:51

Hotcross, thinking of you and i hope it's just a fluke and nothing serious, but you should defo call NHS direct. Fingers crossed xx

Katiebeau · 10/04/2011 18:53

Ochaye - so sorry Sad you had to go through that again. Bloody unfair and crap. Hugs.

Dee - I hope it's all OK. FX for you. I hope you get help tonight xxx

All quiet here. Shattered. 11 weeks - 5 sleeps until nuchal.

Poppet45 · 10/04/2011 19:08

Oh no Dee it's you! Oh gosh I hope it stops, and things calm down for you. Horrid scary medical things always happen on a sodding Sunday.... argh.
