YES jbells, I am SO fed up now just want it over with.

Bump now appears all out front and almost as if its strapped on and moves independantly! Dh has started calling me CHRIS as in WADDLE!

Got physio again on Tuesday, the belt i was given by the physio for the SPD isnt the miracle cure i was hoping for. It helps with the scary feeling that i may fall over but if i wear it too much i have noticed i feel light headed! Thankfully my lovely BIL has started doing school pick up a bit more for me so i dont have to walk up school more than twice a week and DH is coming home to do pick ups when he can too!

Have noticed a stitch like pain really low down which is stopping me in my tracks right now though :0(

Just waiting for 5th April now so we can get our date for the CS.

Still need to pack my hospital bag and need to book to get bikini wax although im now thinking of just taking the whole lot of hairy mess off with some hair removal cream and be done with it! LOL

Sleeping is also an issue here. My natural waking time appears to be between 4-4:30 and its EVERY mornign without fail, i have to crouch to the toilet (standing up straight hurts to much) and then spend about 40 minutes getting comfy again and waking at 7 when alarm goes off. Im struggling to get comfy on sofa too so am spending evenings in bed. Last night me and DH both went to sleep by 9:30pm BUT DH is being lovely and i spent from 2-6 in bed this afternoon!
Have noticed my ankles swelling but am putting it down to the unusual warmer weather! I even wore a dress the other day!!!!!!!!!!
Had to go out and buy a couple of tops today as am struggling with clothes......went for the 'fitted at top and flaired out' ones in the hhope i can wear them after baby born too!

jbells · 26/03/2011 21:22

Glad its not just me was starting to think i was bein pathetic. I feel so wingy today want to cry at everything. Also feling bad for dd as by 6 im so tired and fed up and she still wants to run around and play. My date for cs isnt till the 5th of may when ill be 37wks :( really wish i cud have a date nw. Bonkers it must n even worse for u and others suffering witj.spd atleast i shud count myself lucky im just uncomfy and not in lots of pain

Tinwe · 27/03/2011 09:18

Good morning all! Sorry no name checking, on phone right now.

Second day of packing for me with our move tomorrow. Found out last night that we'll have no phone or internet for 21 days after the move which is scary as I'll be 36 weeks I think on Monday so really hope she doesn't arrive early as our house has poor mobile reception :( also means I won't be able to come on mumsnet (even via my phone) when I can't sleep at night. House is still a building site too but have to move anyway so I'm anticipating chaos for next 2 weeks at least... Will say hello again and catch up on thread when I can.

Sorry to hear so many of you are uncomfortable, you have my empathy. I am so worried about being a pathetic first timer that I try not to worry when I hurt, or bother the midwife etc. My flare up of SPD has eased a little, thank goodness and mat leave starts on Thursday but I'm still very uncomfortable and that combined with worries about the move makes sleeping unlikely. I can't imagine doing this with other little ones in tow, well done all existing mummies - I just have to rest when I need to right now.

After toying with a home birth, I'm now definitely going for a MLU birth... The house is in chaos and I really want a water birth to help with SPD. Well done to those who see it through.

Well, bye for now all. Hopefully I'll be back before Bean appears!

linziluv · 27/03/2011 12:02

pootros...I haven't plucked up enough courage to tell the neighbors yet! I managed a 40 hr labour first time round without making noise so hoping will be the same lol.
Really must start getting organized...I literally have bought nothing!
Does anyone else have a tender bruised spot on their bump?? It hurts more when on my feet and feels like it's stretching. So uncomfortable.
Getting depressed about weight gain...4 1/2 stone last time I checked! "D"P said you're the biggest I've ever seen you! Hmm I'm just so hungry all the time!
I like this hour going forward...DS slept in till 10:50am...of course I was up at 7 but was nice to start my morning with something other than Milkshake!
7 1/2 weeks left...going sooo slow now!

saldoozer · 27/03/2011 13:05

Hi,
I haven't posted on this thread before, i'm due on the 4th may with my first, which simutainouously feels too far away and too near.
I too have been waking up about 4.30 and taking ages to get back to sleep, i have been breathless for months and really need to sort out all the junk in our house before the baby gets here.
I'm looking forward to starting maternity leave on wednesday (35 weeks) as work hasn't been easy the last couple of months (advanced pregnancy combined the hospital where I work moving into a new building)
Anyway its nice to know that lots of people struggle with the last bit.

runningmonkey · 27/03/2011 19:27

Hi sal welcome to the thread.

jbells as you can see you're not alone. I can add my whinging to the masses too.

Good luck with the move tinwe

Hope the hypnobirthing course went well pootros I am another one keen on the natal CDs. Must dig them out actually, might help with the raging insomnia

Have totally overdone it today. Decided to plant some seeds in the garden with DD and don't think Hoe-ing was a v good idea - went for a short stroll this pm with DH and DD and was bent double with BH ctx. Think a few passers by thought I might be in labour! That coupled with (sorry tmi) horrendous constipation is making me v uncomfortable.

Picking up an ebay bargain double buggy tomorrow - a year old Maclaren techno XT for under £50 :o means we've got options if sling doesn't work for me. Car seat is coming from trusted friend so we're all sorted I think! Then off to mw to chat about birth options... have almost convinced DH hb is a good idea :o

Right DD is yelling for milk. Hello to everyone, hope you have all had a nice weekend.

JBrd · 27/03/2011 20:21

I'll join you all with the sleeping issues and SPD... I wake up at 4-5am and struggle to get back to sleep, getting up and turning over has become a lot more difficult, just trying to settle down in bed gets me huffing and puffing. And it hurts to walk, get up or down on a chair etc - wondering if this is SPD or could it be signs of baby starting to engage?

Had my first NCT class on Saturday, it was really enjoyable and useful, some nice people there! And it's quite nice to be able to talk pregnancy and baby stuff all the time with people who're in the same situation.

Bought the paint for the nursery today, but I have no idea when we'll get around actually doing the painting... Ah well, baby won't know/care anyway!

cowboylover · 27/03/2011 23:03

We loaded up the car with charity shop/skip/stuff to go to mums and finally cleared out the little room so starting the paining tomorrow and getting really excited to see it all come together!

Got another scan tomorrow so will see how she has grown, getting to big to fit nicely on the scan pic now.

My friend had her 2nd baby on Friday and was a real suprise. Spent the afternoon in the park with her Ds then I saw her in the chippy at 5.30 getting tea and had a text at 6.50 to say she had DS number 2! I hope i can do that!

ilovemydogandMrObama · 28/03/2011 04:03

Not sure what it's called, but my entire pelvis/back is painful. It's so painful to get up and walking is such a struggle. May go to chiropractor later this morning.

Insomia. Ugh. Doesn't help that DD (4) has night coughs and finds it helpful to climb into my bed. I've asked her to go back to hers, and she cries, 'but I love you...' Sad Smile. Fortunately DH is on nights, so will be around tomorrow and can take DS (3) out for a bit so I can have at nap.

eurgh......my facebook statuses are all full off doom and gloom and whining and moaning.....im not this person!

Had a rough night last night. Daytime was ok, tidied house with help of kids (well what else are they good for ;0)) and then just rested all day really BUT come 7pm last night i started getting tummy cramps and back ache :0(
Couldnt get comfy on sofa so transferred upstairs at 8pm and the pains lasted till nearly 9pm although became less frequent they were still painful and the tops of my legs ached like i had ran a marathon!

HAve woke this morning (4:47am!) and have now been sick twice and just feel yucky. Head is fuzzy and eyes are straining :0( luckily i have no plans today (well i do have only 14 days left to write my essay report thing but tutor hasnt got back to me so that can wait) but im not sure trying to sleep is going to be worthwhile!

moan moan moan moan blah blah blah blah..........sorry :0)

linziluv · 28/03/2011 08:43

I've had an awful pain under right breast since yesterday...feels a bit stitch like but not...I'm not worrying as Dr Google says it's normal in pregnancy but I need some relief! It's hard enough to get comfy at the best of times!
Work today...so not looking forward to it!
Hope everyone is well?!

Oops....sorry for posting twice!!

Yorkstar · 28/03/2011 13:16

Jbells i feel bloody miserable too. Am 35 + 5 now and been feeling like this for a couple of weeks. Im up on average at least 5 times a night for a wee that i don't need, combined with heartburn and painful spd. Im sick of listening to myself moan so dh must be sick too :o

I finish work on Fri and cannot wait, am hoping to be able to maybe catch up on a hours sleep or two in the day from then.

Sounds like a few of us are having a rough time of late, hope you have stopped being sick Bonkerz

cowboylover · 28/03/2011 13:24

I managed to stay awake til I literally passed out and slept til 7.30 so a happy lady today!

Off for my scan now so catch up later x

runningmonkey · 28/03/2011 13:56

Oh bonkerz I hope you are feeling better.

linziluv I had some excrutiating rib pain with DD which subsided when she moved to a better position. I don't want to worry you though but stitch-like pain should be kept an eye on in case of pre-eclampsia so if you are worried, ring your mw.

Hope your scan went ok cowboy and glad you had a good night's sleep.

Well bargain double buggy picked up - it really is like new so felt v guilty at taking off the couple for such a small amount of money but I guess that's what happens with ebay isn't it. Have washed all the covers and things even though they didn't really need it (nesting, moi?!) and they are now blowing on the line :o DD is very excited about sharing the new buggy with the new baby!

Also had a mw appointment this morning. She said she would book me in for a double appointment for after the next scan to talk birth options but looked positively excited about the prospect of a hb to deal with :) AM measuring bang on for dates and she reckoned head was 3/5 engaged which is certainly feels like today but said its common in subsequent pg's for the baby to pop up and down out of the pelvis over the next few weeks which sounds delightful!

Right due to visit a friend for a cuppa in 10 mins so better go rouse DD from her nap - should be fun!

missp2010 · 28/03/2011 19:31

Hello all, is there room for one more? I often go on the general 'pregnancy' page but I didn't realise this one even existed.

I'm 33 weeks today with DC3. Already have DD-4 and DS-2.

I'm generally feeling ok at the moment, although time seems to have almost stopped completely! I can't believe it's going so incredibly slowly! I felt dreadful with previous two pregnancies and am so relieved that hasn't happened this time.

I feel bad to complain in my first post but I'm hoping you ladies may be able to cheer me up. I stupidly weighed myself at the doctors waiting room last week and have already put on two stones Shock I have also noticed a big increase in the amount of people saying things along the lines of "oh look at you, can't be log left now?!" Four people did it today. FOUR!! I must be really huge :( Is anyone else putting on lots of weight? I was swimming three times a week but haven't been recently as am so tired by the evening and haven't got childcare to go during the day.

I haven't decided how to get the baby out yet, DD was an emcs and DS an elcs. I haven't seen the consultant yet but midwives seem to think a vbac would be fine. Although after so many comments on my size I'm thinking I may wimp out and go for another elcs! (DD and DS were both big).

Sorry to write an essay! Looking forward to getting to know you all.

p.s has anyone popped yet?

jbells · 28/03/2011 19:49

Welcome mussp. No one has popped yet altho im sure it wont b long. If i makes u feel any better i have put on around 25 lb so almost two stone and im 32 weeks :( felt like i wad doing well but ive gained around 8lb in the past few wks i hope it doesnt carry on plus im only 5ft1 so the weight really shows on me :(

Runningmonkey that wad a goid bargain well.done

Bonkerz: I am struggling to know what to write besides the fact of being awake at stupid o'clock and not because I have been partying or hospital appointments ect

linziluv: That does not sound nice at all, but if Dr Google says its fine it must be because he can be very scary/brutal at the best of times!

running: Bargain! Great that DD is excited about sharing, lon may that continue. I have tried to wash some of the baby stuff and now washing machine is on the blink and i have never been so keen to put any on in my life, damm nesting Confused

missp: Welcome, due the the day after me so there are a few of us close together. Must be nice feeling better witht he 3rd, I have been feeling like mine will be an only child if its like this but nice to know not all the same. (no smiley for nosey but) how big where your babies before?
I hate the stupid comments from toally stupid people who know nothing! Sorry thats harsh but after being convinced I was huge I went to aquanatal and my bump was one of the smallest and described as 'neat' now being a big girl this was a 1st for me and I would have loved to do a line up photo Gok Wang style as we where all so different!

Had another scan today and now only one more til she arrives. All good, growing well, big head like her dad, still a girl and might have just been me but I think shes very cute already and now looks like a little person not strange out of poportion alien style. 7 weeks left and now and est weight of 5lb so now trying to guess the weight at birth.

Now putting the 1st layer of paint on the nursery so we have progress but especially must be done before my weekly dose of OBEM later Smile

I found something before with weight averages on and if they weigh so much this week they will be x at term but can't remember where I saw it now!

OBEM this week I thought I was going to cry loads of times! Reassuring at times to know that at 34 weeks little Gino was fine after a week looking after him.

I thought it was the last one but sky plus has series linked something for next week as well so not sure what this is!
