Took it upon myself to start a new thread. Everyone's popping right now!

PS: Sorry for the awful rhyme, it was all I could think of Blush

knitta, hope things start to speed up a bit soon!

MWs just been round to do A's heel prick test, now we're off to the register office to get her registered quick so we can start sorting her passport! Then once that's done we can get her Canadian citizenship too.

janedoe25 · 04/03/2011 13:52

I am humbled by your response and kindness, it is so true what ledkr says we may not know each other in RL but we have been through so much together in the past 9 months. It is a real comfort reading your posts and seeing that you are all well. Yesterday was a bad day for me but things are a little better today (well at the moment).

Knitta i am sorry if i have scared you with my story but im sure you will be just fine, and i hope the baby makes an appearance soon!

debka · 04/03/2011 15:25

To those with noisy babies- put them behind the sofa like I do! Grin

wigglesrock · 04/03/2011 15:32

knitta hang in there, not long now, can you feel the get the bleep out of there vibes I'm sending, give knitta jnr a nudge Grin

angels turtle that's exactly what Anna looks like, she did remind me of something and as soon as I read your post I though thats it exactly!!! Would feel tempted to change her name but Mr Wiggles would probably think it was an Entourage homage. Saw your post on feeding topic, hope things are improving and you are getting loads of help and support.

EauRouge Have filled in paperwork for A passport, hoping to get her photos organised this weekend, was told by someone working for the passport office that they're not as fussy re babys photos anymore, not refusing them if baby has eyes closed etc. We had a bit of a nightmare doing dd2, the only bloody time she closed her eyes for a week was getting her photo taken.

ledkr · 04/03/2011 15:45

great idea deb then go up 2 flights for bed!!Wouldnt hear a peep then.Grin
jane im glad you are having a better day today,i should imagine that you will get plenty of bad ones tho but they will gradually make way for a few more better ones.It will take lots of time to heal and it is very very early days.My Mum still has bad days and finds it hard to talk about it,i was 14 and wasnt allowed to mention it much better now that people are more open imo.
My Mum also went on to have my 2 sisters who helped her greatly in moving on.Im glad you feel you can come on here stil,i had a lateish mc a few yrs ago and 2 friends were due at the same time as i was,i actually hated them for a while and cried buckets when they had their babies so you are very special to still talk to us-its ok to hate us sometimes tho Smile
Delilah is very noisy at night but im so tired i sleep thru it or just turn up the wire to drown her out.

Grin and Grin and Hmm at angels not fitting into her clothes, did you expect to be in ya skinnys love?I was a 14 before pg and am now struggling to get a 16 around my fat arse and belly.2 people have asked me if im pg-(yeah right with a baby this tiny YOU MORONS)grr
Its slower with a section and also if you managed to be a whole roll on tpt as i think you did like me heehee.
I bought some jeggings to pretend they are jeans and a couple of smocky tunic dresses to go on with, one of them is a 16 and when i tried it on was like a fitted dress Shock Have no intention of dieting until baby more settled but dont get much time to eat tbh and am walking a lot with my incredible wailing pram.

takingforeverkid · 04/03/2011 16:09

jane am sorry, you didn't scare me, it's something that I know happens and I just admire you for being so strong and brave, I just feel guilty for moaning before about being late, etc. and feel terrible that something like this puts things into perspective, when that perspective should have been there from the beginning. Am so glad you are having a better day today, are you being looked after? Hope so.

Thanks wiggles, waiting for that nudge to work.

ILovePonyo · 04/03/2011 16:54

Hello all. janedoe thank you for coming back on, really nice to hear from you and just hope you are getting lots of love and support in RL.

debka might have to take your advice re: noisy baby, think dd might have some relfux as she has been really upset since last night - its difficlut to put her down as she just cries and seems really upset bless her. Been to doctor today who said she seems generally healthy (which is always reassuring) and to go back next week if it continues. Dreading a whole weekend of it tho!

Sorry for slightly self centered post, I have been reading others just finding it harder to type holding upset baby! :)

slowangels1 · 04/03/2011 17:53

Grin Grin Grin at ledkrs comments re: fitting into clothes. I put my mat jeans on this morning but they dug into my csec scar so am still limited to 2 pairs of joggers which I had to resort to in late pg. Just feel so dowdy all the time. My tum has such an over hang when I laughed last night I actually felt like father christmas (with a jelly shaking belly) Shock

Baby turtle still loosing weight after weigh in today again and now has dropped below the 10% mark so on a massive feeding mission and have to express and feed expressed in a bottle on top of bfing to get as much down her as possible - not easy when I'm having massive sore/bleeding nipples issues Hmm

Took turtle on a small local walk in the pram today for first time and thought of ledkr as the (second hand) blow up wheels on the pram had a puncture and it actually did squeak loudly all the way - don't need your pram ledkr as I have a squeaking one of my own Wink

ledkr · 04/03/2011 18:14

i have a more settled baby as i have not been giving her enough gaviscon since increasing her feeds,i hope this means she will stil sleep tonight.
angels my mat jeans hurt my scar too,its stinging today,i find it hard to keep clean due to my rather attractive overhanging belly Blush i cant believe it will ever go.
i have found pinkypoo on another thread and told her off for going awol Grin thats one less to worry about from the fold.

Tarlia · 04/03/2011 18:29

Has anyone heard from hubbard? I hope they are doing well.

Shakes pompoms for knitta. who else is left? Where did prof vanish to again?

Angels poor you, with the sore nipples. Have you tried Lansinoh cream? I found it cleared up my cracks in no time at all so def recommend it. I hope baby angels starts gaining soon. We also had to use bottles of expressed and then formula in the beginning, but fear not you will get there, mine (still no name!! :() is turning into a wee fatty now. Are you feeding every 3 hours and on demand in between?

I'm proud of those of you that dared try on pre baby clothes already, 3 weeks on and I'm still scared due to my stitches down below!

Hope you are all having a nice day x

ILovePonyo · 04/03/2011 18:50

Ooh angels poor you with the painful nipples, good luck with the feeding mission :)

ledkr please talk to me about gaviscon for babies - was it prescribed by doctor or did you buy it over counter? Am considering going to buy some from pharmacy tomorrow if I have to after dd has been upset for past couple of hours :(

Ok I am going to piss you all off Grin. I am back in pre pregnancy jeans and despite saggy tummy, think I might weigh less than before I got pg Confused Blush Although this is probably due to feeling sick for the first 4months of pg and not being hungry at all now. Don't hate me!

hubbard86 · 04/03/2011 19:05

hi all sorry, been a bit manic here trying to adjust to being a mum to 2.
Feeding is not as stressful now we are ff as i am not feeling pressured or scared i am not producing enough. Freya is a very lazy feeder can take up to 2 hrs per feed. She seem very content now on bottles.
I tried on my pp jeans and they fit wahey but quite uncomfortable as still very bruised internally and tummy quite swollen.

Wish there was something we could do for jane, maybe we could (if others think its appropriate) make a small donation to the charity of her choice in memory of baby zoe?
There is just so little we can do to help and wish there was so much more we could say.

Grannyapple · 04/03/2011 19:05

Hi ladies...haven't had a chance to catch up o0n today's posts, but just to let yo9 know I have uploaded a pic of baby Nate x!

Tarlia · 04/03/2011 19:37

I meant if demanded. Jeeze, every 3 hours and on demand you would never stop! I blame lack of sleep!

Hubbard, so glad you are are doing better now on formula. Are you home?

Nate is just scrummy, G'Apple, congrats!

tadjennyp · 04/03/2011 19:38

Angels I sympathise - Samuel has managed to bruise my nipples again, four weeks on and nor can I do up my pre-pregnancy trousers. Never mind, I can't stop eating as I am feeding what feels like constantly, so I'm sure it'll come off eventually. Alice is a very pretty name.

I also thought about making a donation to Sands or Tommy's (I think they are the right names) in memory of Zoe if Jane thinks that's ok Hubbard. What does everyone else think?

tadjennyp · 04/03/2011 19:39

Nate is yummy granny!

PinkElephant73 · 04/03/2011 19:41

LOL @ Ledkr people asking if you are pregnant! I had a dream that I was 5 months pregnant with another one that I had been growing at the same time as DD - scary!

I am also in size 16 jeans now, pp size a 14. am desperate to have some new clothes to wear but not sure whether its worth spending a lot on "fat clothes" in case I slim down. on second thoughts thats not going to happen anytime soon so I may as well go shopping!

Bensmum76 · 04/03/2011 20:25

I would definitely like to make a donation in Zoe's memory, whichever JaneDoe chooses.
I'm too scared o try on pre pregnancy clothes yet, still have belly that makes me look 4 months pregnant. I've managed to get to a fairly good weight but still have 10 pounds to go! I've not felt like eating much recently, think due to feeling a bit low, but we had a family tea out tonight so have probably put a few pounds back on now!
Turtle is a fab name Angels, Noah tends to look a bit like a turtle when he's routing for a feed too!!
Hope your all ok and braced for another night of broken sleep!! Xxx

NeedToSleepZZZ · 04/03/2011 21:39

oh no, the dreaded weight issue, i haven't weighed myself for a long time as too scared. i was a size 6/8 pp and a 8/10/12 at the mo (depending on the shop). i've bought a few new things so i can bf without showing all and sundry my chest but they're just cheap bits from tesco etc (the clothes are cheap not my boobs! Blush).

angels please get some lansinoh, oh and breast pads to stop it riuning your bras Wink

granny nate is gorgeous! i love seeing the pics, they make me quite emotional.

ledkr · 04/03/2011 22:03

I did want to suggest a donation but didnt want to offend,it did occur to me that there may be some expenses for jane to cover, would she prefer some help with that maybe.
ponyo i think its just prescription only, but check. You must see the gp,i spoke to a specialist nurse today who told me that it is very painfull for them and that the medication should make them pain free,my baby is a different child tonight after increasing the gaviscon bless her,she didnt spend all evening crying,im scared now that she wont sleep her usual ood sleep.
Bit personal but is everyone still bleding? its been 5 wks for me and it came back on heavy and red today, its driving me bonkers.
There is a funny thread about sex whilst breast feeding,i have no opinion either way but dittany is on there giving it large, she is so great and her point of view is ace.

ILovePonyo · 04/03/2011 22:11

Thanks ledkr. Saw gp today but am definitely going back on monday if no changes, its horrible seeing her in pain and am going to get my assertive head on if I have to go back! Glad the gaviscon helped for your dd, hope the sleep isn't too interrupted tonight for you!
Its been nearly 3 weeks for me and am still bleeding but its very light at the mo.

I would also like to make some sort of donation for Zoe and janedoe, will keep an eye out to see what she thinks.

ledkr · 04/03/2011 22:40

i should print off some stuff from the net as some drs know f all about feflux, please in the meantime try to keep her upright after a feed and if she is in pain, try some water too, swaddling and could raise the end of her cot a little.

tadjennyp · 05/03/2011 01:24

I keep thinking my bleeding has cleared up and then it starts again. Always when I have tried to be as normal as possible with two pre-schoolers and a baby! It is getting a lot less though. More time to sleep would sort it out, I think! Grin

Tarlia · 05/03/2011 04:08

3 weeks here and I'm still spotting bright red if resting, but if i go out I start gushing a bit Hmm I'm not sure what's normal, but do hope it's not the tear!!

I think a donation would be a lovely idea. Possibly even directly to the hospital trust if Jane feels she recieved very good care from them? I do hope you are resting Jane. My thoughts are still very much with you xx

PinkiePoo · 05/03/2011 08:12

jane i am so sorry for your loss and i am sorry i have only learnt about this now. I am thinking of you and your fiance and please lean on each other. My mum had a still born and there is not a day goes by we all feel sadness but she went on to have a strong healthy family...so please have faith. Your baby will forever be the most special thing to you....

I really am sorry and echoing everyone else, we are all here for each other and especially you x x x
