Ds2 was/is a monster at night as well, is better if he gets a good sleep during the day. Didn't sleep throught the night until he was about 16 months

Mner Janey, we had a nice day at the park, think I may enjoy this stay at home milarky!!!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 01:05

SAHM malarky is ok for a while - im personally bored with it now! Would love to go back to work, but cant financially afford it what with childcare etc..... plus the fact i would rather either me or DH looked after the kids - and with him being in the army, it isnt going to be him is it!

I really should go and "try" to sleep again - tempted just to curl up on the sofa, but ill only sleep for an hour or two on there.

WHY IS PG SO CRAP THIS FAR ON?!

where you based J&Bmum?

Redtartanlass · 05/10/2005 01:07

d2 WONT even sleep in bed with us, he hates it. He is a monster I've never known a kid to hate sleeping with their mum and dad.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 01:09

Im in Colchester, Essex.

Jess has NEVER slept in with us, too scared of rolling on her or something and DH hits me in his sleep so god knows what he would do to a baby!

Maybe when she's older, we might let her in with us if she has a bad night...... but at the moment we are all happy with her in her cot in her own room!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 01:13

I AM GOING TO BED...... in other words ill be back in 10 mins coz i cant sleep!

Redtartanlass · 05/10/2005 01:14

definately going to bed at 1.30am....... am getting really scared as to whether I'm gonna cope with 2 tots. What happens when dp goes back to work....can I, will I cope.....

What do you mean mad, an endless round of changing nappies or madness at no sleep. If dd1 wakes up will it wake ds2??? I've just had a bit of a panic thinking of it. Do you have family near for support?

SusiS · 05/10/2005 05:08

hope you all got some sleep in the end!!

am awake for an hour now so i finally gave in and got up! guess i am just getting nervous now

RTL i am with you on the 'getting scared' bit - ds is 17 months and i have exactly the same worries!!!!!!!!!

triceratops · 05/10/2005 05:33

No - I can't sleep either. bump is agony, I think I have pulled a ligament.

Fastasleep - well done you and welcome to your tiny girl. No tears eh? I live in hope.

lyra41 · 05/10/2005 05:38

Hello

just visiting the thread. can't sleep either - woke up about 4 and finally gave up and came downstairs about 5, glad I'm not the only lonely insomniac in town!!

I'm not due till Jan 1st 2006, seems an awfully long way away.

How much longer do you have?

mawbroon · 05/10/2005 08:10

Morning ladies. First of all, HUGE congratulations to Fastasleep, sorry NOsleep and Marinda.

I am stuck in today waiting for a delivery from Argos. They can't even tell me if it's morning or afternoon - "anytime between 8am and 6pm" how bloody useless is that? Hopefully it will come at 8.30am and then I will have the rest of the day to do whatever I like.

I desperately want to clean out all my kitchen cupboards, but I know what a HUGE effort it is going to be. Perhaps I could do a cupboard a day and leave the oven until last in the hopes that I don't get round to it

Elf - it is tomorrow that you go in for your section isn't it? Best of luck, will be thinking about you!

Danishmummy - are you still breech/oblique?

Hope those of you who got no sleep last night manage to catch up.
