jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 15:32

ive even tried ibuprofen but nothing is touching it...... it just hurts so much i want to cry pretty much all day!

Lexie100 · 03/10/2005 15:36

Serious period pain and cervix being a play mat. Also bad headache.

How much movement is normal? My little one is constantly moving about and it can really hurt.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 15:37

lexie - that sounds promising..... you could be next.

Im getting lots of movements in the evenings but not a lot during the day..... i have NO IDEA whats normal and ive already got one baby (but induced with her and had NO PAINS whatsoever!)

Lexie100 · 03/10/2005 15:46

Had all the pains for a few days now though. Really can't stand the waiting. I'm sure that's what's putting my blood pressure up.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 15:48

I would call your mw and ask her to come and check things over for you hun.... im gonna do the same in the morning.... could be slow labour?!

ButtonMoon · 03/10/2005 15:51

My BP was up slightly last time......MW said it's the bottom number that they are concerned with...it's all comparable to what it has been during the course of preg.Mine is usually 60 but was 70...she was a little concerned about that but not too bothered as she sent me away for another 10 days!! I think it's quite normal for it to go up slightly towards the end of preg anyway......if you're worried just go back to doc and ask nurse to check it daily.

Lexie100 · 03/10/2005 15:55

My BP is usually something between 40-60 but was 83 today! She didn't seem bothered at all even when i said oh that's a bit high. Back in 7 days.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 15:56

I would get someone to check you ASAP - that is a hell of a jump.

Lexie100 · 03/10/2005 16:01

no other symptons though. As in not swollen anywhere and i don't think i have proetin in my wee as she didn't say anything.

fastasleep · 03/10/2005 18:00

I would get checked out lexie, just in case..

JM your midwife could refer you to a phsyio, I know you've not got long left but apparently they're great to have after the birth if you can get them!

fastasleep · 03/10/2005 19:37

I THINK MY WATERS BROKE!!!

JM I DON'T WANT TO GO FIRST!!!

OH ECK.

There was a big gush it was straw coloured then I needed to poop, then more clear stuff gushed out.. please god tell me I wet myself... it felt like a period type gush though.. oh no oh no I don't want to I'm terrified I'm going to cry!

I'll have to go to hospital as 37 weeks, so don't worry about an abscence!

Oh oh oh ? fastasleep we need an update?NOW

Jockey ? omg can?t believe about your dh, hope he gets better quick & Mbroon that?s not good news either about your dh, I?m in the same position but hopefully they?ll give me my 6 months maternity then sack me! I had to laugh at your dream, I keep having the weirdest dreams, shouting out, screaming, crying?do you think I?ve got something on my mind

Alterego ? brilliant to hear from you, sounds like you?re doing great and coping well, I?m panicking big time, looking after 2 wee babies eeeek.

Hi granny goose and welcome.

Moomin ? hang on in there girl - 2 weeks to go

Not been on mumsnet had the sh*iest weekend ever?.dp really did his back in, completely immobile, ds1 went to university, spent weekend being really ?strong?, all I wanted was my mum, but hey she?s been dead for 10 years, so no help there then . Haven?t cried ?cos if I start I will not stop. Sorry for moaning but I just feel so sad. I just really feel I?m sinking?.

Anyway enough of my moans, anyone heard from Danishmummy, she?s not been on for ages.

Sorry for long post.....

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 20:35

YAY! RTL! Glad all ok, and sorry about your shitty weekend.... i know what you mean about wanting your mum.... my mum died last year and i still wish i could phone her up for a chat every few days!

Off to town tomorrow - crochet hook on the shopping list me thinks!

Redtartanlass · 03/10/2005 20:42

Can't believe fastaleep's left us in the lurch, not knowing what's going on

Was up tp 2am last night washing baby clothes, packing hospital bag, even got the car seat ready!!!

Missing ds1

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 21:02

RTL.... you wont have chance to miss him once new bubba is here!

Well done for packing bag etc..... mines been sat waiting for weeks - maybe i should unpack it and then something might happen!

FA will be at hospital by now bless her - she's only just 37 weeks so not allowed to stay at home.

hester · 03/10/2005 23:24

Marinda!!!

Fastasleep!!!!

Redtartanlass · 03/10/2005 23:26

Hi Hester, makes you a bit envious eh?
Just CAN'T wait now, can't wait to hear what thye've had....

How's your hot water

fastasleep · 04/10/2005 04:12

I so wanted a homebirth had to wait 7 hours to be seen by anyone, at all...! FFS! they have now sent me home going 'yeah your waters have gone love' and as soon as I get here bang, nasty contractions quite close together, no sleep for me before labour then - thanks to them!!

I'm going to have to have a drip with antibiotics and they're going to try and keep me strapped to the bed not what I wanted at all... going to try and lie down now!

That's copy and pasted over from my 'ooh help' thread lol... I'm sort of pissed off and in paaaaaiiiiiin and definately not allowed my dream homebirth, not even a mobile one... the bastaaaarrrrds!! Seriously, we're doing fine though.. will get the hell out of that hospital ASAP and come back and moan about lochias etc.... (they can leave it for 4 days apparently so might be sat here for a while, contractions quite strong though so probably won't be back till I've popped!)

Thanks for the concern ladies xxxxxx

fastasleep · 04/10/2005 04:19

(Red I can tell you right now, it's a girl! Lol.. there you can stop biting your fingernails)

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 04/10/2005 07:55

FA - hope you're ok sweetie.

Not long now -hopefully you have already popped!

Lexie100 · 04/10/2005 08:28

woke up in the middle of the night with really painful contraction. Had two quite close together and then nothing. This am have had period pains again. How long can false labour go on for as this is killing me.

OP posts:
morningpaper · 04/10/2005 09:37

Had a dream that I found the baby gurgling happily in the washing machine.

No action from me although I'm as crabby as FECK today...
