Tabs - I'm at Lister too ! i hadn't realised you were in North Herts - i'm in Hitchin where are you?

Morgan · 15/09/2005 21:14

Tabs - thanks alot for the reminder i've just seen your message about yoga - i did remember and it was great - made my back feel a lot better .

Tabs · 15/09/2005 21:26

No way!! I only had you on the stats as Dubai from Jan, so had no idea where you were now. I'm just between Kimpton and Whitwell, so my postal town is Hitchin! Have you booked your ante-natal classes yet? Wonder if we'll be on the same ones? I'm Thursday nights from 10th November.

Glad the yoga was good.

Hi Tabs - not far away at all then - as this is my second i don't get any classes! where are you doing them? Who is your consultant at Lister? I'm with Mr Salvesen who is great - i've been seeing him privately for fertility treatment beforehand.

They're in Hitchin at Bedford Rd Health Centre.

I'm with Mr Salveson too. Only met him the once though, when I went for my 12wk scan. Had to see him due to previous (one off) heart problem, just so that he could check that I shouldn't be subject to any additional risk. Have heard good things about him from others too though.

You must come out next time we have a local MN meetup. Have been on a few in recent months and they're a friendly bunch locally!

Where are you doing your yoga by the way? Thought my class (in Wheathampstead) was the only one locally.

Morning Ladies,

I want to see Jordan's wedding dress!!!!! Might have to go to the newsagents and buy OK mag!!

Had an early start today as we have new neighbours moved in and their son is mentally disabled. Anyway a car alarm went off at 3am then he started screaming at 4am. Was really peed off as it is like he is in our house although I know he cant help it. I put a note through the door this morning to see if they can soundproof the wall or something and I also spoke to their council officer who is going round later to see if there is anything he can suggest. I'm very tired now.

Boobs still leaking to the point where if I dont wear a bra it runs down them. It's all very odd, I have to wear breast pads now and they are starting to get sore when they leak. I think I will mention it at my consultant app on Monday as have to see him due to bleed last weekend. Water infection almost cleared though so hopefully by Monday I'll be loads better!!

spacecadet · 16/09/2005 11:40

tabs, your friend is def nearer hinchingbrooke, she is entitled to ask for hinchgingbroke if she likes, gps only like you to go to addenbrookes if you are likely to have a pre-term baby, or a poorly baby as they do have an excellent neo-natal unit and scbu.

ixel · 16/09/2005 11:44

Frizbe... I just got my Marco Sky off ebay. The way I see it, the newbie can go in the back from 2 months. The first month will be nearly irrelevant due to the trauma of learning to deal with two and recovering from a probable c section, so I'll prob stay in alot. So there's only one month really to worry about, which can be covered with a sling. But I think the newer models do have fully reclining back seats. I thought about the E3, but its just so expensive, and I dont think i'll get my money's worth before ds stops needing a ride! Its also alot bigger than the Marco for getting on buses etc. And the Marco does fold up very small for a double. Shame you're so far away, or you 'd be very welcome to come round for a test drive!

I was reading on another page about Group B Strep, there is a petition for women to sign here

www.petitionthem.com/default.asp?sect=detail&pet=2003

I think I will get tested for this as some babies born with this have lots of problems. There is a website too with lots of info on if you want to look

www.gbss.org.uk/

Sorry not sure how to add links but copy and paste into browser. Has anyone had any experience of Group B Strep?

TicTac · 16/09/2005 14:06

Please can someone tell TicTac how to load her pic, I havent got a clue!!

Tabs · 16/09/2005 14:44

I don't know, but if you look in the member profiles bit where you have to put it, there are loads of threads of people asking how to do it and getting instruction, so one of these should help!
