3k that is fabulous news about the scan!! Although like Tabs said I am not sure how they will manage to the face stuff. Little TicTac played hide and seek in my placenta for most of the hour I was at my 4D scan. Good luck though. I wanted to go to the baby show in Olympia but it is quite a way from us! Is anyone else from the North planning going?

Tabs - I am a bit hit and miss but today has been very active indeed. I still use the doppler to have a listen in most nights though
Can't wait to feel more def kicks though!

Frizbe · 21/09/2005 16:47

Amanda1, I can't believe he even had the gall to txt you with that! ffs, he was the one doing the two timing right! he can't blame you for his mistakes, I agree with all the below, contact thru solicitor only, what an arse.

Thought I'd post you all what I've stuck on the March thread, as covering all bases, as sure I'll be a March birth! Here's my day so far....

well have also been into local dp's today to inquire where maternity line has gone, well its gone for good apparently! nearest one is Nottm! and its only in the main store there, and guess what girls, as per Hotmama's info, its downstairs, with no lift access for the public! great when you have a buggy in tow...not....I love to see a business that thinks about it customers....am going to join hotmama off the feb thread in complaining to them, dozey arse's.... I have the details to complain to from our local branch, who were're already aware that the downstairs thing was a problem, as I'm not the 1st person to mention it in there!!

Also had fun with the cat today....it has antibiotics! for gingivitis (SP) anyway thought I'd gotten a pill down its throat ok last night, gave him a nice cuddle afterwards, all seemed ok, didn't try to regurgatate it, no sign of it in mouth etc....go outside this morning and luckily get to pill just before dd, who'd also spotted it lying on floor just outside door.....and I have to go thru this rigmarole twice a day.....needless to say, same pill was rammed unceremoniously down cats throat again this am! this time I've kept him in and locked in utility until I was sure it's stayed down, argh!

and then for my final moan.....I've got lots of horrible shooting pains in my back going down into my bum from my pelvis, arghhhhhhh just one of those days I guess ing and bearing it.

Oh and there's a seperate thread about dd and the wet wipes.....ARRRRRGGGHHHHHH!

TicTac · 21/09/2005 17:42

LOL Frizbe...sounds like you are having a right old trauma of a day! Would it help is you followed your cats pill with her fav treat? I don't know much about cats but we used to do that with our dog (well, Dads dog!)

So who is going to the baby show in Olympia? DH and I are going to see that the scan is all clear on the 6th Oct but if all is ok, book tickets and wend our way down there for the day!

Sending calming vibes your way Frizbe!

TicTac - DH and I are going to the Baby Show - just trying to decide whether to go on the Sat or the Sun at the moment. 3k is going on the Sun, so if we go then then I hope to meet her. Likewise if we go on the same day as you then it would be great to meet up. Do you know which day you are likely to go?

Tabs · 21/09/2005 18:45

And likewise it would be good to meet you if we're there on the same day Amanda - sorry, don't know why I didn't include you on first post

crikey it's been busy on here! glad to hear everyone is still in fine fettle despite all the little (and large, Amanda, big hugs) irks.

Tabs, i had the same with movement..on and off and the doppler was red hot! But now it is major...dh felt it last night and you can actually see it happening as well! reckon baby is doing acrobatics...

tiredness and nausea not really shifting although 2 weddings at wknd didn't help...were amongst last to leave both at 2am and 3am!

Amanda - it took both of you to make the baby and while I am a bit of a "do it on your own" kind of girl (I hate the idea of "owing" someone...your decision has got to be the right thing for you! Don't let guilt or revenge play a part! Perhaps talk to your mum and dad about it...or even that nice new male interest of yous

If we go to Olympia we are travelling from Lancashire and would drive. I am not sure what day we would go though!

A friend of mine was a similar dilemma to yours regarding wanting exdp out of her life but also not wanting to lose all ties for fear of dd resenting her when she was older. She decided in the end to encourage exdp to see his child but as it turns out he lost all interest and doesn't pay any maintenance towards her now at all (only 2yrs down the line) But, my friend is always happy in the knowledge that she never stopped him seeing his child so when her dd grows up she can feel no resentment OTHER than towards her dad, which is sad but he made his bed. It sounds like your exdp doesn't want to take much of an interest and it will be a hard decision for you to make but I thought you might like to hear another experience similar to yours. Oh and said friend does fantastically with barely any money and no family just lots of love for her child

Good morning to everyone else

Arrrgghhh - what's wrong with me - I just want to eat!!!! Been doing really well at sticking with my slimming world plan, and then last night succumbed to a crisp sandwich on white bread with butter. It was lovely! But diet is blown, and now I want to eat bad things again! Will somebody come round and put locks on all of my food cupboards please?!

OP posts:
chloe55 · 22/09/2005 11:17

Tabs when I did Weight Watchers and had a blow out I had to just forget that I had 'blown it' for today and tell myself that it was ok I ate that sandwich it just means that I will walk the dog another time today/walk to shops instead of take the car and start back on track again IMMEDIATELY. (Well that was the idea but can't say I ever followed it through!) Don't look at is a fail, more just a hiccup

God I talk crap, you're prob reading this telling me to Shutuuuppp!! Just trying to be encouraging though

Tabs · 22/09/2005 11:21

Thanks Chloe. Could live with yesterday if only I didn't feel like doing the same thing again right now!!!! Perhaps I'll go and start making lunch really early to try and fill myself up!

TicTac · 22/09/2005 11:26

Tabs - Can't come and put a lock on the cupboards for you but can tell you to bin all the sh1t food you have in the house!!! If you bin it, you can't eat it

Amanda - I am good at putting my size 6 foot in it!

Tabs · 22/09/2005 11:30

I normally don't have much rubbish in the house TicTac, but am throwing a big party for DH's 40th next weekend, so have lots of naughty crisps and nibbles in ready!

Only 1 slice of white bread left though! Had to rummage in freezer to find any at all last night, as haven't bought any for months!

Just boiling water to cook a nice big bowl of wholewheat spaghetti instead though - love that.

Hello,

I;ve got to admit being very unhealthy with what I eat lately, I dont like dinners any more, dont like vegetables and have to force fruit down me!! I seem to be craving sweet stuff all the time but still have only put on about 7-8lbs as not been eating a lot at all during the evenings.

Belly huge at the moment and feels very stretched, coated it with baby oil last night and watched TV till it dried!!

Hope you ladies going to Olympia go on the Sunday then we can meet up and compare bumps!!

Hi Amanda - yours and baby's health is more important than work - GO HOME NOW!!!!

Could be low blood pressure causing the dizzyness, but don't think that this is supposed to make you sick. Think I'd prob go home and rest for the rest of the day, but if not better by morning then pop and see doc.

Tabs · 22/09/2005 13:17

What's happened to spacecadet? I tend to think of her as an 'everyday' poster, but she's not been on for a few days - did she say she was going away or something?

OP posts:
3k · 22/09/2005 13:28

Amanda - I would go home too and put your feet up. Try and eat something with a little sugar in as that might help raise your sugar levels.

I'm feeling a bit down today, boss is in a terrible mood and it has rubbed off on me! I hate it when he is like that, he is huffing in his corner and I just wanna go home

chloe55 · 22/09/2005 13:32

Amanda - if it makes you feel any better I also feel like absolute shit. Dizziness, cold, achey and thumping headache, I too am at work and can't really go home as shortstaffed (luckily I'm not too busy). Health is more important as my mother has told me today so it sounds like we both should go home and get some rest. Saying that I just can't be arsed with the look if I walked in to the boss and told him I was going home.
