Anyone??? or am I on my own for a little while yet?? Due the 1st. Received a strong BFP today, 11dpo and AF due next Wednesday.

I got my BFP on Wednesday, one day late. Checked out due date on internet and 10th June is whats coming out!

Very exciting but very nervous. This will be my second. I already have a DS who is 3.

I am worried as I was not taking Folic Acid before I found out I was pregnant but have been taking since Wednesday. Do you think this is ok? I'm worried I won't have it in my system for long enough.

Got my first appointment with the midwife today; I'm sure it'll be a quick history check, blood pressure check and a referral to the hospital,so not over excited, lol. I'm a veteran now.I could hardly keep myself together for excitement with my first baby!

I am tentative joining - only 10DPO at the moment with a very feint BFP and no real symptoms so I am feeling cautious...

This is my second (although DD was several years ago..). EDD 19th June.

mrshedgie - you know you're going to get all us first timers picking your brain, don't you?! Thanks for advice on DSC - telling them is quite a way off yet as we are keen to get thru scans etc first but will def keep it all in mind. Hope appt with mw went well today.

endless try not to worry about the folic acid. It is added to breakfast cereals, is in veg like brocolli, cabbage and parsnips. Also in marmite, baked beans, orange juice, egg yolks and potatoes. My tablets make me sick so I have to bump up on other foods with good sources.

Hello all please can I be added to the list? Got a very unexpected BFP on Monday at 12dpo - I had no symptoms to speak of and was just testing to confirm BFN :) Pretty nervous as had a couple of early mcs before dd (now 24 months). But I'm so happy to be pregnant again and crossing all fingers and toes for everyone here.

Oh and I meant to say think I'm due June 16th :)

Hello to everyone else who has joined, quite a few of us now!

Today, my appointment took a while, because, as expected, my obstetric history was recorded and the midwife said that I would be fast tracked for an early ultrasound because I've had a molar pregnancy before. There's a small risk I could have a persistent form of it, or another molar. I'm always nervous and excited all at once with the first ultrasound...should be in about 2 weeks from now ( I'll be about 8 weeks or so).

How is everyone feeling? I'm still faintly queasy on and off, but not too bad. 6 weeks 1 day today!

SW is approved for use during pg, but I plan to wait until I see my MW - which won't be for a another month, they don't book you in until you're at least 8 weeks along.

I hope everyone is doing ok today. I think nausea is gradually increasing for me... started with just wretching a couple of times a day then this morning I was over the toilet for quite some time although since my stomach was empty, wasn't actually sick, very bizarre feeling.
Have been snacking too to try and keep it at bay but I'm really worried as we have consultants in at work in the next few weeks and I'm guessing it's only going to get worse :(

Hi Ladies, I've held off joining you as I had two early miscariages in 2008. Got my BFP twelve days ago but have been so concerned that things might go wrong again.

I've seen the consultant today and am definitely pregnant as we saw a yolk sac on the scan! So exciting!!

Due date is June 5th.

Am taking aspirin and cyclogest to try and make my womb a more hospitable environment!

Fingers crossed that all will be ok this time.

Hi every1! 5 weeks +1 my tummy is so bloated I could pass for 4 months god knows how long can keep it secret at work! I was huge with ds but didn't show till 4 months! my tum just feels so bloated any1 else experienceing the same thing? x

Hi all!

Finally worked out how to join in the forum and find other June 2011ers! I'm still learning all the codes (BFP, DD...), so bear with me! Only found out I was preggo this week, on Monday night, tentatively, with a very faint second line, then a darker line Tuesday morning, which I then showed hubby (DH?) - I'd kept it to myself till then. We immediately went to the supermarket to get a Clearblue digital to find out for sure, and then I got the 'Pregnant 1-2' words. Hurrah! Although obviously it hasn't sunk in at all yet.

Have first doctor's appointment on Monday so I'll get my due date then, but I think it's anywhere between 8th June - 13th June (I ovulated day 20 I think). Hosting a dinner party tonight and have to pretend to be on antibiotics to explain not drinking! It's going to be a long first trimester... x

no symptoms yet but I guess as I'm only exactly 4 weeks today that is to be expected? didn't sleep very well, brain too active trying to absorb the news!

Hello all the new people! It's lovely to have some other first timers to keep me company .

I was forced into telling a friend last night as usually when we meet up we tend to consume a couple of bottles of wine so as soon as I said I couldn't drink much she guessed.

I seem to have started to get early afternoon sickness which is rather a pain at work. I had to finish a meeting in a rather hasty fashion friday and hot foot it to the loos. Thankfully not actually thrown up but feeling pretty close. If it gets worse and my breasts keep getting bigger I can't see how I'm going to avoid telling.

Just to add to the eating discussion, I have had two breakfasts this morning! Also I am completly obsessed by marmite
