Dec meet up thread

OK so here's where you can officially sign up.

Meet in Southampton - some time after mid November.

Who's in first of all!!!!!!

Can accommaodate overnighters at mine so EI im sure i can find somewhere for you if you wanted to stay too and my cars big enogh for 8!! Have a futon and a single bed available and also an air bed etc so room not an issue really as long as you dont mind sleeping in a room full of toys!!!!

that would be great bonkerz as long as you dont mind a house full of relatively new faces!! my dp is acting a bit strangely about this meeting up thing(im sure he thinks iv got an internet lover!!) hes asked if he can come and said that hed take the day off work!! he wont even book a day off for my birthday- hes so protective its as tho your all murderers or somethin!!

ei, My dh was the same the first time I met a MN'er. He made me ring him just before I went in and then I had to excuse myself to the loo within 5 mins to ring and tell him I was OK - otherwise he was going to ring the police!!!!!

He also made me put something in my coat pocket so I could defend myself if I needed to!!!

that's funny SH, but I can understand their reluctance, just wanting to protect us from weirdo's - too late from the sounds of it

pmsl!!! its not me thats worried as were all prob as bad as eachother! haha i think he just wants to be able to pick you guys out of a police line-up if i do decide to disappear!! haha you never know eh!!

My Dh has always been quite supportive of my posting on here and meeting with other MN (although only met 2 so far!) Like i said Ei, i have the space (now just need to figure out if i can dispose of your bodies efficiently enough! 2 is harder work!) The best thing is you see if you really dont like me or my house then you and nemo can go home together! Heres hopeing we can have a great time in Basingstoke and then maybe Dh will be kind and have kids in evening so we can pop for indian or chinese!!

ninah - please!!!! You have to come!!! I know things are rough at the moment but it might give you a well needed break

Just found this thread, I wont be able to make it girls sorry!!!!!!!

Someone needs to take a camera so they can post some piccies on here so us girlies that can't make it can still see what you all got up to and still put names to faces!!

DP said he would take the day off and drive me to meet you guys but then he'd be wandering around for hours doing nothing so I felt bad.

Dont know if I come either because of money Unless they suddenly sort out our tax credits then it is unlikely.

OK, I'm finally going to get round to booking the table in the next couple of days.

I know it's not definate yet so don't panic if your not 100% sure if you can make it or not.

I know someone said on the other thread about not bringing their child along but I can't remember who it was.

Can those of you who have a child next to your name just post and say if you want a high chair or a normal chair and then I'll make the booking.

Nemo - I know bonkerz will probably have other stuff to do so would you be able to answer for her possibly????

sounds right to me! I said about not bringing a child originally, who knows, if p can do Daddy Daycare again I might even come alone but to be on the safe side a chair (normal) for ds please.

im not going to be able to come. Tax credits have refused our appeal so still on extremely strict budget. Sorry all!!!!
