Purple def get yourself to A&E I think, despite the wait you will have there, they can stop the anxiety for you either way. We all hope it isn't bad news but if you're getting pain, that may not be a good sign and it would be better to just "know".

I've had a bad day too but just with tiredness and sickness, nothing worrying, just hard work! The rain doesn't help either, it's poured down all day. Still, DH is going out tonight so I'll go to bed really early - DD was up several times last night which probably accounts for the tiredness - and hopefully, if I stop drinking water by 8pm, I won't be up too often!!

Hope everyone feels a LOT better tomorrow.

Hi everyone.

Had another scan today and could see a teeny baby and a very strong heartbeat Grin. After 10 days of worrying because there wasn't a heartbeat last time it was such a relief to find out that everything is ok, i am just not as far on as i thought.
The woman who scanned me was a misery so only got to have a very quick look(she had the screen turned towards her at first) and the cyst they saw last time has shrunk loads so she said it was nothing to worry about.
Wanted to ask for a picture but Dp said they wouldnt give me one because it was so early. Think I would have still asked if she wasn't so miserable.
Still got constant nausea, dizziness and tiredness but am feeling so much more positive.
Sorry to those that are worrying, agree with going to A&E if you are in a lot of pain, purple, could it possibly be a UTI? I had one when pregnant with DD and apparently they are very common in pregnancy, could possibly explain the pain without bleeding?

stegasaurus · 01/10/2010 18:29

I had my hospital appointment today. We were there 4hrs and probably spent a total of about 30mins seeing people and the rest of the time waiting. I had a scan and they put the due date at 1st May. The picture is not very clear but everything seemed to be ok and it made it seem more real that there is actually a baby in there! I have just been phoning relatives and telling them. My MIL nearly deafened me with her over-excited screeching! My mum was a bit more restrained but was on a train at the time.

Purple hope you find out what is going on and things are ok.

cowboylover · 01/10/2010 18:34

Purplebuns I'm so sorry to come on here and find that you are having such a difficult time.

I am feeling very pregnant today somehow, just feeling ill but different. Only thing bugging me is that I have got a horrible cold and I would love to just dose up on everything and go to bed but I cant as to fidgety to stay in bed for to long!

southpacificfish · 01/10/2010 19:58

Great news for you Icanonly, hope your eardrums have recovered!

Morning everyone - hope you're all feeling well today.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all those waiting for news about how your beans are.

I'm feeling so much less sick today - I think it's because I went to see a friend last night, so someone cooked for me, and we nibbled at the food all evening. I actually felt pretty normal for the first time in a couple of weeks, and this morning was much easier.

Clearly I need my own private cook!

DragonMamiCooksWelshCakes · 02/10/2010 10:17

Anyone out there? I'd just like to whinge about my nausea if I may. I'm in sole charge of DiddyDragon (2.0) until bedtime tonight & I feel dreadful.

Anyone with more than one DC go any tips on how to survive until 6.30 without going completely mad/throwing up on DD/demanding DH comes home from work?

EdwardCullenShallBeMine · 02/10/2010 14:05

Hi,

Can I join in too please? My due date is 28th May and this will be DC4. We have DS14, DD1 12, DD2 4. My BFP was a bit of a shock as I am on the pill and haven't missed a day, but was on antibiotics the previous month.

Purplebuns · 02/10/2010 14:32

Hi everyone,
Fab news Icanonly
and fingers crossed for you Loopymumsy and MummyWilliams and thank you both for your support and everyone else.

Unfortunately, my story doesn't have a happy ending and I did lose the baby.

I would just like to wish everyone Goodluck!
I hope I am the last to lose their LO, and you all get lovely, scrunchy, newborns come May.
I will be thinking of you all in a good way and thank you all for this lovely thread and how supportive it has been for my 5 weeks travelling with you all.

Best wishes xXx

So sorry to hear your news Purple. So many of us sadly know exactly what it's like. Please be kind to yourself over the next few months.

southpacificfish · 02/10/2010 15:18

Purple that is such a shame, we are sorry to lose you :( I hope you are ok and get lots of rest and emotional support.

Dragonmami Put the tv on, sometimes it's the only way and really don't feel bad about it. I have spent several days during the last few weeks feeling dreadful laid out on the sofa whilst DD (almost 2) played and watched tv. I dozed a bit (had the door shut so she couldn't go anywhere) and managed to get through the day. I suppose top tip is for when you have an ok hour or so, make a bulk batch of food for your DD so that when you feel rough you can just grab it and heat it rather than having to think about food for her.

Have had better day today but hoping DH gets back from playing with his car soon so that I can have a sleep before I go to work tonight at 7pm. hope everyone else is having better days and less sickness and that Loopy managed to get some sleep!

MummyWilliams · 02/10/2010 19:08

Is it possible that yesterdays vaginal scan could've caused it?
