Calling The Viroids - Just Shagging Graduates!

Just thought I'd start a thread for all those JS graduates, whether a newbie graduate or even if you left us a while ago and are well on your way. Would be good for us to keep in touch, see if we're all staying 'sane'. Grin

Don't know about you ladies, but I am still filled with the overwhelming urge to PIAR (that's POAS for all you older graduates - after you left us we went a little mad and started harnessing the power of the ramekin!) I think once you start the habit it doesn't leave you!

Well, it's good to know that the Just Shagging method works. Even if we did once in a while just cheat a teeny tiny little bit! Wink

Darkstar: I felt sick from 9 weeks to 13 but found that as long as I ate little and often I could keep it at bay but rarely actully sick except when I brush my teeth which makes me heave!

Had my MW bloods today and now my blood pressure has dropped more to 80/50 so think thats been giving me the headaches and lost 3 stone but I dont know where but thats what going off food does for me.

Going to see my community MW in the next 2 weeks when im 16+ weeks so I can have the down blood tests as they dont do the nuchal measurements here, I am hoping she will also be able to listen to the heartbeat as well as not heard it yet. Anyone else got results back yet?

Dynababy · 24/11/2010 20:37

TTL poor you puking everywhere! Hope you get better soon! Exciting re the scan, keep us posted on how it goes and how you feel when you finally see the bean!

I'm not getting a scan until 12/13 weeks so 1st or 2nd week in January but I'm tempted to book a private early preg scan for 9 and a half weeks (just before Christmas) so I have some reassurance. Has anyone else done this?

cowboy can't belive you lost 3 stone!! Kinds wish that would happen to me but am pretty sure I won't! Hope blood pressure doesn't cause you issues and good luck with the blood tests

cremegg · 25/11/2010 10:21

hey all, hope all are well?!
no sickness yet here but feel like it might come on soon, same as you dyna little bit nauseus when hungry but not sick. boobs still on fire tho!
anyone else get twinges in lower stomach area? its not as bad as period pain but same sort if that makes sense? just been a bit aware of it last couple of days. DH says it is because i ate loads of choc eclairs yesterday! cheek!
hope you are feeling better ttl. Confused

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 25/11/2010 12:11

Creme they sound like stretching pains. You really only need to worry if you have sharp pains.

10 and a half weeks and managed to go the whole day yesterday with out throwing up! Hopefully I'm turning the corner. It also means I'll be able to go to a party on saturday night Grin

TTL How did the scan go? All good I hope. Bet you were to excited to even throw up on the sonographer Grin

takethatlady · 25/11/2010 12:30

Hey guys, scan was lovely Grin Grin Grin. Am only 9+3 and get to go back when I'm 12+3 for the nuchal and another scan. Plus I signed up to take part in some research which means I get more scans at 28 and 36 weeks and free pics at both. Such a relief to see a real little creature kicking and wriggling and waving its arms, and a heartbeat banging away in the middle of it Smile

We didn't get a picture, which I'm kicking myself about. The sonographer was already a bit miffed I was there so early and then she said something like 'so you'll want your photo at the next scan, then?' and we just automatically said yes, and then immediately regretted it when we realised that meant not having one at this scan. Wish I had a little pic to moon over right now, but I guess I'll get one in 3 weeks. DH was so sweet about it, trying to make me not disappointed by saying we've had our own little private viewing now that only we saw and that makes the moment even more special, and that we'll get our pic soon enough Smile

How's everyone else?

BrassicaBabe · 25/11/2010 13:29

Just lurking. I've got grumbling low-level nausea. Eaten a packet of extra strong mints seems to have worked. Too many people hanging around at work to catch up and post properly. Grr

takethatlady · 25/11/2010 14:30

brassica that's how it starts Grin

Give it two weeks and you'll be spraying bile all round the bathroom Wink

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 25/11/2010 17:04

Grin Bear

takethatlady · 01/12/2010 08:52

Hey ladies,

How is everyone doing? My ms seems to be better this week. Had my first sick-free day in ages yesterday and though I woke up retching this morning I feel a bit better. 10+2 so hoping I may be lucky and already be over the hill with ms symptoms. Boobs still hurt and I'm still waking up early, leaving loads of snot in my pants Blush, and feeling generally pregnant so I'm not too worried...

nmcb, unblocked the blockage yet?

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 01/12/2010 09:22

Oh yes unblocked. It just wasn't .. easy. Shall be having a look for unblockage food at the supermarket later on (not prunes though )

My ms is also easing off. I now have less time feeling yuck than feeling yuck, though I still get the odd rush trip to the nearest sink. Think we're quite close in our dates TTL I'm 11+2 today, but think that will change on Friday when I have my scan as that date'll assume I have an average 14 day luteal phase.

How's everyone else? (besides cold)

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 05/12/2010 09:25

Dynababy · 05/12/2010 22:47

BB are you lurking out there? Everything OK? Noticed you haven't been on here or conception JS thread for a while. Hoping your just busy in RL or in the best and nicest possible way a bit ill for tintenet cyber babble! Grin

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 06/12/2010 21:40

Milano it's to cold to stand outside looking in. Come and have some mulled non-alcoholic wine.

BB hope your brussel sprouts haven't frozen and that all is well.

I reached 12 weeks this weekend, so think I'm now officially moving into the 2nd trimester. Wow!!! Xmas Shock

Eskarina · 09/12/2010 17:53

Will return next week when it's sunk in a bit (the news that is)
Adding you to my watch list

santababy2b · 11/12/2010 17:13

Will hopefully be joining you soon :o Only found out I got a bfp yesterday, so will be back if it's a sticky bean and when I have had 6 week scan. Oh and hopefully some more symptoms to share.

GoldFrakkincenseAndMyrrh · 14/12/2010 16:28

Oooh tentative congrats to the last 2!

I'm over halfway now...not sure where the time went.

NoMoreSnowPlease · 21/12/2010 14:47

I't hard to believe you're over half way already Frak! How's your bump coming along? and How are you?

MS is finally abating here and my appetite has returned, with a bloody huge hunger for chocolate. So much for my 1st trimester weight lose!

Oh oh Vallinna is on her first ever actual 2WW. Fingers crossed we'll be stealing her away from the not upduffed yet page in a couple of weeks.

It's so friggin cold here. I can't remember ever being this cold for so long.

Grannyapple · 22/12/2010 19:06

vallinnapod · 30/12/2010 16:45

Grin hope I am not tempting fate but....heeellloooo! So this is what the other side looks like....

cowboylover · 30/12/2010 21:27

Hello!

Its been ages and nice to see so many good signs our group will be expanding soon.

I am now 21 weeks, sickness has really slowed down to very occasional now, bump is very round and hard(?!) and think I got the pregnant lady woddle now as my hips have been hurting but still enjoying the experience.

We had our scan on Dec 21st and very excited when they said all was good, growing well and we are having a girl! I am suprised for some reason but super excited with the news Xmas Grin

Hope everyone is doing well x

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 31/12/2010 17:35

Hellooo Vallinna Bunting for 1 or 2 is at the ready.

Cowboy a wee girl, how lovely for you. Grin We're not finding out the sex, but I'd quite like a girl.

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and am happy to say that the allday morning sickness has passed, though I know it can strike unexpectedly at anytime. Also I ordered some maternity clothes online today as I'm sick of going around with my fly down all the time (when I'm at home anyway).

Have a lovely NYE all. I'm going to be sober and in bed. Bliss Grin

Baby2b · 11/01/2011 20:12

First footing the thread for the new year. Hope everyone is doing well?

Going between this thread and the august 2011 one. Got really bad ms at the moment, so been a right moody cow. My dh has been a star though.

Been feeling a little down about everything and dh is concerned that I'm not as excited as he had envisaged. Did it take any of you a while for everything to sink in?

cowboylover · 11/01/2011 22:26

Baby2b: I would say 22 weeks and more! Thats where I am at the moment even started buying but still does not fel real Smile
