Calling The Viroids - Just Shagging Graduates!

Just thought I'd start a thread for all those JS graduates, whether a newbie graduate or even if you left us a while ago and are well on your way. Would be good for us to keep in touch, see if we're all staying 'sane'. Grin

Don't know about you ladies, but I am still filled with the overwhelming urge to PIAR (that's POAS for all you older graduates - after you left us we went a little mad and started harnessing the power of the ramekin!) I think once you start the habit it doesn't leave you!

Well, it's good to know that the Just Shagging method works. Even if we did once in a while just cheat a teeny tiny little bit! Wink

nickelbaalamb · 12/04/2011 15:11

no, sorry, ttl - i have never done down there, and never will [boak]

Anywy, who is going to get out a mirror and check their labia tonight?
please? for me?

cowboylover · 12/04/2011 15:22

nickel I am nearly 36 weeks now, but very fair skin and very tan so wonder if my body can do the 'brown'! Mine are defo fatter and redder.

TTL we where talking about it in the May thread! Some are going for waxes, going oh natural but I got one of the wilkinson sword bikini trimmer things but ever the some carefully angled mirrors couldn't do it all so had to ask DH to help and sticking to my JS roots and took what be my last opportunity for a while for a "while you are there" Grin

KateeHasABunInHerOven · 12/04/2011 15:40

I told him and he was really pleased for me, so that's a weight off my mind Grin

nickelbaalamb · 12/04/2011 15:51

oh good! Grin

ConfessionsOfAnAchingFanjo · 12/04/2011 17:06

Oh Dee I just missed your post last night. Huge hug for you. You and manshape look after each other.

ConfessionsOfAnAchingFanjo · 12/04/2011 17:10

Nickle your swelling is due to all the extra blood your body is making. Not sure I have swollen down there, but I've got to say same days (esp when my SPD is flaring up) it certainly feels like it!

Thanks everyone, yes it is a huge relief to have a house at last. It's the one we originally wanted. Now we just have to pack and move. FIL is coming up to help us, so could be ... interesting Grin

Good work on telling work Katee (and yay about the scan the other day).

takethatlady · 12/04/2011 17:28

Great news katee :)

Isn't all that extra blood meant to give us orgasms-a-plenty? Not really noticing that myself, but maybe I'm not putting the effort in Grin

nickelbaalamb · 12/04/2011 17:54

good - i thought it was normal, but i couldn't remember why.

everyone else must check theirs though!

I haven't had any sexual activity at all since the POAS PIAR

blame DH - he's scared that something bad will happen. Hmm
I'll pounce on him once i've had the scan.... Grin

vallinnapod · 12/04/2011 18:50

Bloody love this thread Grin

Katee glad telling work went well

I am an avid waxer, although just entered the 'summer season' so legs are getting the razor treatment again. I will be 'Brazilianing' throughout the rest of my pregnancy, may have to start trimming the 'landing strip' with the aid of a mirror soon!!

I have had 3 waxes since finding out I was PG and despite the hairs on my head giving up the ghost, those on my fanjo and legs seem to have adopted some super grip technique. Bloody painful the last time I went, usually pretty pain free.

OK, after nickels confession, I have something to make you all Shock No sex since November :( I think we were both a bit Confused during the IVF process, then I was uber bloated and sensitive after egg collection. Then BFP. Then bleeding. I was sooooooo horny for the first 14-ish weeks but it has sort of all gone away Blush DH was scared to do anything to begin with but now I think he would quite like some action and of course now I am really 'meh' about it. Keep thinking I should just get on with it as I am sure I will enjoy it when I get going, just can't get over the initial 'stop-touching-my-bloody-body' apprehension Blush

ConfessionsOfAnAchingFanjo · 12/04/2011 20:37

Gosh Vallinna! I thought my sex life was bad, but you make me look like raging nympho! With DH being unwell the closest thing to sex I've had in a while is a back massage while eating choc ice cream!

takethatlady · 12/04/2011 21:38

vallinna you've got to get back on that saddle! What's happened to your shag cape, woman?! Time to dust it off Grin

Seriously, though, we didn't do anything until 12 weeks because we were too scared, and it's been relatively infrequent since then, though I've been feeling a bit randy recently and upped the tempo Grin Wink. Weird to think how much we were at it this time last year!

KateeHasABunInHerOven · 13/04/2011 08:22

Same here, especially having had some spotting in the last month or so, so no sex since mid January! Appreciate what you mean by the 'stop touching my body' thing - cuddles are ok, but have to be brief cos DPs arm seems to have got a ton heavier in the last few months and the thought of having sex frankly seems a bit euw at the moment - I don't feel much like a sexual being with a baby in there... maybe that will change when I get some energy back. Poor DP, he is very patient! Grin

frakyouveryverymuch · 13/04/2011 08:44

No sex here either and very little throughout the whole pregnancy really! Cuddles are fine, and much appreciated, but anything sexual is...well...not really happening.

Apparently you only need to make sure your bikini line is tidy in case of a CS so no need to rip/scrape it all off. Professional waxing is probably a good idea but I really don't think I can inflict the sight of my fanjo on anyone when I'm avoiding looking at it (no labial examination here, sorry nickel) so I'm just going to Veet in the shower in early labour!

BrassicaBabe · 13/04/2011 14:37

So sorry dee. I hope you've got a good layer of support around you.

Busy bunch you guys!

I've still got an innie, but it's pulled quite tight. Sometimes it feels like my whole bump is connected to my tummy button by a piece of string. Hmm Does that make any sense at all?!

Luckily my DH is a "boob man" and is quite in awe of my mahoosive boobs! I've gone up from a D cup to an E cup so far. Although I think he's a little freaked out by the bump - I'm too scared to ask him! Grin I'd like to know if he still thinks I'm sexy, but again, I don't want to ask!

I'm a regular fanjo waxer. so I intend to keep it up. I like the porn star look Grin I might have to add my legs to the waxing schedule as I think they are going to be difficult to reach soon.

We'd be having more sex than we are except poor DH picked up thrush at the beginning of this pregnancy and can't seem to shake it. Poor chap looks like his bits have been sun burnt!

cowboylover · 13/04/2011 18:17

Sex has been strange in the Cowboy house as well! Was fine until me had the first scan then nothing til 22 weeks when DH said he found it a bit strange and we didnt but 30 weeks it changed again!

Now we have random patterns now of do it once and if its fine and doesnt hurt have a mad weekend Grin Not sure if we will again tho before shes born? Dont know how DH still says I look nice tho as feel like a total blimp!

vallinnapod · 14/04/2011 11:23

Blood tests came back all normal however I spoke to my midwife who holds a clinic at the homoeopathic hospital so I am going to see her there. I didn't think the NHS believed in alternative therapy bar acupuncture so I am intrigued! One thing the doc said was that my red blood cells were large - should be 98, mine were 98.6. I asked what this meant and she said to keep taking the folic acid - which I have been for over a year now. She then said some people's can just be bigger, so more needless worry!!

Off for a scan this arvo [hypochondriac emoticon]

nickelbaalamb · 14/04/2011 11:25

still no sex.
not bothered, though, really, because we are very cuddly and kissy normally, so we don't feel we're missing out iyswim.

Went swimming last night, which has really dried out my skin - my nipples feel like someone's used a rasp to file them! [ow]
I've smothered them in E45, and they're okay now they're in the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder.
I'm a bit perturbed by the fact that when my nipples are hard, they look like teats now, rather than nipples, and my right areola is still growing faster than my left one.
And i've got the little white bumps too - which according to my book are pronounced sweat glands which will help to lubricate the area. yum. Hmm

nickelbaalamb · 14/04/2011 11:26

ooh, Vallinna, sounds odd.

KateeHasABunInHerOven · 14/04/2011 13:08

montgomery's tubercules if you want to be proper about it nickel Grin

I guess the point you're at and just before or after birth is when boobs are going to be doing all the fast changes? Mine seem to have settled down now, big and veiny but at least they aren't so tender any more. I have noticed my nipples are more often than not erect now, which is annoying. Hmm

Respect at the swimming - I had no energy until a few weeks ago to do anything other work, sleep, food, tv, sleep... Wink

ConfessionsOfAnAchingFanjo · 14/04/2011 13:21

Getting my anti D jab in an hour. Oh the joy. Esp as I have to drag DS along with me.

nickelbaalamb · 14/04/2011 14:00

okay, i should pro0bably have put "swimming", rather than swimming - my friend and I meet up every week at the pool and gossip while treading water and a few wriggles.
It's fun.
But not proper exercise! Grin

still, the water has the same effect on my skin.

vallinnapod · 14/04/2011 15:20

Ok, am biased, but my baby boy is so god damn cute Grin Fab scan and a couple of 4D photos. Measuring bang on, all looking good and AWH! Just adorable. Can't believe I have at least 20 weeks until my first cuddle!! Cannot believe that bundle of gorgeousness is inside me!

Oh, and he has the beginnings of a porn career. The sonographer gave us a pick with a huge arrow pointing to his willy!

COAAF - GL. Are they painful injections? (I realise this is a moderately stupid question...I mean more so than a quick jab!)

KateeHasABunInHerOven · 14/04/2011 15:23

Ok I'm intrigued now... what does a 4d scan/photo look like (given that we live in a 3 dimensional universe and all that... glad it was fab!

Grin
nickelbaalamb · 14/04/2011 15:29
Grin they've been laughing about it in New Scientist. according to one hopsital website (or somebody, bot sure!), it's because it's moving that makes it 4D. so 2D on an ultrasound, 3D normally, but 4 D cos of movement. I do believe I heard an audible guffaw from the editorial team....Grin
vallinnapod · 14/04/2011 15:51

Yeah - no idea what 4D is - he certinly didn't leap out at me! Sound maybe?! Probably marketing speak for 'part with more money'! This one was a 'freebie' to make you pay the £250+ for a full on 4D scan...I figure I am just putting that money towards lots of normal ones with 'sneaky' peaks at 4D!

I did get suckered in to parting with £10 for a CD of images so I will try and post one later tonight.
