No I think your right Munz! ps my due date is now 27th Feb!!

Piffy I'll just echo RosieP's post, as so very eloquently put {{{Hugs}}} and try not to worry, but we're all here for you!

Munz hope they don't send your dh away during your scan....

Anchovies, good to see all is progressing well at this stage, fingers very x'd for you and beanie, go show em girl!!

Well I have a horrible headache, guess its the weather, a lurvely fine drizzle all day, with a few heavier spots.....please go away headache!
Have been and brought some more industrial bug buster for our house today, poor old cat has been treble checkd and is definately flea free, so its not his fault I'm being eaten alive....just wish I knew what it was.....although we seems to have loads of daddy longlegs about too, so ? will spray carpets for 3rd day running with new bug buster when go to bed tonight!

Jackstini · 11/09/2005 09:49

Hi Piffy - just wanted to say good luck for your scan tomorrow - those pics will definately put some worries to the back of your mind
DHW - yes, put it away!! I have still not been able to find any heartbeat but at my scan on Monday was told they really don't work well until at least 20 weeks - so am not going to fret too much
Anch - nice to see you back on here and glad you are doing well
Lastly Munz for stats - my scan put my date back to 21st March (not that I beleive them looking at my waistline!!)

RosiePosie · 11/09/2005 11:49

Woah! Blimey, I'm getting Braxton Hick's today - only 16 weeks! Do any of you with more than two or three children know if this is normal for a third pg?

Cadmum · 11/09/2005 12:37

Rosieposie: That seems mighty early but I am really having trouble remembering when all of these things happen. I just quickly googled Barxton Hicks and 16 weeks and there were lots of similar reports. Hope they are not to uncomfortable!

gothicmama · 11/09/2005 12:49

braxton hicks happen right from start it depends on you when you feel them hth

newgirl · 11/09/2005 15:34

Hello all

Piffle- I don't think you need to worry at so young but you could ask your mw tomorrow if she thinks a cambridge test is useful - they can be done later - 15 weeks I think. It might be worth it just to stop you having alien dreams.

I have had a SHIT weekend. On friday I had a heavy bleed at work and then spent the afternoon in a and e. I had a scan this morning and baby is still there thank heavens. They think that all is OK and that bleeding just happens sometimes and I can carry on and enjoy my pregnancy. So hopefully I will. I really hope all will be ok.

The only good thing this weekend was that Christoper Eccleston was on the itv top 50 show about 10 times so that cheered me up.

RosiePosie · 11/09/2005 17:27

I'm sure I posted this message half an hour ago - but I obviously didn't! Der! Preggo brain!

Newgirl, how worrying for you - but glad the baby seems okay. Hopefully it will be a one off bleed.

Munz - I replied to your question on the "New Tots Nappy" thread.

Frizbe · 11/09/2005 18:13

RP crikey! I'm on no.2 and haven't had any yet? am also 16 weeks today!! 4 weeks till next scan! argh!!
Newgirl, glad all is ok with beanie, but very worrying for you, however your a girl after Munz's heart with your CE thing! sure you two could waffle about him for hours!

munz · 11/09/2005 18:21

lol - of course we could friz - NG - did u see him? cdr who tonight beeb 3 watch it - double bill - hmmmm yummy! lol.

hope everyone's ok today feeling abit more positive than yesterday sorted out bub's room and moved some stuff in alreay. DH's cooked me a nice meat and pot pie - so if i'm not on tomorrow u know it's not good!

OP posts:
RosiePosie · 11/09/2005 19:40

I wasn't sure at first, but my stomach keeps going rock hard and it feels slightly uncomfortable. I quite like it actually! Can't remember when they started with no. 2, it definately wasn't this early. Haven't got my scan date yet, but I'm seeing the MW on Friday, so hopefully she'll have it for me then.

catj · 11/09/2005 19:49

It doesn't seem real thet some of you are 16wks already. I'm only just over 12wks!!

marne · 11/09/2005 20:07

Hi catj,
Thought i would say hi, im due the same day as you, i wonder who will pop first?

catj · 11/09/2005 20:18

My eldest was 1wk early (induction due to high BP)& the twins were 2.5wks early (elective c-section). Knowing my luck I'll go 2wks over this time

RosiePosie · 11/09/2005 20:43

Catj, I read on another thread that you were considering declining your blood tests - did you do that in the end? Or are you still planning to? I declined mine - have always gone along with all the tests in my previous pregnancies, but I HATE having blood taken, and just didn't see the point of having them done this time anyway - the only new info they would gain would be iron levels, which I'm not worried about. The MW was a little surprised and so was the lady at my scan ( where the bloods would have been taken ) but they were happy to go along with my wishes. I just don't think they have people declining them very often, because they didn't really know what to say! I haven't decided yet whether to have the 28 week ones done.

desperatehousewife · 11/09/2005 20:54

catj - i am most likely going for an elective c-section - but am terrified about going into natural labour before the section is booked in for. They will only book you in at 39 weeks here...am scared this might be too late - what happened with you?

catj · 12/09/2005 09:38

RP I did decline my blood tests at my booking in visit but as I found out my grandma's got shingles & my nuchal scan showed increased fluid (which can be caused by infection) I agreed to have it done, but only because I saw it as good reason to.
DHW as I was having twins I was supposed to be booked in at 38 wks but they made a mistake at first & booked for 39 so by the time it was changed that was the nearest date. Have to say I was pleased in the end as they weighed 6lb 8oz & 7lb 3oz . Both absolutely fine and we went straight to to post natal ward.

munz · 12/09/2005 09:39

rp - braxton hicks - already? gosh, not looking forward to those.

ng - u rest up and think of CE, hope there's no more bleeding.

well according to the scan i'm now 15 weeks lol. can't wait till I show more and also feel bub's moving about. spoke to anotehr friend last night who said def a girl as i've had no sickness really, althou mum didn't have nay with DB so who knows?? 5 weeks to go till I can find out!

hope everyone's well today.

RP - emailed a ebay site for a quote on the nappies today (she said she'd make up a multi pack for me and would hopefully give me a good price, so i'll let u know) it's smileybots.

OP posts:
RosiePosie · 12/09/2005 10:11

Have you had the results back yet catj? What a worry!

Munz, yes would be interested to know what she quotes you. What size are you going to get? The size one nappies are very very cute! And you can always sell them on afterwards and get some of your money back.

munz · 12/09/2005 10:14

i've asked for a quote on:
10 normal tots,
3 bumbozzles
7 fluffles
5 wraps
15 boosters
1 bag
and liners if she has them.

normal tots size one the other 10 size 2 (all applix if she has them) and will see what she comes back with, althou am thinkin might swop the 10 normal for 5 bumbozzles and 5 fluffles - not sure yet - do those come in differnt colours? and is 20 enough do u think, (only want to wash every other day at most/ ever 2 days preferably if thta's feasable.

OP posts:
munz · 12/09/2005 10:15

not goin to sell them as i'll use for bub no 2 so I'd rather spend the money now to have good quality ones than buy cheaper ones that we cna't use again. even if that means spending a lot of money.
