Holly was born on Thursday 19th December, she is absolutely beautiful and a dream baby. I did get my elective c-section which went really well, I was up and about within 6 hours and moved to another GP unit hospital for 3 nights the next day, which was also wonderful. Happy new year to all mumsnetters!

Lovely news Paula1 - glad you got the birth you wanted - I got my elective 'epidural on arrival at the hospital' and thought it was brill - Natural childbirth?? No thanks!
