Birth Announcement

Holly was born on Thursday 19th December, she is absolutely beautiful and a dream baby. I did get my elective c-section which went really well, I was up and about within 6 hours and moved to another GP unit hospital for 3 nights the next day, which was also wonderful. Happy new year to all mumsnetters!

Thanks so much everyone. Jakey-man is a real delight - after a four year gap I'd forgotten how gorgeous they are (and just about everything about how to look after them, as well)!

...well, at least you have mumsnet this time round, Justine. I know how you feel, the age gap was over five years between my first and second son, and, second time around, I relied on vague memories of correct procedure.
