Oh dear - it didn't all go to plan then?! Sound nerve-wracking and looooonnng.

Thankfully all turned out ok. 9 days in hosp is a long time though.

How are rest of family doing? Looking after you well I hope.

I am off to Dublin this afternoon for Xmas - won't be back on line much till early Jan. Will be thinking of you - I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. I know in lots of ways it will be very hard and bittersweet.

JingleBelgoHoHoHo · 19/12/2007 08:40

also that everything worked out in the end and you have little Edouard with you

BandofReindeerwaitingontheroof · 19/12/2007 08:49

CarmenerryChristmas · 19/12/2007 08:56

Ouch at birth drama but sounds like a good obs and I am delighted that Edouard has arrived in time for Christmas cuddling, enjoy
Oh and that is a GREAT name btw.

TenLordsaLapin · 19/12/2007 08:59

Oh ggg OUCH for the spinal block and the 9 days in but I am PMSL at "Dh left for quickie entrecote" - sooo French - and "two ipod recharges" - it's a thoroughly modern birth!

In the future women won't compare labour stories based on "I was pushing for 11 hours" - it'll be "I got through a whole iPod - 4 gig!"

Hope your solemn little man is well today!

MrsMillsletoe · 19/12/2007 09:01
