Hello my new friends.

Come in, pull up a chair and have a gab

FMN - better day today for Dan and Em. He has managed to get her back in the house and they are having a lovely night according to Danny. They have a doctors appointment tomorrow. They took Lew for his check up today and the HV is the same lady I had for Danny, Gareth and Matthew. Ems seems delighted cause the HV made such a fuss of my firstborns firstborn

She has also told Em that she is always available to see her at anytime and for whatever reason.

Please keep your fingers crossed for us.

Sadly no change in Beths condition

Every time I read this thread I just wonder why we all have so much to cope with in our lives and yet others seem to breeze along with no major traumas

sending everyone hugs

shabster · 07/08/2008 01:45

Morning my friends - I havent been to bed yet - head full of dreams and nightmares, thoughts and wishes and HOPES.

Speak later my loves. Kale Nita as the Greeks say. Nightie Nightie Pyjama Pyjama as they say at Pontins Holiday camps. xx

lottiejenkins · 07/08/2008 08:39

Morning all..... xxxxxxxxx

feedmenow · 07/08/2008 12:34

Shabs, glad to hear that Emma is looking on the up.

Still thinking of Beth. xx

FM - I wonder about that too. Why some people have "simple" lives. Ever since I was young I've had this idea of some sort of Karma whereby if you are never, ever ill you'll get something really bad/nasty one day. And if you never, ever win anything on the lottery then when you do you'll get a big one! So for all the Sh*te we go through now, maybe it means that we'll have nothing but peace, calm, happiness (and a big lottery win!) in our retirements!

Mind you, I also believe that the Monster of Boggy Creek would come up the toilet when I was on it

shabster · 07/08/2008 20:12

Evening girls.

Beth is still the same. She has two nasty infections and high temperature. Blood sugar is also very high. They have her on a ventilator and still heavily sedated. Poor baby. My niece (her mummy) is a delight. We have just been talking and I am at a loss for the right words.

OP posts:
frasersmummy · 07/08/2008 21:16

oh shabster there is nothing I can say except that the whole family is in my thoughts and prayers

Dont worry about finding the right words .. I am sure your niece is just grateful for your support.

I was puttng Ross to bed tonight when he said .. Mum explain to me again why Fraser lives in his garden and not here with me

I had to have a little bubble.. sometimes its just really hard

anyway hope we are all ok tonight

shabster · 07/08/2008 22:29

Awwww Ross - what a little star. Having a cry in front of your children will never, ever harm them. As long as you explain and say even grown ups can feel very sad I personally cant see any harm.

Beth has been in this same situation many times and always pulls through.....but this time my niece sounds very low and almost beaten. Will keep standing in her corner and praying for a miracle.

Morning girls - another day, another dollar?

At least the sun is shining brightly up here in Bolton xxxx

I have just had a completely heartstopping start to the morning,,, Wilf lost one of his digital hearing aids that cost a thousand pounds each............. he realised when he got in the taxi... the poor driver was panicking as was i, Wilf went off with one digi and one analogue which isnt brilliant, i then went to the bathroom, i could hear it whistling on the floor and it was under the basin....... PHEW!! His holiday club lady can let the driver know so that is ok too..... Wilf wasnt too bothered just said we can get another one Mummy!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

feedmenow · 08/08/2008 10:03

Of course you can just get another one Lottie!! Don't you have one of those thriving money trees growing in your back garden like the rest of us do?????

FM - sad one children come out with things like that isn't it? I mean, sad but sweet. Whenever Eveny or Jay say anything about Eris it always takes me by surprise (as if I think that I'm the only one who still thinks of her....). I always talk to them about her with tears and snot, but with a smile cos thats the way she should be remembered - the smile bit, not the snot and tears!

Shabs, poor little Beth and poor your neice. It must be so hard going through the same thing time after time. Remind me (cos I have a seive head) what is causing this?

shabster · 08/08/2008 10:04

LOL Lottie!! Wilf is an absolute star.

Now can you try and find 2 missing pool champion trophies for me?? I have looked everywhere in this house and they arent here. Maybe they are in your house?

OP posts:
frasersmummy · 08/08/2008 10:19

and while you are at it .. can you see if you can find my mobile .. its been missing for weeks

lottiejenkins · 08/08/2008 10:20

FMN.... Thankfully I dont have to pay for them!! Shabs, I will get my antennae looking for them... Have now got to go and muck Wilfs bedroom out... What is that Captain Oates said in the Arctic.. thats it.. "I'm going out..I may be some time!!!" He was never seen again.,.. I fear a similar fate in the bedroom! Ha ha!!

shabster · 08/08/2008 10:27

Be careful in there Lottie - Yuk boys bedroom smells - eau de wiff!!! Our Danny used to store all kinds of stuff under his bed

Tommy is just coming up to that stage as well. From nappy rash to pimples in what seems like about 9 days

OP posts:
feedmenow · 08/08/2008 11:18

Lottie - BUT DO YOU HAVE A MONEY TREE????? Even if you don't have to pay for the hearing aid, does Wilf have that attitude with everything? My 2 are always on about getting this or that or "just getting a new one" if something gets lost! Me, I sh*t money I do

lottiejenkins · 08/08/2008 12:27

He can be a bit like that yea.......... hard to make him understand......

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 08/08/2008 19:10

FMN - if you're shitting money, you can come andf crap my way

I hope we are all well. I'm 36 weeks this weekend and the baby is 3/5 engaged. I can't believe how fast this is going.

Have a good weekend everyone xx

shabster · 08/08/2008 19:45

frasersmummy · 09/08/2008 15:02

hi girls, its raning here too..

my tonsilitis has just flared up again .. hubby decided as he was working loads of hours this week that he was entitled to lie in bed till 11am..

so this morning I just stuck the cartoons and let ross sit and veg .. seemed like a good idea at the time..
